"To cheat death is a power that only Shaak Ti has achieved,...but if we work TOGETHER...I'm sure we can ''discover'' the secret." -Palpatine
The Living Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.
Both of you made me laugh 😂
Nah everyone returns to life in disneyverse
First 3.75 minutes stating how important it was to get rid of her 1st in many slight variations
Palpatine is so stupid. He spent his entire life trying to cheat death but Shaak Ti did it like 5 times 💀
Nice :D
Shaak Kenny. If I’m not mistaken, killed 3 times in the old canon - by Grievous, during order 66, and by Starkiller.
Could be all 3 are canon. She could be so attuned to the force and have access to a rare ability that lets her get back up some time later making her exceptionally difficult to kill. Her resistance to death could be why Anakin went straight for her, his mistake being not making sure she stayed dead.
Of course I just pulled all that out of my ass but it is one way to go if you really wanted to. It would be an interesting trait to see, especially in a sith.
@@gunguntrio1247 that'd be cool. But we're dealing with Disney now... 😒
@@3xeplodng_3agle_studiosOh absolutely. Disney and quality do not go hand in hand.
1, she was focused on what was going on, and trusted anakin completely. She didn't direct her perception at him, so she didn't realize.
Bonus: because Galen Marek is a badass.
Better question: Why was she killed so often?
She died in like 5 different ways
True
Jotheunissen are counting the one in Force unleashed game too ?
Honestly, her death in The Force Unleashed was the most honorable! It WAS an honor to fight her! I would do so a dozen times.
@@stevenyarnell8422Imma take you out to TGI Fridays for dinner!
Maybe Master Ti's species is related to cats, have more than one life naturally?
Because the Quick Time Events in The Force Unleashed are impossible to lose!
TL;DR: She falsely assumed that Anakin was just understandably pissed for the same reason she was.
I was looking for this comment as we'd all be in that situation
I killed millions of jedis (she was 50% of the kills)
What novel is this based on? Because I’ve read the RoTS novelisation and the last mention of Shaak Ti is when Anakin demands to know where she is. It’s an interesting theory but the novel certainly doesn’t explain that theory. And tbh it still doesn’t make sense for Shaak Ti to die this way. For me, canon or not, Shaak Ti’s death in the Force Unleashed makes the most sense and is the best death for the character.
I strongly agree
Shaak Ti dying as many times as Kenny from South Park
Shaak Ti has to be one of the most underrated Jedi in the Order
Doesn't seem like it. Anakin pwns her very easily.
When I watched the 2003 clone wars thing, her animation made her out to be WAY younger than she is in live action! She is both cute and sexy in the 2003 cartoon. Also, she is sooo badass!
Her and stass Allie considering they wouldn't be alive without each other during the battle of coruscant
Tasia Valenza voiced her well in TCW.
@@Jon-1005there's no ITERAL advantage to Anakin if they dueled shaak ti is calm and experienced and nearly reached dooku level in his lightsaber form and mastered two other forms one of them is defensive which is ITERALY WHAT MADE ANAKIN BURN TO DEATH DUE TO OBI WAN HAVING THE ADVANTAGE AGAINST HIS RECKLESS FIGHTING STYLE shaak ti is more strong and experienced in the force too she would easily kill Anakin AND escape order 66 the only thing holding her back is that she has no canon future or death and that Anakin will most likely have plot armour
Her duel against Starkiller I feel is her rightful death it just makes more sense but I've always preferred Legends over cannon anyway
I've always said and thought the same. We hear so much about how great a fighter she was.. one the absolute best. An I she was to go out... which was well known she had.. I agree, she went out admirably an honorably. It was fitting she go out fighting an putting up a rather good fight too instead of getting shanked from behind. Sure even late Empire Vader may have come to think similar. Wether Anakin did or not
Completely agree. She deserved to put up more of a fight.
I miss Star Killer
She dies more than everybody did on this Earth every day
Not out-of Canon
She was seen in the PS2 Game The Force Unleashed (2004) as a surviver of order 66 and the last Jedi whom Darth Vader ordered starkiller to hunt down
"Deep in bowel meditation"😮
Somehow Shaak Ti returned.
Good work!
