You’re Welcome
That was nice of you to list the nice.
Why the F....Ing hell wasn't reba mcentire on the list with dolly Parton ti
Dolly Parton not being on this list kinda made the credibility of mojo slip a few notches for me
Same
WatchMojo has credibility?
Same, one I was expecting to be on this list is hayley Williams
Same
she was on the nicest celebrities list
Alice Cooper is very kind hearted. Several years ago, there was a news story about a man in Phoenix at risk of losing his house when lost his job. He painted his house into a giant Alice mural, trying to make it "unsellable." Alice caught wind of this and paid the man's mortgage in full. Very heartwarming.
Yeah ive heard quite a few stories about him being surprisingly approachable and down to earth. Which is so damn ironic as one of his iconic hits was No More Mr Nice Guy
I’ve met him, he’s a great guy.
What a saint
When Alice heard l wanted to be a rock singer, he wanted to make sure l wasn't doing it for drugs. I told him that l cannot tolerate most drugs. Paul McCarthy said he wanted to record me. If it doesn't happen, just that he knew of me was a real ego boost. So many stars are people persons.
That was so generous of Alice to give a helping hand to a person that was going to end up losing his home.
I've met Kelly Clarkson 3 times all at different points in her career and she has always been the sweetest most kind person! It's almost hard to find average people as nice as she is!
my hero.
@@clarksonsmine mine too. I love her! God bless. 🙏❤️🙏
That is very true.
Absolutely true
In the 80's I was a police officer in a city that had a concert series every year. I worked backstage for two years during the series. I was surprised by how nice most of the musicians were to me and other people. There were some exceptions and to this day I don't listen to their music. One of the nicest musicians was Barbara Mandrell. We were not allowed to talk to the musicians unless they spoke to us first and definitely were not allowed to ask for an autograph or a picture (before there were cell phones or digital cameras). While Barbara Mandrell was onstage performing I was backstage guarding her room. A gentleman approached me and we engaged in small talk. At some point, I told him that my dad loved Barbara Mandrell's music and that he would be jealous if he knew I was at her concert. After the concert was over Barbara Mandrell signed autographs for nearly two hours. When she was done signing autographs she approached me and asked if I was the police officer whose father loved her music? I said I was. She had her photographer take a picture of her and me together and then she asked for my father's address. About two weeks later my father received a package in the mail that contained that picture and another of her with a message and autograph. A class act for sure.
One I was surprised to not be on here is Brian May. He seems to be like the Tom Hanks of music, where everyone else in his industry likes him as well as all the fans.
MM's iPhone Vinyl He is such a gentle soul, also Elvis Presley should have also been on here, he had a reputation for being extremely polite and generous, there's a very touching story I heard about visiting a little girl was a big fan of his and was dying of cancer and her last request was to meet him, and he give her a kiss on each cheek and she said she didn't want to wash her face after that and her and the family got free tickets for his concert.
I was kind of surprised too. Brian May is a legend.
I would put Brian at no.1 followed by Grohl.
I agree. Dr. May is a sweet gentle genius (both musically and otherwise) who is someone you just don't hear bad things about.
Brian May, DEFINITELY.
Jon Bon Jovi is definitely the nicest rockstar from the classic 80's era.
Absolutely even John Waite is a sweetheart too

@@JaredBetts what's going on dude
@@Waaagh40KRed he's absolutely the antithesis of Axl Rose John Waite is absolutely amazing and very smart funny and sweet I can't stand Axl but my Aunt Susan loves him hey sis I love you
Not only is Weird Al super nice, but so is his drummer, Jon "Bermuda" Schwartz. I met him after a show and we had a long casual conversation.
I've heard that Iggy Pop is really chill in person. I've never personally met him, but I know a few who have.
My sister met and worked with Elton John setting up for a theater fundraiser and said he's a very friendly guy.
Bermuda is a gem.
Iggy Pop was pretty amazing in Star Trek Deep Space Nine, too. Not proof of being nice, but hey... shameless plug.
