    Cole wasn't a passenger! He was a stowaway that did pay his fare. He played as if he bet against his own team!

    I kind of wish Boudreau was still in the org in some capacity

    Mikheyev. Did he even throw any hits or take a shot on goal? He's quieter than a church mouse.

    Remember Brock Boeser mentioned that he had worked with someone in the off-season to get his head in the right place? I think Pettersson needs someone to do the same for him - unless he is dealing with a serious injury that the team is not disclosing, his struggles seem to be between his ears. There is no question that the talent is there, and based on what Bruce Boudreau and others who had worked with him had commented, I don't want to question his desire and heart either - his struggles most likely are mental.

    Remeber when ads where shown during commercial breaks? Not after the commercial break and during the show we get non stop ads.

    So is "The Team" the name of the show? Or the name of the duo of Donnie and Dhali? Or is it a reference to the Canucks? Or maybe the old radio station?

    Pete might have depression or something mental, he doesn’t look happy, in interviews his answers are just short and done, they way he plays he doesn’t seem to care, you can’t forget talent, he doesn’t want to be there in Vancouver, there is something not right

    I wish Bruce Boudreau could help Petey in some capacity. He was really good at getting Petey out of his slump and helped unlock his full potential.

    I would trade Demko and Petterssen to Ottawa for Brady Tkachuk and Jakob Chychrun. That would get Petterssen's contract off the books and get a player with heart back.

    • @StreetFig
      @StreetFig Před 28 dny

      There's no way they trade Demko. On most nights, he's their best player, definitely one of the best goalies in the league

    It would be nice if the Canucks stopped making average and below average goalies look like Vezina finalists. Saros is a good NHL goalie, but they just need to get pucks on net against Pickard. As soon as they actually tried doing that the puck started going in for them. Even Hughes was stinking it up for most of the last game, to the point where the Oilers didn't even bother targeting him for most of the game.

    Average shot totals per game is 31-20 for Edmonton. The grade a scoring chances are also heavily in Edmonton's favour for each game. The Oilers would probably already have the w if it wasn't for the Canucks miracle goalie.

    • @Kitosworld
      @Kitosworld Před 28 dny +3

      This is how Canucks played all year, so shots not a concern, look even with oilers shooting lot more do they have more goals? Through 4 games both teams have scored 14 goals each, so shots not a factor

      @@Nickh4929 Who gives a flying F about the return. The most important thing is getting rid of his cap hit. However, if they can package Pettersson+Hronek+picks for Brady Tkachuck, that would be nice.

    Canucks will need more than 20 shots on goal lol. They did this to themselves. This as in lack of goals. Trading 39 goal scorer Kuzmenko was a huge mistake. Sure Lindholm brings defense but that means nothing if you can't score.