@thestupendouswave
You and the Archivist need to talk about Mace Windu vs Palpatine and if Mace actually defeated Palpatine or Sidious lets him just for Anakin to see them
I think the video said something important, but didn't examine it more closely and that's Shaak Ti felt Anakin, not Vader the thing to remember and the novelization goes over this better even when storming the temple and slaughtering the Jedi Anakin is heavily conflicted with his thoughts and he tries to desperately reconcile with himself about doing what he thinks is his duty, and still trying to remain the "Good man" that he once was it's only after killing the separatist council, and his disfigurement by Obi-Wan does Vader's force signature overrides Anakin's, and I think that plays a lot into why she didn't react to him, she fought alongside Anakin she knew his tells for when something was making him uncomfortable and uneasy, and that entire attack on the temple is something he's extremely uneasy about doing, so like the clones she didn't feel a significant shift in his presence in the force given everything that was taking place.
The ‘Path of Destruction’ comparison was an odd one, in that novel the Jedi Master was using battle meditation not normal meditation, she didn’t defend herself but she was too weak from it to put up enough of a fight and those extra couple of seconds could have allowed the military a better chance of turning the battle than in personal combat.
In my opinion (or head canon) Shaak Ti WAS doing battle meditation and thats why some jedi like Kelleran Beq and Grogu were able to escape. I personally dont think that Shaak Ti was killed immediately as stated in this video. Especially if we're going off of the deleted scene because, in the scene, Anakin kills Shaak Ti and then leaves the room and we see the clones killing a sparse amount of jedi and some statues crumbling down. So the battle was in the later stages. I think there is much much more going on here.
This must be legends content. I remember playing Force Unleashed, she was one of the bosses. I'm guessing the character "Star Killer" is Disney Star wars.
I love legends myself, Kyle Katarn is my favorite character. Disney pretends like he never existed at all in there story.
If you haven't done a episode on him it would tickle me to learn anything new about his story.
Thx for vid, always interesting ^^
A very interesting and compelling answer. Always though that her cannon death was a bit ridiculous and despite being immersed in the force, still think she should have been able to deduce that something was terribly wrong with Anakin and not left her guard down around him.
Great review! I have mained the strider since 2021. What are a few of the fastest pads you've used? I heard Neptune which I will check out, but any others (with affiliate links)? I play dynamic FPS (Apex Legends, Quake, DOOM) and want a faster pad. I currently use tiger ice v2 dots on my op1 8k.
If Ventress can return from the dead im sure she can too
If Sabine & Reva survived also, why not Shak Ti & Qui Gon Jin?
What I wanna know though is when Obi Wan says Shaak Ti was sent to protect Palpatine in the last season of Clone Wars, I was under the impression that they were hinting that the first deleted scene with Grievous killing her was canon, but if THIS death scene in the video is confirmed, then how did she survive when Grievous kidnapped Palpatine?
Don't get too attached, Filoni woll deatroy it
Do remember that Anakin had a certain dark aura the entire Clone Wars that most Jedi knew off, some sensed this before he was made Padawan but the Tusken situation and the Clone Wars worsened this, Shaak Ti knew very well the dark aura around Anakin so that would in her head be a normal thing at that point. The Padawans who trained beside Anakin learned quickly how angry the boy was already at that point. Then Kenobi "died" 2 times during the War and the deaths of so many Jedi and Clones naturally worsened this. Battle for Jabiim was especially hard on Anakins state of mind and fall into darkness.
Could ani be the very thing that blocked the Jedi’s vision? Was sidious using him as a cloaking devise against the Jedi before he turned him? 😮
Did Mace Windu sense anakin and did palpatine throw the fight with mace Windu
Council member Coleman kcaj was at the temple as well.
I wish they would write a novel following Syfo Dyas and his story from excerpts from Dooku Jedi Lost book and there youth thru his death
Brilliant
People forget that without stass allie's help and proficiency during the siege of coruscant especially in her use with force based barrers both of them palpatine and the padawans would have died
Palpatine would have WHAT?
Okay!
❤ Shaak Ti
That is cowardly they need to rewrite that one too,
Shak Ti dies every day , sometimes twice on Sunday.
I thought that was Shaak Ti that General Grievous killed in the deleted scene
Excellent use of, what I consider, superior, now legends, comic art.
Shout out Jan Duursema.
Qui Gon and Shaak Ti died from impalement, but a certain Mandalorian "Jedi" survived it. 🤔
Been hearing this for ever who would buy it? No one who would do any better
Problem is in the end of the clone wars obi wan says that shaak to went to the invisible hand
I wished Disney would release the 3-4 hour version of ROTS. George said when he first did the film it was 4 hours long. He re-edited it and it was 3. He edited it a final time and bam. That film still has to be somewhere Disney and you paid for it. Release his 4 hour one and you’ll make bank. Again just give it to Dave filoni and walk away. You’ll get huge money.