Interesting short story. My mom went to a Bruce Springsteen concert in 1989, and Bob Seger was standing right next to her. When she noticed who he was, she talked with him for most of the concert and actually got an autograph from him. She said he was one of the nicest singers she ever met, but everyone else around them noticed who he was too and began to ask for autographs too. Afterwards my mom saw him when she was leaving the show and apologized, but he smiled and said no harm done.
My grandpa used to be Weird Al’s publicist. He’s an absolute sweetheart.
Why did he fire him?
Wow
My grandfather passed away. It wasn’t a firing situation but valid question.
Three come to mind.
Dolly Parton. How could you have left her out, given her propensity for helping? She does a lot of charity work and is a nice person as well.
The late Paul O’Neill, founder of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Half the proceeds from TSO’s concerts are given to charities local to the city TSO is playing.
Bruce Cockburn. The Canadian legend has advocated for many causes, from environmental concerns to the eradication of landmines.
They have another list
One of my friends saw Paul O’Neill give $100 out of his own pocket to a woman after a show.
Dolly Parton is the queen of the nicest musicians and should have been on this list
I met Paul McCartney 8 times and he was always nice to me so it doesn’t surprise me he made the list.
You are so lucky!
How did you get to meet him? I have been a huge fan of his since 1966 and never even went to any of his concerts,He is the only celebrity i would just like to shake his hand,he was a huge influence in my life.I guees it will never happen but kudos to you !
@@jiop538 I was very lucky. The most times I met him was while I lived in England.
I came here with the expectation that Dave Grohl would be number one and was not disappointed 😌
We all did
Contary to Joss Homme the abuser
@@yudhabagaskara98 Yeah. Contrary to Josh Homme, the HIV denialist.
Oh, wait. That was Dave Grohl.
I was dissapointed that they left out MJ. Who should've been no.1
I met him once and he was utterly rude and unfriendly... He refused to give me an autograph simply because I mispronounced his surname... English is not my first language... He literally said: You say you are my fan and you don't even know how to pronounce my name! Move away dude! Him and his massive ego not so nice after all
I've met a few musicians. Brian May, Alice Cooper, Neal Smith, Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork, Davy Jones, Dennis DeYoung, Chuck Panozzo. All of them true gentlemen! Gloria Estefan, & her husband were both class acts.
i have seen Gloria Estefan in concert. I love her
What about Mike Nesmith (you met the other Monkees)
@@ericveneto1593 ,sad to say, Mike Nesmith wasn't touring with the Monkees at the time.
I had the pleasure of running into Dave Grohl on a flight a few years back and he was the nicest and most approachable celebrity I could ever imagine
I met Bono and he was incredibly nice. He took time to take photos and wrote me a two page autograph.
I saw a movie with Bono just in time for Christmas almost a week ago.
Mike Shinoda should be here. The man is a class act and doesn't have that 'do you know who I am?' air about him at all.
Also, no Brian May?
Where is Michael Jackson or Shakira? Michael Jackson was incredibly humble and kind not just with fans but basically with any form of life he stumbled across throughout his 50 years in this planet Earth.
They didn't put MJ because of the false allegations
Many people thought MJ was a bad person
But he wasn't
He was a person who wanted to make the world a better place
He was a humanitarian
He was the best
He is the King of Everything
he was a pedophile.
Michael Jackson humble? He built a giant statue of himself and called himself " the king of pop".

Bruce Cockburn, a long time famous Canadian musician and humanitarian, played a small venue in Belleville, Ontario a few years ago. After the show he invited the audience to stick around. He signed a dvd he had on sale for me, shook my hand, asked about my disability (Orthopedic surgeries left me crippled) and chatted with me for several minutes. Made me feel wonderful and was genuine in his caring.
"Weird Al" Yankovic may be only your number three in this list, but he will always be number one with his many fans -- and with me. He's such a great musician, and an incredibly nice guy.
Ditto!
