I tried to find one of these that was an actual mirror replacement as opposed to one that mounts to the mirror. But they are still pretty cool and nice to have as a dashcam to record and all that. Probably get some good POV footage from it to.

Once you get use to having a backup camera and get in to a vehicle without one, you really notice how nice they really are. I feel lost without one now 🤷‍♂️

So the rear camera isnt connected to the rear view part?I wish there was a more in depth video because it looks like you just took the rear camera on the bumper and hardwired it to your tail light wires, instead of running it all the way to the cabin

Why is it showing a forward recording when you’re moving forward? I get why you’d want to record forward movement when in forward but now you can’t see behind you when moving forward.
Or is that not how it’s supposed to work?

Those are cool in the daytime but absolutely worthless at night with a car behind you. I’ve tried a couple different ones on different vehicles, right above the license plate and even up high on the back of an suv and still if there’s a car behind you the headlights just glare the whole screen and id worthless. Nice to have for insurance reasons though, you catch a lot of crazy stuff on there just driving around

You showed that it had a front facing camera but do you have to shut the unit off to use it as a regular mirror. Id lile my mirror and then have it switch to rear when i hit in reverse

Question for those who know...is the rear camera solely a backup camera or is it a true rear-mounted camera? I already have a backup camera installed in my car but would like to replace my dashcam as well as record footage from the rear camera consistently alongside the front camera.
