Phoenix Theatre Feature

The Sheldon Theatre is no stranger to the concept of ashes and rising from them. After all, it’s burned in fires twice. But that’s not why its resident community theatre company adopted the Phoenix Theatre as its moniker.

The "Summer Playhouse" was organized in 1959. It had years of presenting plays. Summer Playhouse was the start of community theatre in Red Wing. The first play was "Solid Gold Cadillac". Sharon Flueger Marty
