    This is close to how we do it here in Igbo land.
    I used to hunt them as a kid. Rats usually have an exit and entrance point in their tunnel (so I would argue the men in the video couldn't find the second point).
    We use lighted palm sponge to fill the entrance point with smoke while tracing the exit point (before poking around for the tunnel to rattle them out).
    When we find the other point, we wait with a cutlass/matchete or trap. OGs catch them with bare hands, but I never acquired that level of skills 🤣
    Rat hunting is a whole package. It's one of the best memories of my childhood.

    • @Phearsum
      @Phearsum Před rokem +8

      @@keekaleikaiYou would probably be surprised how much healthier the majority of primitive people are compared to average humans living in modern society. They're less prone to just about every medical issue we face and live happier lives.
      The only real health issues they risk are from mosquitoes in disease endemic areas. Other than that, yeah, healthier than the West by leaps. Lower chances of cancer, alzheimers, infertility, heart disease, obesity, mental health issues... The list goes on.
      That chicken you jokingly implied was worse than a wild rat actually is. It's full of hormones and chemicals they used to treat the chicken. A lot of chicken processing plants also don't feed their livestock well, so the bird itself is unhealthy and filled with garbage, and that is stored in its tissue.
      So yeah on a fundamental level that wild rat from the jungle floor is cleaner and healthier than that bucket of KFC you brought home to appease your children.
      But they'll never admit that to you. Cause then you'd realize something. People living for free in the woods like primitives eat better than you. You waste a 3rd of your life working yourself mad to feed yourself garbage and die unhealthy and unsatisfied with life, while the guy in a loin cloth in the jungle lives a fulfilling life, healthy, and dies never having even known what depression was.
