I saw a lot of highlights of Halep's matches, broadcast by WTA on CZcams and I noticed something that bothered me a little, namely: exposing the successes of its opponents in an excessive way, practically minimizing all the effort and performance of Halep.
It does not seem fair!
I congratulate Halep for the good game she played today and for not giving up physically and, especially, mentally.

The highlight shows the brilliant shots, if you watched the game you’d see halep won because of consistency not brilliance per se. Jabeur was not consistent and made many mistakes, but her tennis is much more brilliant in my opinion

Yeah, the editing has been lole this for a while. All you see are her opponents shots but she beats the girl with double bagels 🤔 not this match specifically, just how it feels when I see the match "highlights".
Ons drop shot is amazing. If Simona doesn't go for it, you know its dang good because Simona has some wheels on her.
Simo forced 90% of ons unenforced errors. She's such a mover you have to risk it for a biscuit or you go home. She's really enjoyable to watch player.

Nothing went down other than what you saw on the highlights. It was Ons unforced Errors vs Ons Winners. Halep did nothing special other than defending and hitting back the ball. NOTHING SPECIAL.

look at the game stats. Ons Jabeur had the most winners, maybe 25 against 10. Halep won because she made fewer unforced errors. it was about 10 against 40 maybe. that's why Halep won. unfortunately many gifts from Ons. The highlights show the best points or rallies, not a simple hit in the net. and this showed who played better overall. Ons played much better than Halep. but Halep made fewer mistakes.

weird highlights at the beginning... they showed 9 points from Jabeur and only 1 from Halep, even though the score was Halep 5x2. kinda gives the wrong impression of the set...

I always enjoy watching Simona win but who uploaded these highlights? I watched it back and counted the points shown here. Simona won in straight sets and they showed 24 points here. Showing 6 points won by Simona and 18 by Jabeur. What is going on? Is there some sort of bias against Simona?
There is bias. Always hv been! Who is simo; in their heads, smo from a poor, insignificant, ex-communist country like ROMANIA? For most of us, simo is the most consistant player OVERALL! And the 3rd player in winnings - after williams sis.; sooooo money-wise, simo is at the top, given her small frame, power & where she comes from!! Good on ya Simo! Just relax, focus & execute!

Watching Ons Jabeur playing Simona Halep in Madrid right now and I must say Jabeur has gotten a lot better since last years clay court season. I’m pulling hard for Pegula or Anisimova to win this tournament but Jabeur will be tough to beat playing as well as she is.

Ons had the most winners. HALEP had the points from Ons's unforced errors. Ons was the one attacking. But Halep defended well, making Jabeur frustrated and leading her to unforced errors. ons had most of the best points. and that's exactly what should be in the highlights, not a simple unintentional unforced point.

Nothing is new, in 2019 Halep wins Wimbledon with a world record of 3 unforced errors against 26 of Serena Williams and was 6-2 6-2 ! Not making errors means total control of the body ! And something that not more realised Halep is one of the best hitter in movement not in static positions because she has a very good cover of the court and she has timing !

Jabeur is a Genius In my opinion ! Her tennis is so entertaining. I think the problem is the resilience and stamina, she doesn’t fight as hard when the score difference is big.

If I blocked out the scorecard and just watched the highlights, I’d be convinced Jabeur won this match, or at least lost in a tight 3-setter. Strange editing to make Halep look like she was on the back foot for most of the match, when she actually won easily in straight sets.

Ons if she doesn’t get another attitude and more tennis she will dip this year in the rankings! This one trick drop shot isn’t getting anywhere and she as a lot of points from the previous year
I didn't see the match but from this highlight clip and the commentary's thoughts we heard here, it seemed like the drop shot was working and incredible magic from Jabeur. And then she lost. So, while it probably is pretty magical, something else is needed because she still lost.
@@captainKbobkeeshan I think she needs to enjoy more be on court ( she looks angry all the time or over it ) then I think she should be more aggressive and play the point more because even if the drop shot works at times it also makes your opponent be closer to the baseline waiting for it so they get the ball earlier. Great example was Murray he used to do it very often and then stop doing it so much and the huge results come up

Al final del segundo set Jabeur estaba ya jadeando y respirando por la boca. El fisico de Jabeur, a diferencia del de Halep, deja mucho que desear.
Viene de una lesión que la ha dejado un mes sin competir. Le falta ritmo. No lo ha hecho nada mal, teniendo en cuenta las circunstancias.