Number 1 has to be Al, He asks stars permission to parody their songs, When turned down by Lady Gaga, apparantely it was her now ex-agent who did so & never told her, her fans told her to let him as its the best thing she could ever do. and she agreed. Shakes hands with all staff every theatre he plays in, & doesnt have to give his loose tax refundable change to charity to prove it!
I had the privilege of hanging out with Weird Al when he came to Wild Adventures in Valdosta Georgia back in the late 1990's. He was riding the rides. I was lucky to have been seated next to him on one of the rides. We spoke after I sat down. When I asked him if he was Weird Al. He said yes. After the ride, he asked me to hang out. We rode every ride in the park until he had to get ready for his show. Thank you Weird Al for giving me a memory I will never forget. You should have been number one on this list. It sucks that you're not number one.
Some that should be at least mentioned:
- Brian May
- Serj Tankian
- Lzzy Hale
- Caleb Shomo
- Mike Shinoda
- Chester Bennington
- Dee Snyder
- M Shadows
- Dolly Parton
- David Draiman
- Ivan Moody (I know this one from personal experience)
- Sully Erna
- Dimebag Darrell
I'm not very fond of Ivan Moody, even though I do believe in your personal experience. I love Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington, long live Linkin Park. Huge SOAD and Pantera fan as well, so yeah Serj and Dime are decent mentions. I would have included both Michael and Janet Jackson as well, humble, down-to-earth and willing to help others.
If deceased musicians count, then Michael Jackson would be on the list.
Despite the controversy, the late King of Pop seems like he wouldn't hurt a fly or scream (no pun) at anyone.
@Barry Katz You not gonna believe those stories or Martin Basheer, are u?
Look, I wasn't a fan of Jackson's music. He is very talented and seems like a kind individual.
I don't know. Something tells me that the dumb media and that fake documentary wanted to maintain MJ's controversy.
Yeah one time on stage he saw a bug and instead of killing it he call security to take it off stage so no one squish it.
@Barry Katz he was proven innocent and there has never been found any real proof.
He is innocent and stop spreading lies unless you have invested yourself in the truth.
@@jeroenboth167 that's the problem with sexual abuse cases. He said / she said. Those cases are extremely hard to prove. Which is why so few come forward afterwards. I'm not saying I think he was guilty but I don't know if there was no truth to the allegations. The bottom line is that we will never know the truth one way or another. But I will say if there was truth to the allegations, then their parents are just as guilty for allowing it to happen
@Barry Katz Cool, so surely there's some evidence if that's the case, right?
I swear if Dave Grohl is not this list...I mean, he's cited as "The nicest guy in rock" for a reason.
Edit: Dave's at #1! I salute you, WatchMojo! ✌🏾
To me it's actually Mustaine
Dave Grohl was on the top 20 nicest celebrities list.
Lzzy Hale from Halestorm is one of the kindest human beings I’ve ever met. Before Halestorm got huge, me and my friend literally sat at the merch booth with her and the band and just chatted throughout a Shinedown set. Later, I got to meet her again at a two day fest. I told her what it was like for me again and she literally made me remember why I absolutely adore her. She is my idol.
It has to be Weird Al Yankovic for me. What a terrific guy. I'll never grow tired of him or his music for he that is tired of Weird Al is tired of life
Al certainly is a nice and genuine person. He always clears it with someone before he spoofs them.
I once hung out with Paul McCartney at O'Flatorys Irish Pub in New Orleans over 20 years ago and it was a amazing experience singing Irish folk songs and bought him a Gunniss beer and he bought me a Ace Pear cider.
Sounds like a cool experience. I live in Liverpool (am literally 5mins walk from both his main statue and the Cavern Club) so hes a total God here, but though hes spotted here every now and again ive never seen him.
It's nice to hear that their are nice celebrities out there.
They give money.
@@Rekko82 what do u mean
@@charfree6888 They are nice if they give millions of dollars.
Weird Al definitely deserves to be on this list.
Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam is a pretty awesome guy, a golden heart. He has given so very much!! Alot of their concerts he donated money to the homeless and to veterans and many many more causes plus totally involved in saving the earth and oceans. He is one of the nicest guys, very humble. Thank you. 😊💓✌️🤘
Trueeeee... I also happened to meet him by pure luck in Berlin years ago, the day before a Pearl Jam concert scheduled there. I was with a friend (we both have been Pearl Jam fans for decades and he is my favourite singer ever) visiting a small museum/cafè dedicated to Ramones. Eddie was there with his bodyguard. I couldn't believe my eyes, trust me! I spoke to him and he replied kindly and was not bothered at all. I asked him "Can I hug you?" and he smiled and let me hug him. Later on other PJ fans arrived and through word of mouth in a half an hour another dozen people gathered there. Eddie chatted with us and was super super friendly and I had a feeling that he truly respects his fans, which is awesome. I also heard several anectodes like this from friends of mine.
@@valentinabernocco4206 WOW!! That is awesome @Valentina your are very lucky!! I watched many many Pearl Jam concerts read alot of comments and 100% of the people that was fortunate to meet Eddie all said he was very nice and humbling and loves his fans. The only person missing from this list is Avi Kaplan. He's the nicest guy I've ever had the pleasure of hearing and seeing in person. Love that man.
If Alice Cooper isn’t on here I’ll be greatly disappointed
Edit:you win this one, watchmojo
How was Michael Jackson not on here? Guy barely even cursed😂
I do think that he should've been included on the list. But, sadly, I think that the controversies that have surronded him (unfairly) are what have prevented his inclusion.
And he holds the guiness for most charitable celebrity ever
Eddie Vedder could have been too, he donated alot
Yeah, even though I'm not a huge Foo Fighters fan, Dave Grohl is one badass human being. Adding to all that, he also frequently stops his show to see if someone is hurt or to kick out someone who's fighting in the audience
Same, I don't listen to Food Fighters really, but Dave seems like a solid dude.
The only one missing is Kelly Clarkson!! Weird Al has always come off a super and genuinely nice guy. Dave Grohl should definitely be number 1
I got to meet Alice Cooper in 1977 in a hotel liquor store sans makeup. I was buying chips and a soda and he was walking in with a girl- don't know who it was-
I reached out to shake his hand and said, "You're Alice Cooper." He shook my hand and said, "Thank you, yes I am." I walked away smiling.
From what i hear id love to meet him. Not a huge fan, but one story id tell him was how as a kid, id always be singing Poison on the 80s edition of that Singstar Karaoke game 😂
What about Ringo Starr? He's always flashing the peace sign and talking about peace and love. One of the nicest musicians in my opinion.
He even narrated Thomas the Tank Engine and played Mr Conductor in Shining Time Station.

My friend once came to Devin Towsend gig and brought all of his records, but decided to get signature on only one. Devin looked at him, and told him "we can stay here all night, but I will sign each one them".
When I started watching the video I thought of Devin Townsend and to see him in the honorable mentions blew me away. He isn’t main stream but he is the most genuine musician I have ever met.
How refreshing to hear good things about musicians for a change! Thank you, MOJO!
Our pleasure!
Great picks! A lot of my favorites are on there! I saw Weird Al in concert in October, and he was really nice and engaging. Also, what about Hilary Duff? She seems nice.
Devin Townsend deserves way more than an honorable mention.
you know Joan Jett, duff Mckagen, kirk Hamette, and Steven Adler are the nicest Rockstar's ever know to man kind
Joan Jett I can see as she helps out with Little Kids Rock which promotes music education with children. Duff also seems like a nice guy and I'd be surprised to not see Slash on any lists since he also supports Little Kids and cares about animal conservation and is supposedly known for being very humble
@@tierefuerimmer9635 thank you for letting me know I knew I was missing someone I couldn't figure it out
I have been a fan of Weird Al Yankovic since I was a kid in the 80's, I have seen him in concert probably 5 times. The first time, was at Foxwoods in CT, It was 15 years ago I believe, so my wife and I were eating at The California Pizza Kitchen, while we were waiting for our food, Al walks in and goes to the counter to get an order. He didn't have anyone with him, he didn't send someone to get it, he strolls in to pick it up. My wife said go and talk to him, I didn't want to bother him, she said he's with anyone, he's not eating dinner, So I did. I told him I have been a fan since I was a kid and how great he was, he shook my hand was very humble, he thank me, I don't think selfies were even a thing, but he autographed my ticket, he was just nice a down to Earth.
