His daughter is so, so selfish to do something to her own, clearly loving, father. I would do anything for a dad like him. A lot of people in his life did him wrong. He seemed like such a down-to-earth human being with such a kind heart who saw the good in everyone, constantly. I hope he rests in peace.
Man when I heard this story I got so heated. His own daughter man. His own father who was this wonderful person and did so much for her, and yet, she took him out like that. I hope they both get what they deserve in the afterlife and in prison.

Both were sentenced to Life With the possibility of Parole & Serria still maintains her innocence.
Daniel's life was so sad. He just wanted the best for his kids. I hope his daughter and his first ex wife gets whats coming to them by god.
Just read that on May 25, Sierra and Aaron pled guilty and are awaiting sentencing July 14..
Oh boy, I'm gonna watch that court case and see what's the "harshest punishment" they'll be given for that

It is tragic that such a good and pure soul would have so much misfortune in their life and then their life would end so cruel and violently. The female family members in his life were so awful. They were selfish, self-absorbed leaches that only cared about themselves and getting whatever they wanted regardless of who it hurt.

Covid has only finally died down this year, and after all the shit this man’s ex wife put him through, when he still wanted to be a part of his kids’ lives (even during the pandemic), one of them murders him and defiles his corpse…
How many people Sierra’s age lost their parents to Covid?! And how many would dream to having a loving father figure like him in their lives?!? Even when he’d already lost much of his life with his kids, from being labeled a sex-offender from his wife’s allegation, he still wanted to be there for them, and then she goes and kills him.
Just looked up their sentence, and they both were convicted on 9 felonies, including 1st degree murder and 1st degree arson. They both received life in prison
I know it's only a minor point, but: anyone can accuse anyone of "inappropriate touching", even if they're married, even in the middle of an argument and one person is clearly out to get the other and the police and the courts don't require the least smidgen of evidence before placing the "criminal" on a Sex Offenders' Register?

It's not "anyone" who can accuse "anyone" of inappropriate touching. It's women who can accuse men, especially if the woman isn't considered unattractive. Very sad and one of the worst things to me is how selfish and self centered these two kids are. There are so so many kids put here that would love to have a dad love them as much as Daniel loved his kids .

calling the cops on the boy for the age difference would have been a good idea if the age of consent was 18. In Las Vegas where they were dating the age of consent is 16 so they were perfectly legal.
It honestly feels like the 18 year old boyfriend took advantage of her and manipulated her. Remember, she was apparently already suffering from issues that required therapy. The guy's shitty wife made it so she couldn't even get that and then forced her to stop living with her own father, who she wanted to be with. She must have been looking for just about ANYONE that would fill that gap, so this 18 year old adult comes in and uses that to create a murder partner, and since she was already mentally disturbed, it was an easy act. Not trying to remove her part in the crime, but it does feel like this random dude just exploited someone in a fucked situation.
@@ndt7379 I agree entirely, it definitely seemed like he was likely a driving force in this situation that led to the sad outcome. this is an excellent example of a problem where location changed the outcome because if they were one state over in California the second the parents found out about the relationship they would have been able to keep him away from her easily. due to Nevada law this relationship was considered perfectly normal by all accounts until the murder. just another example of "just because it's legal doesn't make it right". kinda like cigarettes, they might be legal but they are damaging to your health.

It’s crazy how we live in such a “free” country that anyone can just walk up and say you touched them inappropriately against their consent and just be arrested and put down as a sex offender without any evidence at all.
As for the question as to how thwy were allowed to get together, 16 and 18 is fine in moat states. Someone 18 or older can still legally date someone who's 16, depending on the age of consent laws in each state.

This story feels like something is missing. I would like to see a interview with Daniel's daughter. I just don't understand how she could stab him to death and he didn't do anything but not letting her see her boyfriend. And in the video, the daughter didn't admit to killing anyone, it was the boyfriend.

You can’t understand?? People do evil things without any real provocation or warning all the time. There have been people that have killed others simply by saying no to prom. Whether the daughter said anything in the video is irrelevant, she is very much still guilty.
Doesn’t matter. She was an accomplice and seemed to show no remorse throughout the entire time afterwards. She was giggling and bragging in the video with her boyfriend. She’s sick.
I think it's the fact that this boyfriend comes out of nowhere and then suddenly Siera kills him. It sounds like she had met him sometime during the time the mother started using the courts to separate Daniel from his daughter a second time. Knowing that Siera was already enrolled in therapy for having personal issues, this may have made them worse, especially due to the fact that it'd likely mean her father would no longer be allowed to enroll her in it anymore, since the mother now had full custody. Now you have this 16 year old who is already disturbed and without the father figure she wants suddenly meeting this other adult, who is enticing her with sex and false love. The video recordings make it clear that this boyfriend would have killed someone no matter what, he just happened to find Siera. The way he chokes her out and how she mentions how their sex involved blood makes it sound like this guy got off hurting people and was already abusing her for his own gratification. He would have eventually killed her.
