    Great video mate. I just got a Robobrew Gen3 and did my first all grain brew today and I chose this recipe to be my first proper brew. In the fermenter now and I pitched yeast at 21 degrees and backed it off to 18 degrees right after. I hope it turns out well. My OG was 1.060 but I can't work out why, happy with how everything went though. Cheers mate...

      How's the Robobrew going now? I had some issues with efficiency so interested to hear if you experienced more of this and how you've developed brewing on the RG3. If you can be arsed.

    Great video gash. When you were doughing in at the beginning the cap on the middle that got covered in grain actually looked a bit like a little zombie head lol 3:19. Keep up the good work mate. Cheers!

    Good video mate. To prevent it from sucking in when you are cooling it to pitching temps, can put a blast of co2 in. Also mitigates and chance of infection being sucked in. Cheers mate 🍺🍺👍

    Hey there Gash, could you please explain in a few word how this chiller is working? I'm trying to wrap my head around it but can't figure out how you can chill your wort while it's going through the chiller... Thanks!

    • @HomeBrewNetwork
      @HomeBrewNetwork  Před 5 lety

      Its a counter flow chiller while hot wort goes through a centre pipe, cool tap water goes through an outer pipe that surrounds the centre pipe. Does that make sense? Cheers!

    What's that thing floating in the fermenter at 18:08?

    • @HomeBrewNetwork

      Thats the floating pick up tube, the fermenter empties from the top so you're not drawing up yeast etc, you can use it to serve from after the ferment if you like. Cheers!

      Only time I might use it is if for any reason I have to leave and go down the street or something, I'll either just turn the pump off or use the top screen so if it starts going down the centre tube its not taking grain with it.