Great video! Please do Top 20 Nicest Celebrities Who've Sadly Passed Away.
that would be a good list
Tom Petty
We all know for sure Robin Williams would be on this list! Right?
I met Wierd Al before a concert and was able to ride up a Gondola with him. He shook my hand and even invited me to go back stage with him, but Security stopped me. After his concert, he pulled me up to the stage to thank me for being there for him. A few years later...I attended his concert again at the Interstate Fair. He came down into the audience. I was standing close to the aisle and when he saw me...he stopped the concert to shake my hand and give me a hug. I was so amazed he remembered me!!!
You're so lucky!
I met Mick Jones from the Clash back in 2004, at The Elgin pub, Ladbroke Grove, London. Super nice and friendly. Same with the late Jaki Liebezeit from Can. Depeche Mode's Alan Wilder and his now ex-wife Hep were super cool too. Met them on a cold, early morning in a nearly deserted area of Richmond, February 2005. 😎
What about Kelly Clarkson has anyone said anything about her she's one of the most down-to-earth people in Hollywood gives tons of money away and always comments nice things and people's post
Jon Bon Jovi is so sweet! I'm a huge fan of him and he has to be the kindest celebrity I have ever known. I really want to meet him in person and tell him I love him so much.
Alice Cooper is a awesome and nice guy
Before watching this video I though Weird Al or Dave Grohl is going to be number 1, Mr Grohl is the Keanu Reeves of rock :)
Adam Lambert. Always so polite, patient and worm with his fans.
This list was amazing, but if could add Eddie Vedder, an incredible person. A genuine as they get, he'll sit at the bar with you and watch a ballgame, or put on a free show on the Waveland Ave after a Cubs game. True Rockstar.
So true, you gotta love Eddie!
Bon Jovi was my first concert ever. And I was born in the 90s! He's a music genius and a true gem. And his band should have been inducted into the Rock n Roll hall of fame way before they were.
Mark Foster of Foster The People is a fantastic person that took the time to talk to me for hours after a FTP show at a local restaurant. He gave me a signed vinyl from the tour bus and gave me a short tour of the bus with a couple drinks. I didn't have VIP tickets or anything, we just struck up a conversation about his wife's performance in Ozark, and the night took us where-ever. Didn't seem like I was chillin' with an internationally recognized lead singer of one of my favorite bands.
I'm a professional musician in the Phoenix area.
George Benson lives here, comes out to hear live music frequently. Everyone has a photo with him. He's 100% down to earth and genuine. Very likeable.
He's not a musician, but my band was contracted to do a promotional event for Crystal Head vodka a few years ago. Dan Aykroyd is a part-owner and he came up and sang a few songs with us. Totally cool guy, laid back, non-pretentious.
This video makes me happy! There ARE good people out there.
Les Claypool was super nice & just as wonderfully eccentric as you'd expect. He's like an uncle with stories to tell & makes you part of the conversation
I met Weird Al at a Beck show -- we were standing next to each other in the pit, and chatted on-and-off throughout the show. I can confirm that he is a TOTAL sweetheart!
Cyndi Lauper is also one of the most down to musicians ever. I'll never forget when she was on the celebrity apprentice. There was this challenge where the had to ask there coworkers and colligues for money to create something I can't remember what it was. Cyndi couldn't do that. And trump was berating her hard for it. Her response was I don't have rich friends that i can go and just ask for 10k whenever i want to. So that to me showed me how down to earth and just humble she is for her fame and how she never forgot where she came from. How much she still cares about her friends she already had. Also shes a HUGE supporter of the LGBTQ+. She Co-founded the true colors tour in 2007 and 1 dollar from every ticket went to the human rights campaign. Devoted a concert in Matthew Shepards memory, a gay teen who was beaten, tortured and left to die, just because he was gay. And started true colors united in 2008 to help homeless LGBTQ+ teens, along with the true colors residence which gave them temporary shelter and job placement help. She is just an incredible person
I met Alex Lifeson from Rush once and he spent a good ten minutes talking to me and my kids ,what a nice bloke he is
I had a chance to spend some time with "Weird Al" Yankovic a few years back. He's not only very nice, he's extremely intelligent and quick-witted.
