Fawcett's career took off in the late 1960s when she landed guest roles on television series such as "I Dream of Jeannie," "The Partridge Family," and "The Six Million Dollar Man." However, it was her breakout role as Jill Munroe in the television series "Charlie's Angels" in 1976 that catapulted her to stardom. Fawcett's portrayal of the smart, athletic, and glamorous private investigator made her an instant sensation and a symbol of the era's empowered woman.
One of the most iconic images of the 1970s was Fawcett's poster, featuring her in a red swimsuit, which became a best-selling poster of all time and solidified her status as a sex symbol. The poster's success reflected not only Fawcett's undeniable beauty but also her ability to embody the aspirations and desires of a generation.
Throughout her career, Fawcett continued to challenge herself with diverse roles in film, television, and theater. She appeared in movies such as "Logan's Run" (1976), "Extremities" (1986), and "The Apostle" (1997), demonstrating her versatility as an actress. In addition to her acting talent, Fawcett also delved into producing, executive producing several projects including the television film "Small Sacrifices" (1989).
Despite her professional success, Fawcett faced personal challenges, including struggles with relationships and health issues. In 2006, she was diagnosed with anal cancer, a battle that she fought with courage and grace. Fawcett allowed cameras to document her journey in the documentary "Farrah's Story" (2009), providing an intimate look at her fight against the disease and raising awareness about cancer screening and prevention.
Farrah Fawcett passed away on the 25th of June, 2009, at the age of 62, leaving behind a legacy that transcends generations.

I always thought she was a stunning woman, but I became a fan of her acting when she played the hell out of the role in The Burning Bed. Brilliant movie…That was when I saw the brilliant actress that she was.. She definitely left her mark. Watching her documentary battling with cancer before she passed was gut wrenching as a fan. R.I.P. Farrah
BRILLIANT actress, she may have not started out great but she definitely became one hugely effective powerful actress and was super beautiful and charismatic. BEAUTIFUL woman. soooo sooo sorry that she made the decisions she made, with men in particular and with that came the drugs and I believe her being abused. maybe it was due to her upbringing? most women choose based on what they are already used to and her son also suffered greatly, I believe due to her marriage to her "last husband".
wayyyyyyy stupid choices but wish she had made better choices. Lee would have not done this to her............God bless her and her son. I hope he heals.
I loved her in that one and also small sacrifices. Omg, both movies, she gave amazing performances
Beautiful words, thank you for your message for Farrah. We're also a big fan of her. May she find peace 😢😢
She was also in the movie Small Sacrifices not listed in some of her movie collections but she did make it and she was fantastic. Ryan O’Neal was also in it. True story where a mother shot and tried to kill her children strictly because of her love ..obsession…of a man. Two of her children survived but were physically disabled from the gunshot wounds…they were actually adopted by the prosecuting atty in real life. Farrah was excellent in this role too. ❤️😞

Beautiful and talented actress who could portray a variety of different characters. She passed on the same day that Michael Jackson passed. May they both rest in peace.

I enjoyed her in all over movies thank you for sharing this
Our pleasure! What is your favorite role of Farrah?
My first sexual experience was inspired by Farrah’s poster hung on the ceiling of my bedroom in the basement of my parent’s house when I was in the 7th grade. I had to get a wet towel to clean the poster off.. and that ruined it. I learned so much about life that monumental day! How a moment of passionate pleasure can ruin your most treasured possessions.
She was gorgeous but she wanted to be taken seriously and not by her beauty
Eventually she proved to be very talented.

I remember even as a little girl
(aka a female heterosexual) thinking she was the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen
Later when I got older (teens) I saw a blue movie starring Marilyn chambers & I remember thinking that she looked a lot like Farrah Fawcett
If Fawcett looked more like regular average looking woman
Glad to know that you're a fan of Farrah. What other types of video would you like to see on our channel?
Even though she was considered a sex cymbal, she proved she was a great actress. I admired her for doing that. Never paid too much attention to her personal life, but was very sad when she had cancer. Farrah Fawcett left her mark.

Ferrah was a beautiful women with a gorgeous smile. Her beauty went beyond skin deep. She loved deeply it seems, even though she was not perfect she seemed humble and down to earth. I think she loved Ryan a lot in the end and as much as I love him as an actor he seems very stupid to think it was just his kids that caused the turmoil in Ferrah's live. From the interviews Ryan seems to blame others instead of looking in the mirror. While I am sure his kids had some impact on her stress, I think the numerous affairs Ryan had would have more of an impact on her stress levels. That being said, I don't think all the stress is what caused Ferrah to have cancer. Stress is a killer on your body, but Cancer is different. You don't get cancer from stress but the stress will have an impact on how your body fights the cancer. Some people are genetic prone to have cancer cells and some get it from the environmental toxins or toxins from chemicals used. Either way it was a sad day when we lost both of these talented celebrities. I have been re-watching all the old TV series Bones and enjoy seeing Ryan in them as Bones dad. I get sad every time I see him.
Thank you so much for your beautiful message for Farrah. Which of her roles appealed to you the most?
