    Yo Czar! You always have sick content! Keep up the great work!
    Which mic would you recommend if u had the budget for hiphop rap/singing vocals, Delphos 2 vs. V4 Gen2? Which mic do u think handles sibilance the best? Thanks!

    • @TheAudioCzar
      @TheAudioCzar  Před 2 lety +2

      you can't go wrong with either, I think the Delphos handles sibilance a little better, I attribute that to it being not as bright. They have both have excellent clarity, but the V4 is little more open on the top. But I would not call the delphos dark at all. Just not as bright as other mics

      @@TheAudioCzar Just like your reviews, I appreciate the honest feedback without being bias on the gear.

    V13 tube v2 is amazing mic too…

  • @EvilPimpTheUndergroundKing

    I'm thinking of finally pulling the trigger since i recovered from Christmas. How does this compare to the gen 1 which can be had cheaper now that gen 2 is out.

    Hey Czar, just wondering which one is better: the V13 or the V4? In terms of singing and rapping.

    • @TheAudioCzar
      @TheAudioCzar  Před 2 lety

      Can't speak on v13, never used it. I'm sure the v13 being tube has a warmer sound, where the V4 is probably cleaner. It just depends on the sound that you're going for.

    How is this mic in terms of self noise ?

    • @TheAudioCzar
      @TheAudioCzar  Před 2 lety +1

      Self noise is 12db, which I would consider good. Anything under 16db for a condenser I would consider good.

      @@TheAudioCzar 12's good for a tube mic. This mic for the price point should be at least as quiet as a RODE.

    How do you find this mic compares to the Miktek MK300?

    • @TheAudioCzar
      @TheAudioCzar  Před 2 lety +1

      The V4 has more detail and mk300 has more top end, and more colored. I have a full review of the mk300 coming this week

    Hey czar the v4 or the Delphos 2 for rap vocals

    • @TheAudioCzar
      @TheAudioCzar  Před 2 lety

      I haven't compared the Gen 2 to the delphos, but when I compared the V4 Gen one to the delphos the delphos had a hair more clarity. I think this is going to come down to the voice you're recording. The delphos rolls off some top end, this is great for sibilant vocals. The V4 will have more highs. Both will be clear though. That's a tough one.

    Is this better than a tlm 103 or wa 87

    • @ChristopherczarSmith
      @ChristopherczarSmith Před 2 lety

      Never used a wa87 but I would take this over tlm. Tlm is only cardiod. This gives you all 3 polar patterns. And ha a pad, making it make versatile. You never know when you will need those extra polar patterns