I think canon has changd - we see her body (albeit under a sheet) in the bad batch as they return to kamino
I seriously never understood George Lucas why did she have her killed by Anakin and grievous like why do you have to do it twice?
My only reasoning for her to die so easily was through her mediation she seen Anakin would bring balance to force even though he was on dark side now he would bring about downfall of sith
That’s bullshit. She didn’t need to meditate.
-All she needed to do was walk outside to the blaster fire and explosions.
Wouldn’t have taken but a second to put 2 and 2 together.
We honestly got robbed live action of seeing the prowess and might of Darth Vader compared to other Jedi not named Obi Wan.
It’s because they didn’t want confirmed on screen deaths of characters they may or may not have survived order 66 in other media
@@liltory3196 oh very true. Just sucks because we could have seen Pre Armor Vader against Jedi that stood no chance of beating him. Especially in the case of a Shaak Ti or Cin Draling.
Oh please... the order 66 event was a marysue beyond compare
What novel are you referring to that reveals this? And does this contradict with the canon comics where Luke finds the holocron where she gives a final attempt to preserve the jedi teachings? She says, "if you are seeing this, do not let our deaths be in vain. Do not let this be the end of the jedi" so it seems that she knew what was happening.
02:08 - Huh 🤔
Shaak Ti wasnt a Twi'lek(?) Noted
Torgruta
It was a reference to another instance of battle meditation 1000 years prior to Order 66.
I'm so lost- I thought Gen Grievous killed Shaak Ti in ROTS? I just looked up that deleted scene and it's fake as hell
This is very bad judgement. We can understand what happened. It happened like you said.Extreme disturbance in the Force, then radio silence. Then Anakin shows up with 501 legion. Then it was over.May the Force be with you too always😀
She was such a great fighter and yet she got taken apart like a puzzle thrown against a wall. Mustve not been that after all.
She was too distracted by the purge going on that force became unreliable in the that moment. It masked Anakins true intentions
Wait what? I thought Shaak Ti was supposed to be killed by Grievous.
They did her so dirty in canon ... Shes one of my favourite Jedi in Legends but in canon bruh shes should have heard or noticed / sensed the blaster noises or the dying Jedi in the temple but no shes a nab in canon gg
😎
To be fair they had to kill her like three times to make it stick!
I still don’t understand why we assume that Yoda’s vision actually played out like that. I think it’s just a lazy way to kill off a character
Day 441 of asking for a part 3 of what if anakin was trained by qui gon
Star Wars novels exist to explain away George Lucas' laziness and bad decisions.
NNNNNNOOOOOOO
Did anyone notice that know one goes to the toilet ever in the books and movies 😂
Shaak Ti’s death sure was….Shaaking
Because Shaak Ti didnt do the Humpty Dance correctly.
Because she's just the dollar store Ahsoka
Normei Disney SW fan i see
Damn.
Ouch that rough dude 0.,0
@@HatsStayUnited No actually, it was a joke I don't like Disney because the Sequels were complete and utter dog shit.
I honestly hope they redkon her death. If anyone deserves it it’s Shaak Ti, she doesn’t even have to survive order 66 but at least dying doing exactly what she was tasked for. Dying protecting and saving some of the younglings and knights. What a shame of a character tbh
The Jedi deaths in order 66, as portrayed by Lucas, is one of his many failures as director. He has a great credit for creating the Star Wars universe but had better director been put in charge of the movies, we could have had much better movies. Just check all fight scenes and missed opportunities to show the political scheming he barely explored, as well as the many stupid attempts of humor. And Jar Jar Binks... 🤮🤮
Maybe you'd rather have Disney do it over again maybe it would be better if they did it right
Don't talk bad to jar jar he's my next door neighbor 😅🎉
@@thompson9400 Disney has been making huge profits since they bought the rights to Star Wars so they can't be doing such a horrible job. I do not think they are necessarily the best choice for a full remake but if they treated that as they've done w/ the Andor series, I'd be confident on good results.
@@fedricojgarza464 🤣🤣
@@corujariousa glad I made you 😆
I don't think you are right at all here!
If you ever played Star Wars, Lego, revenge of the Sith chapter because it shows that very scene God bless you and Jesus loves you.
I choose not to believe this
I’m here 2nd
Still thinks she’s alive.
BS…all the council members died like dogs at the hands of Palpatine and Anakin. The movie was at fault for this. Darth Lucas. Admit it. Nice try though.
Legends makes far better sense of her death. Sometimes canon just doesn't make any damn sense.
Star wars fans will do anything to explain shit writing
Hated this jedi good riddance
