What is ISTQB certification & how to pass it?

- Lets talk about ISTQB today and what it is. I am sharing my personal tips & tricks on how to get it, why would you actually need to pass the certification and anything else I though might be useful to you guys as software testers or quality assurance engineers. Obviously there are other certifications in testing you can pass, but this one is very well known and I have two of them so here ya go!

The foundation level exam was really difficult for me to pass and has yet to help me get a job. 😔
Yes, I passed only on the second try haha. The thing is it may not be straight up the reason you get the job, but there have been cases for me personally as I mentioned where they wanted me only because of the certificate. The important thing is that you understand and know how to apply the fundamentals and what else to check when testing. Fingers crossed you land something soon!

Haha I ain’t scared 😄well everything i say is informational and a lot of it is based on what I have seen been done in the industry. Of course it can all be subjective, but everyone can make their own informative choices - reading is free😊
is the test timed or was just how long it took you?
Yes the test is timed. The first one - foundation level- took 60 minutes and the advanced one was 180 minutes.