Where is Michael Jackson?! He donated over 500$ dollars to charity and he is noted in Guinness World Records for the breadth of his philanthropic work.
And his bed to underage boys
Now this is an awesome and accurate list. Nice to see "good" celebrities instead of the arrogant side of Hollywood.
I met Donny Osmond after seeing him in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway and he was such a nice guy and just adored his fans those who had seen the show. Two weeks later I saw him going into the theater for the night's show and he was talking to fans and taking photos to the point where his crew had to remind him he had a show to put on. He was shaking hands and giving well wishes as the stage door closed.
A friend of mine used to live in Phoenix. Alice's restaurant sponsored her son's baseball team. She said at the end 9f every season Alice and his wife invited the team and their families to a cookout at his house and she said you could not ask to meet a more down to earth person.
And while I'm not a Nirvana or Foo Fighters fan, I have heard countless stores of the kindness Dave has shown his fans.
I am a 80s hairband girl and thrash fan and I have met just about every 80s metal band. I can attest to the fact that Jon Bonjovi is a very kind person. 99% of the musicians I have met have been some of the nicest people you will ever meet. But the late Ronnie Dio stood out in a group of truly kind guys. According to Tom Ayara from Slayer he would come of the bus every night and talk to fans until the last one left. He thanked every single person for coming out and was very down to earth.
Thank you for mentioning Freddie! He is always in the first spot for me.
How awesome it is to be nice and kind also spreading positive energy
Kelly Clarkson is one of the nicest musician y'all! The most real and genuine. Not just a great singer-songwriter, incredible host, coach and author but also a philanthropist. She's just insanely talented woman yet so down to earth.
I met, John Michael Montgomery, back in the 90s - he was a doll and a perfect gentleman.
I also got to meet the drummer for, Ministry & REM, Bill Rieflin. He was so soft spoken & humble. He passed away last year.
Was sad to hear that Bill went, sadly i never got to see REM but from live vids I thought he did a great job covering the old material.
Charitable doesn't always equal nice.
My thoughts exactly. It was weird how that seemed to get confused here.
Thank you. They missed their topic
Devin Townsend. Mojo, someone did their homework. I am kinda new to him and his music. He seems authentic and his CZcams presence seems to back that up. The genuine good vibes from the Charismatic Voice’s reaction to Devin’s Lockdown performances or just him in general is a real treat to watch (especially her video watching Why?) Great list.
these people are a perfect example of how well unproblematic people age. weird al is 62, paul mccartney is 79, and bruce springsteen is 72 but none of them look older than 40-45
Thank you Watch Mojo for giving an honorable mention to one of the most genuine people on this planet, Devin Townsend. He is without a doubt an inspiration to me.
I met Brett Michaels from Poison years ago,and he was super nice. Also met Davey Jones years ago before he died. Met him at a supermarket. He had moved to my small town and often shopped at the same grocery store I did, also super nice. :)
After a Weird Al concert here in Melbourne Florida at the King Center a bunch of us were hanging around the fence where the tour buses were parked hoping maybe Al would give us an autograph. A security guard came up and asked us to follow him. He led us to a side door and told us to remain single file and try to be quiet. He then took us inside and there in a break room/eating area was Al seated at a table with a chair next to him. He invited each person to come over, sit down and talk to them one on one. He gave autographs, took pictures, but was never “Here you go, next”. He took time with each person and this was after having just having performed a full set. The man is a treasure.
Brian johnson from acdc should be here, hes a really nice and humble guy. He hasnt let the fame get to his head and is still going after 40 years.
