Hello sir, I am from Lahore, Pakistan. I live in Qatar and my closest friends here are from Bombay and Chennai, India. The normal citizens from both countries in my opinion are exactly the same and they want peace and love. Our forefathers divided us, but in our hearts, we all belong to the same Indian Subcontinent divided by a line. I hope we get rid of these military tensions in our lifetime :(

When I was in Denver my mechanic was from Karachi. He was such a nice person. He would tell me to go sleep on a sofa kept in his shop while he fixes my car.
I was sick and none of the US goras never understood my case. I went to a doctor who turned out to be a Pakistani. Only desi folks understand our culture, food habits etc.So he gave me tips that really helped me.

I acknowledged that you as a Pakistani might have issues with India and it is your right. Likewise, if I speak against Pakistan in future, I am doing what I think is right and I speak in favor of my country. That does not mean you and I as people have problems with each other. At an individual level we all have same aspirations to do good and live well.

I remember the when the Indian cricket team went to Pakistan on tour in 2003-2004. Lots of Indians had gone to Pakistan to watch the matches, and there were many stories of Indians being invited to Pakistani homes for food - complete strangers inviting them, saying "Aap log yahaan mehmaan hai". The relationship between countries is very different from the relationship between people.
