Since some of you guys really want to see me suffer by playing ground battles (im an aircraft main), i decided to spoil you guys with this video about the new Object 292 war thunder event vehicle.

This tank is an amalgamation and subtraction of fucking everything. T-80B's turret and engine. T-80U's frontal composite. RIP your ERA. RIP your thermals. RIP your smoke grenades. RIP your reload rate. And RIP anything you hit with decent shot placement. Literally a T-80U that re-spec'd everything into Strength and said "Fuck Dex and HP, I only need to hit you once"
Object 120 had an unknown affair.

edit: nvm it would also have worse turret armor and a better engine making it into more of a light mbt.

The object 195 actualy predates the object 292 by 2 years.

It’s funny because I have had like 5 instances where I shoot the 292 in the side right under the turret and only kill the commander and nothing else lmao. Shit is ridiculous. And then they shoot the 20mm on my Leo 2K with HE and 1 shot me. I’m not saying it’s broken, I’m just saying it’s stupid and takes no skill. If tank RB was already a point and click adventure, this tank does nothing to allay that. There is no aiming for weak spots, you simply click and the target dies.

Is the statement about "less armor" taken from some dudes reddit post? I remember seeing that claim but there was no actual evidence to back up the removal of said armor, or give a good reason as to why that would happen in the first place.
In the game, you can actually see that the quartz armor is cut off to make room for the gun Mantle, but the Mantle itself also offers extra protection around the gun, so the armor is about the same if no stronger, and matches up with the irl design of the tank. I don't see any reason why the Russian would of removed more turret armour that wasn't interfering with the installation of the gun...
the Kontakt-5/Relikt ERA package that makes the armor of the T-80s trolly is completely missing on the Object 292 (never had ERA irl), so its armor is still worse than the T-80s ingame.
@@DonutWithMustache maybe I misunderstood, but it sounds like you were saying that it's armor is over preforming in game tho? Obviously it didn't have the ERA, just like in real life, I was simply talking about the claim that somehow it's based armor is overpreforming