I hope Weird Al keeps going for a very long time. His songs never fail to make me smile.
Dave Grohl definitely deserved that #1 spot. Well done.
Of all the musicians I've met, there's three that come to mind. Eric Singer is very cool and down to Earth; we walked through a casino for 20 minutes after an Alice Cooper show chatting about Black Sabbath and nickel slots. Lennon Murphy opened for Alice Cooper and spent a good chunk of the night hanging out with fans, including myself. Finally, the late Kevin Dubrow from Quiet Riot. I caught QR with Dokken and Slaughter in 2006, and Kevin not only chatted with a few of us during Dokken's set, but also told us how to get to the complimentary sandwich room for the band and told us to come eat with him. Class act.
You always kinda get the feeling with Dave Grohl that every now & again he wakes up and questions if he's dreaming, but is nice to everyone to keep the good vibes working for him - tell you what though, his bandmate Chris Shifflet is one of the nicest guys in music as well!
One band who deserves a mention is Living Colour. Ask anyone who's ever seen them, they've never hesitated to interact with their fans either before or after their shows. They're known to spend hours after shows talking with fans about anything. Yes, they're not known for millions of record sales, but they have done many benefits for charities through the years. They're one of those bands other musicians hold in high regard. If you do a part two, maybe consider them, as well! Keep up the good work!
Just saw Al a month ago for my first concert. Guy was funny as hell and put on a spectacle of a show. Good time all around.
this guy isn’t even remotely famous, but i got to meet Cody Canada 2x. both times were in Frisco, Colorado. truly one of the kindest, most down to earth, and outright caring musicians i have ever met. my dad and i actually ran into him in the bathroom immediately after his show, and he took the time to chat with every single guy in the bathroom before and after using the restroom 🤣 and then proceeded to take pictures with every fan that requested one. loving dude, and incredibly talented; hope he is doing well and succeeding 💯
Leo Sayer came through a theatre bar before his show. Happy to chat and take pictures.
Not surprised to see Weird Al on this list. He is really a nice guy in real life.
facts. but i was shocked these bums even forgot about Michael Jackson.
That's awesome that they gave Devin Townsend an honorable mention. He seems like a genuine
Dude.
Yay, Freddie mercury! Love him 💘
Dave grohl is such generous human being
Dave is the Keanu Revves of musicians
@@johnteki absolutely a great guy who said Mick Jones of the Clash and BAD aka big audio dynamite I heard that he's a cool dude and Joan Jett is a sweetheart too
Dave at No.1, Devy getting an honorable mention. Good stuff.
I've Met Devin Townsend At A Meet And Greet Nicest Guy I've Ever Meet
Good list, but if you do another top 10 or top 20 please include Brian May!
Gloria Estefan is also one of the nicest people ever.
I have been watching videos of Taylor Swift, Hailee Steinfeld and Selena Gomez. When the fans see them and asks them for a picture or Autograpgh. They were so down to earth and nice Celebrities. They make time for their fans.
If you look at small or to medium-sized bands, most musicians are pretty kind people, if you don't treat them that like they own you anything just because you are a fan. I have a lot of bands interact with their fans and it is clear that they are really happy to see their fans, and wouldn't mind a small conversation if the timing is right and I have friends who have interviewed artists, had a drink with them and they all say the same: they are generally speaking kind people. That all said, if you bother an artist in their free time and keep bothering them, they likely will snap but who won't? So based on what I've seen and heard, most smaller artists are very nice people.
Lady Gaga is a kindest musician too 🙂❤️
Miss George Michael. From everything I’ve heard he was super nice. Plus I’ve met Michael Feinstein many times. He is amazing. No matter how tired he is he always spends time with everyone after the show signing autographs, talking, taking pictures. Can’t say enough good things about him.
David Gilmour of Pink Floyd belongs on this list. A close friend of mine knows him and spent a lot of time with him during the 70s. Gilmour is already known for being generous but it runs a LOT DEEPER than you've ever heard.
