That's the point, aside from that one time where she broke up with him, she's really patient with Sheldon. And even though she's the considered the newest person in their circle of friends, Amy knows Sheldon better than the others, even Leonard.

this is something i don't like about the show (one of many many other things). i don't like how they make fun of sheldon not wanting to have sex. it doesn't matter how old you are, a lot of people don't want to have sex or have more issues with being physically intimate. and not having sex doesn't mean that your relationship isn't real or valid.
agree about the last part, but this show was also about more than one person, Amy wanted more intimacy, while not pushing the issue for the most part. Amy isn't making fun of Sheldon, and nobody on the show really judges Sheldon about his "deal"... they make jokes (because this is a comedy) but they don't really judge, just state observations and comment. I love this show, simply because among all the sitcoms ever made, it's quite possibly the longest lasting show that had actual character growth season to season.(with the exception of Raj, who is ultimately just a pure loser of a character, fun on a per episode basis, but when you look at him in the big picture, just a pos character) I cannot think of another sitcom that did that... Seinfeld had the exact same characters in the season finale as the first episode... Friends flanderized pretty much everyone after the fifth season... Cheers had a guy who was supposedly a sex fiend, take longer to get his first kiss with the "will they or won't they option" than Leonard did with Penny. etc.... I think ultimately this is why the show worked, many sitcoms reach season 4 or 5 and they realize they have to stop growing and then stagnate (look at Roseanne.... a show set up for character growth, and of course they then decided to stagnate the cast)
I'm one of the people who followed the show because of how much I related to Sheldon, especially in situations like this, and I always hated how his friends were always making fun of him or shaming him, because OCD, Autism traits (and Autism), abstinence, and even asexuality are real things, and people should be able to live their lives without being shamed for them. Most of the times I felt bad for Sheldon, of course, he was arrogant and oblivious at times, but his friends never guided him otherwise, the only people who would guide him to understand people better were Amy (, in fact, she showed him a great lesson in the finale), and penny whenever she was portrayed like a good friend to him, everyone else would just laugh at him, make jokes, and even tried to avoid him as much as possible.
I don't think Sheldon's portrayal is great especially in the early seasons. But at least it was a portrayal of someone who is asexual. And that is insanely rare on television. Sometimes baby steps are helpful even if not perfect.
All the characters in big bang theory, or a very well written. Without the talents, other writers that show would not have been on the air for 12 years. Sheer fact that all of the actors stayed together in the shell for 12 years. Was also a tribute to the genius of the show
Second time for what? Seriously im really confused by the title. Is it supposed to be click bait or does that have a different meaning than the one i thought?
A high dice roll usually means a favorable or more fortuitous outcome for an action being attempted. From that you could probably assume where he ended up nibbling.

Nico Penny and Amy knows Sheldon in a different way but im pretty sure both knows Sheldon best
@Christian Ramirez Penny is more like a sister and amy is his girlfriend (or later wife)

Amy is my most favorite because she relaxes Sheldon
