Thank you for bringing up several good points. I have to say that I disagree with the one at the 1:30 mark, though, where you say that there's no need to bend or crouch down when interacting with a person with a disability. I much prefer interacting with folks who get on my level instead of looming over me. This is really no different from able-bodied people who encounter each other in seated situations, like when one is sitting on the couch or at a table in a restaurant. It's common for the person who joins them to come sit next to them rather than standing over them and I'm sure it makes the conversation more comfortable for both of them. If you sit or squat or kneel to speak with me, you're going to stand out from the crowd and I'm going to think well of you, remember you, and look forward to interacting with you again in the future. My two cents.

Thanks so much for watching! Are there other topics around disability inclusion training that you'd like to see?

The only thing I would take a contention to with this, is the fact that several lawsuits have been filed against restaurants for not having proper bathroom access. Show us a business owner you may get nervous. There's a lawyer named Morris marbling in California who is caused many businesses to close down do the Ada violations. I'm not saying that bathroom shouldn't be appropriate for all that go in, but in most cases it was things like a mirror are not being quite right.

I don't really like to say my chair is a part of body but it is my property so still don't touch

Unfortunately this is true LOL I'm in a wheelchair and despite the fact my wife and I have been together for almost 16 years people assume she's my caretaker when we go into stores... my wife is quite beautiful so I guess they assume she is just there to take care of me it's actually kind of humorous sometimes she'll bend down and kiss me and people's reactions are like we just did something scandalous.... instead of being offended I've actually started to be highly amused
