  • Get ready to check out the unbelievable floating city being built in South Korea. With earth's rising sea levels and increasing extreme weather events the world is seeing more and more settlements floating on water. Some more luxurious than others but all are about sustainability. There’s no wonder more people are choosing the surf and not the turf, with coastal cities facing complex changes. A new vision is needed that allows people, nature, and technology to live in harmony. 'There is no better place than Busan for Korea to build a sustainable human settlement on the ocean,' said Busan Mayor Park Heong-joon. Floating cities might not only be able to save humanity but can also help reduce the effects of global warming by being sustainable. Here is the unbelievable floating city in South Korea and so much more!

    Successful people don't become that way overnight. What most people see at a glance wealth, a great career, purpose is the result of hard work and hustle over time. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

    When ice melts in a cup of water the water level remains the same so it’s funny when I here someone says “ the scientists claim the coast will rise” 😂

    • @bryan123483
      @bryan123483 Před 2 lety

      Really? In the glass, the ice is already displacing water. Ice is water so of course the water level won't rise.
      This has nothing to do with, what i think you're referring to, glaciers melting into the ocean. The water from the glaciers melts then runs into the ocean. It's a completely different scenario.
      If you melt an ice cube outside the glass of water then add the water to the glass, the water level will rise.

    • @Mansamu
      @Mansamu Před 2 lety

      so imagine you put sand in ridges all in a big pot, then add water to submerge it all. take some of the water out so that you can see the land. and then freeze the water you took out then place them on the land. The sand is denser than ice so the land is holding the ice up and the water level doesnt rise, but the water is there. once the ice metls, it will be filled again. do you get it now?

    • @RealNyeTheScienceGuy

    • @bryan123483
      @bryan123483 Před 2 lety

      @@RealNyeTheScienceGuy Ice melts into the ocean. You're thinking that all this ice is just floating in the ocean. That's not how it is. Remember how glaciers shape the earth over millions of years? It's not because they all are just floating in the water. They cover the land.

    • @RealNyeTheScienceGuy
      @RealNyeTheScienceGuy Před 2 lety

      @@Mansamu I get it, you don’t…. What you’re telling me is the assumption that scientists made. They made it 30 years ago 70 years ago 100 years ago Etc… what you fail to realize is none of the coast lines are rising and if you do about an hour worth of research you will find most have been receding for the last few thousand years. The ice sheets will never melt!
