Thank you so much Kellan for the useful and informative review! God bless and good luck!
Thanks brother. Such a infirmative and helpful review. 🙏
Great video bro , got to the key points
I love the A7III I rented the a7IV and I couldn’t notice a big difference in video quality basically the same.
Thanks for your support and insight on Sony A7III. I purchased it today.
I currently use the a6300. I feel like I want to improve my work. I’ve been looking into this camera. Thanks for this review. It convinced me to look into this camera further
As someone who’s interested in upgrading from A6100 APS-C sensor camera to A7 III, was the shutter fail rate common and is it present in recently produced examples of the A7 III? I’m interested in buying as I can get one for a very good price very lightly used (5000 shutter count)
You're right it's competing up to this day, one of Sony's most hands-on camera
Great review of a slightly older body in 2023! I'm looking to replace my old Pentax K20d and Sony G7X with a full frame that I can take hill running and also shoot dogs in the outdoors with. I had been swaying towards the A7iv, and also the new Lumix S5ii, but the A7iii is so appealing and the money saved on the body could go towards higher quality glass. Weather sealing is important to me as well.
I've absolutely loved it. It's a really great option
Thanks for this compendious & comprehensive presentation
Nice review ! Is that the capital in Albany NY at 6:44 ? Beautiful place
If you are looking for a photo centric full frame camera , this one provides great bang for your buck , particularly if you are willing to buy used . For the money , I can't think of a camera that beats it for features , performance , and the available lenses .
I am an enthusiast on a budget and I am seriously considering ditching my Canon dslrs for one .
I've had mine for 5 years and still going strong.
I just bought one for $500 and it came with a lens and an extra battery. I don't regret one bit.
Where the heck did you find one for that price?
My guess is probably facebook marketplace
@@demoiwright4031 Yeah, it was a used one, but it still works fine.
Steal
howwww i cant find anything used under 1800 bucks. what was your shutter count?
I like the size and you said it's good in low light Also all those focus points seems like it would be good for capturing birds in flight. Has anyone used it for bird photography?
Great video. It’s now December and one is having some great sales on the A7iii. I think it was camera and 28-70 lenses for $1400. Wondering if it will be phased out and this is clearance. Is the autofocus fast enough for catching up with wildlife? I’ve seen some videos saying it is slow.
Where did you see that sale?
@@PopLifeCreative was actually $1499. My error. It was the price at all stores that sold Sony. Plus I received Sony adds in Facebook. Was the price through 12/31.
I think you missed mentioning an important point -- that there is no gyro-based stabilization in A7iii that can potentially eliminate the need for using gimbal. If you need that, you would have to consider A7C or A7iv or a APSC camera like ZV-E10.
This is true, however, the stabilization is very powerful regardless. I found that I could shoot handheld in MANY situations and end up with incredibly smooth footage.
Can you do a video showing all your gear , lights , camera , microphone etc that you use please
That's a great idea! Thanks
@@KellanReck The mic is cute. Where did you buy it ?
I still love this camera
It's amazing!!
Great video. Was the slow mo video you did at the beginning in 1080p
Great video. I was wondering if you know how much better is the A7siii than the A7iii?
a7 - Hybrid ; Good at Photo ; Good at Video
a7r - Photo King ; Phenomenal Photo ; Good Video
a7s - Video King ; Phenomenal Video ; Good Photo
Thank you for that all inclusive review Mr.Kellan. I am planning to invest in a Sony A7 iii , with a Sony sel 24-105 f/4 OSS G lens. This is mainly for event photography : few portraits and snippet videos. But I am rethinking my choice due to the iPhone 14 pro max. I have a budget for only one of the two. So could you please suggest which would be a better investment ?
I have A7R5 , Just got this on special price of £1100 What a Deal!
I am thinking of buying an used a7iii. I have never bought a camera before.
Hello sir
Thanks for the video.
I am confused between 2 cameras.
Canon R8 and Sony a7iii.
Canon R8 is available for $1210 and sony for $1475.
Which one do you suggest? & why?
I need All tine Best camera.
Thank you I've been riding the fence about choosing A7iii vs A7iv for now. You have just saved me a grand that I can put towards glass.
Love it!
What did you choose?
@@kayvids8772 I guess a7iii
just bought used one for around $1300. it has 555 SC, & warranty until january 2024. I guess thats good deal right?
Heck yea!! I'm trying to find one now
Im right there where you were @ one year ago. Just had a deal for around the same amount and I’m not quite sure if it’s the 100 percentage right decision. How is your experience with the camera?
Right!
@@PurpeP i loves it. Paired with sigma 35mm 1.4 DGDN. This camera is beast of low light. Its really suit me as event photographer
@@JELew-yk3bm A7iii sets the standard for low light camera. Very good if you usually shooting in low lighting conditions.
Conclusion: Yes.
Me: thank fuck. I cannot afford to sell and purchase the newer versions
Hahaha I hear that!
Yes!!!!!
I go the Sony a7rii and I’m thinking is if is worthy buying the a7iii or wait a little longer… :(
Just get an Experia 1 mk 4 cinema pro Venice VS built in, only going to get better than Apple. Auto eye focus as alpha. Iso, shutter speeds.
I'm looking to make cinematic quality short films. This Sony or Blackmagic 6K? They are similar price. Not interested in still photos. Thankyou.
I'm biased, but think this Sony is the move.
got a used one for 350 today! really happy with it
That's incredible! Enjoy it
looks like the same winery that Nelk went too HAHA
Would you say the a7IV is an upgrade? I just bought this camera and have 2 months to try it out from Best buy.
Yes it’s definitely an upgrade. From the display screen to the video recording options, a74 definitely is a bit better than the a73. Both are phenomenal!!
Do you think it is worth buying right now to shoot wildlife photography? and for a great level, not a bignner?
Hey buddy after cracking hell lotta time I came down to two options Canon EOS R and Sony a7iii out of which i made mind for sony but then suddenly my youtube goes nuts about sony's shutter failure.
Please throw some light, cant waste my single penny.
Purpose: Night clubs, Portraits, Weddings.
I've been using my A7III since 2018. No shutter failure yet. If it did, its a 150 usd replacement.
How is it against Canon R7?
The R7 is a really great camera with amazing specs, however, it is a cropped-sensor camera. I have a video breaking down cropped vs. full-frame sensors. If you don't mind this, then it's a fantastic camera. If you prefer full-frame, then the A7III wins the battle every time.
Can’t decide Sony a7iii or a7c
Having this debate as well.
Did you change the name of this video so people would click on it in 2024? lmao
$450 for a used body no lenses a good deal?
450 where?
Still expensive for me 😂😂
Bro said affordable price
