Hamhuis was always one of my favourite Canucks when he played for us. Those hip checks were so fantastic until that one ill-fated one. But that's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes... hope Canucks fans get to see a good result on Friday!
dan looks like he could suit up for game 6. small town B C is a great place to raise kids.
Thanks Hammer
Awesome hamhuis was awesome
Always enjoyed watching Hammie in Nashville. Thank you Dan for the enjoyment and your hard work and effort.
Sports page for life Donnie, but now it Hammertime!
Still got Dan’s Jersey!!
Always liked this guy, good to see a Canadian hockey star come back and give back to the community that made him who he is.
Iv'e learned the canucks never do anything easy but i support this team til the day i die 😂
Yeah, I've tried to quit this team so many times over the last 40 years but you can never truly get away. We Canuck fans are just suckers for punishment.
I think they will lose this series. In 7 games. It's the canuck way.
@@Nickh4929 they have better luck in nashville now we have to watch all the children cry during the hand shakes on friday 😂
But i cried in 94 and i was 19 😂
I was 10 then and that Jim Robson call for the winning goal of game 5 vs the Leafs is burned into my brain

Love me some Hamhuis, he's probably my 4th favorite of the 2011 Damn (Edler, Juice and Salo ahead of him)
Glad to see Hammy back, still got that knack for saying the right words in interviews! 😄 Also, I was hoping to ask him a question about Ty Young G prospect we got there but oh well
As a PG Cougar fan I can say he had a good season this year and definitely helped the team earn their #1 CHL ranking. The team evenly split the load this regular season between Young and their 17 year old goalie Ravensbergen, but for the playoffs Ravensbergen has been given most of the starts as he was 24-4-2 while Young was 23-11-2. Young's only played 3 playoff games so far but he has a .938 save % and may get the start tonight after the Cougars lost the last two games against Portland.
Of course for goalies, good junior play doesn't always translate into a good AHL or NHL goalie so who ultimately knows? But with the team having the best goalie coach in the league with Ian Clark, we shouldn't make any real assessments until Clark gets a hold of him.
Thank you Dan, for telling the people that the low shot totals don't tell the entire picture of the game. Both teams are playing well defensively. This obsession with shot totals is excessive imo.
When Big Z makes those rushes where he tries to go end to end, it reminds me a little of the The Bird aka Larry Robinson back in the day.
God I have been groaning all day.
Friday we'll be cheering 🎉
I was born in Smithers too but nobody cares
Guess you're not the pride of Smithers. :(
"Smithers" sounds like a Simpson character
