Therapy plays a huge role in recovery and life in general adhdonline.com/ericzink/ to get tested for ADHD and more, along with getting connected to psychiatrists and psychologists in your area.

I was a cocaine addict (clean since 2017) - honestly the part I used to get excited about the most was getting the coke dropped off more than actually taking the coke. When my dealers would text me saying “I’m on my way, I’ll be 5 mins” or “I’m outside now” honestly I used to get such a buzz.
I’m from the UK and I can relate to you looking around the carpet for little bits of white rocks that you’ve dropped, sooo relatable!!
I replaced cocaine with oxycodone (oxynorm as it’s known in the UK) and I fell in love with them pills so much, I was in a full blown relationship with oxycodone after the cocaine. Still to this day I’m on a replacement for the oxycodone.

That sounds like hell. Eat red meat, saturated fat and ditch procesed food.

I would recommend having your blood drawn at a lab. If you end up using these home testing companies the results can be inaccurate. There was a large discrepancy in my readings between both.

Mine is 37.2, 44 years old, I will follow your journey. I got scared off and did not start therapy because doc said testicles will shrink and you become extremely addicted to TRT.

What a load of rubbish. You need to find a functional medicine doctor who will prescribe biodentical hormones. Testosterone should be above 500. Your testosterone is that of a 100 year old man

    • @PierBuda-bw3gw
      @PierBuda-bw3gw Před měsícem

Do not bother with conventional doctors or specialists - they only know what they have been taught which is zero. A functional medicine doctor will balance your hormones. It might be something else and once that is fixed your testosterone might come up on its own easily.

It’s not addictive bc it’s a lot of work. Just try Clomid and Kisspeptin with herbs first. Works. Lose the fat and it will get better. Everyone is too fat. Over 20% BF and your hormones will
      Lower a little

I've just found out that I should be at between 11.4 and 27.9nmol/L, but I'm at 7.2.
I started to feel a lot of aches and pains, have had depression and anxiety for quite a long time, though I haven't tested low in the past.
I also have high bad cholesterol and low good, along with being prediabetic.
I live in the UK and my GP (general practitioner) has to weight to see if he can prescribe me patches.
I've just turned 40 and I hope the patches help me feel better.
I'm going to start a strength workout routine at home, I have some weights, resistance bands and a pullup bar, apparently resistance training can have an almost immediate effect on low test.

My boyfriend was diagnosed with low testosterone after also getting a long covid diagnosis. He struggles with no motivation and weakness. He some days has trouble leaving the couch. He has been getting shots for it for over 6 months with little improvement . We were recently sent to an endocrinologist. So far she changed his dose. Thanks for sharing your story. Anyone else link this to having covid?

Mate best bet for you. Go get an independent test done then go back to your doctor and tell him he is going to put you on TRT. 2 tests on different days proving low T, he has no choice.
Wouldn't surprise me if they'd offered you setraline instead 😂

This is exactly my husband. I can't remember his number when the blood count came back but its very very low, like an 8 or something. We saw a specialist a couple months back, and all he suggested Hubby do was to see a psychologist, to deal with his mental health and he'll see an improvement with his testosterone. Hasnt helped at all.

Hubby should stop eating grains and start eating a high saturated fat and red meat diet. You know, like a real man.
