  • In Episode 119, we disassemble the vent glass window assembly, remove the glass from the frame, replace all of the gaskets and seals, polish the stainless steel trim, install a new glass, and install a new window regulator. Good as new!

Hey thanks for sharing these videos I'm here in southern Oregon helping my friend with a 56 Bel Aire that I painted for him and we're at the same point putting the windows in right now!

Im going to have to go to the shop sometime today and look through my pile to make sure I got all the pieces for my vent windows. I didn’t take the car apart so it’s always a bit of a treasure hunt on a deal like this. Nice video!

When I lay out all of my parts on the ground, that's exactly why I'm doing it. "OK - what am I missing???" LOL!

Years ago, I tried to pulling out the passenger side glass window and in the process I just about broke my nose as well as jacking up my frame to my glasses when i tugged so hard to remove the whole frame . Enjoyed your professional manner on how to rebuild a side window frames .
    Ouch!!

Usually when you get new division bar channel they give you brass rivets to attach them ... the brass is softer and less chance of chipping the glass ... they look good though ... I'm gonna try to put electric motors on mine ... commin along ...
