@@room7594 First off that prophet is to also say “let us follow other gods.” Jesus Christ said He had no authority other than the authority that the Father gave Him, therefore He glorified and led people to the Father; not other gods-you should continue studying.
Secondly, Jesus once asked what the greatest commandment was in which case the response was to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
*Back to Deut 13* : “The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul.” (verse 3)
So when Jesus says “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me,” (in John 5:39) you can see He references your verse that you chose from Deuteronomy. You don’t even know what you are talking about do you?

You and the Muslims are so ignorant that it is ridiculous that you think that we attribute to God a son through procreation, while the Son of God means that the Spirit of God came upon Joshua, and you find this in Isaiah 61:1, and in verse 30:4 he tells about the work of the Father and says, “What is his name?” What is the name of (his son), if you know? As for the Trinity, you find it within the verses of the Tanakh, starting with the word Elohim, which literally means the gods, as evidenced by the plural syllable at the end of the word, which is not evidence of the multiplicity of gods, but rather of the Trinity (God thinks - God says - God does) and this God is one, and His attributes are not divided. You can read explanations of the Trinity instead of resorting to the myths of ignorant rabbis.@@abbalives7168

It would be wonderful for Christians to pray the shema! All should pray as instructed in scripture!
By praying it you will be saying this: Listen Israel! Hashem is God! Hashem is ONE!
*Adoni/Hashem these are stand in words for God’s name that should not be spoken.
The only issue Christians may have is that Christians decided at the council of Nicaea 300 years after Jesus died that Hashem is 3 not one (trinity). And they believe that Jesus is god. This Christian belief (creed) contradicts this prayer.
If you start to go down the path of discovering all the changes the church made over the centuries it is eye opening.
Remember that scripture says that you can master over sin, and that you can repent if you do sin and Hashem will not remember your sin. The church never mentions that. You do not need sacrifice or blood.
