The entire first film was shot in my home town. I work with our film commission and Tremors is one of our most popular films shot in our area! So the movie has always held closely to me lol. This is one of my favorite shows, so I can’t wait to see that movie and the whole series covered!

@@XboxJoint Nah. Up about 200 miles north of LA. Small town. Called Lone Pine. The rocks are the “Alabama Hills”. A lot of westerns used to filmed there. And sci-fi. Now it’s mostly used for commercials, but the occasional big budget film will shoot out that way. Like Iron man and Django Unchained. The town has an amazing film museum, with a pretty bad ass Tremors exhibit!
It warms my heart to see these movies and the show getting the love they deserve.
Tremors 8 "in space no one can hear you shriek" on a remote moonbase, they have to clone Burt to tackle a new alien species of graboid. 🤔
And Burt has Grabboid DNA meaning he's got heat vision and can ass blast and The Grabboid has Burt DNA and gives birth to a humanoid Shrieker.

Tremors was a childhood classic, and I remember really liking the sequel too. I never saw anything else in the series.
The first was perfect, two and three good mostly for the returning cast, the Legend Begins was OK, and Bloodline was silly fun. "Shrieker Island" & "A Cold Day In Hell" were probably the worst.
I love Fread wards scean in Road Trip where he tells a waiter him and his wife have been coming to that restaurant for 30 years and the waiter says they only opened up 2 years ago.🤣
The problem with the last 3 films was that they didn't understand what made the series so awesome. The last 3 treated Burt like straight up comic relief. What made his character so funny was how serious and paranoid he was, and how extreme his solutions tended to be.

I remember renting the first Tremors a lot as a kid. Great cast, cool effects and it just a blast to watch.
This was overall a fun series from 1 all the way to 7.
Fun and fine.
While I hated Burt dying in Shrieker Island, it was a fitting end to him. Going out giving the Graboids the finger all the way to the grave
The first movie is darn near perfect. I've seen a couple of the sequels back in the day, but I don't need to own them or see them again. The original is all I need.

I work in the stagehand Union in Las Vegas and I did a convention couple years ago that had an off-road version of an F-250 called the tremor and I basically wrote the commercial for them if they had Kevin Bacon come and start running from the ground shaking and all sudden this truck comes over the hill you know people would buy it nostalgia always sells
I love the franchise but my biggest thing is...... we didnt need the extra life cycles of the "graboids".... i wish they kept it to just the worms, "shriekers" ok fair enough, but i could have done without the "ass blasters" especially
Yes the ass blasters were ridiculous. The franchise was always about having fun but ass blasters were just goofy.
Tremors was a childhood favortie of mine. I have only seen the first two. I had no idea they made 7 of them. Cant wait to see the rest.
Burt Gummer will return. He will be found in an upcoming movie living on the island as some kind of hermit who has lost his memory due to exposure to the digestive juices of the worm. The same juices have made him heal and given him an extended life span so a new actor can play the role. This will provide the opportunity to return and resume a similar but not exact role. Mark my words.
You know how long it took me to realize Burt was the dad off Family Ties? Tremors 2 was the one that got me into the series. It used to play alllll the time I think on scifi (when it was spelled like that). I haven't seen anything after the 4th but already knew what direction they were going with the series.
Also I want some of what Sean has he looks hella baked lmao.

The Sharknado series needs The Hack the Movies crew to “Dorthy” that tornado and gather information how that “Twister” looks on the inside.
The only unsung part of this series is that Fred Ward never delivered on the promise of having Melvin's butt kicked one of these days. That and Kevin Bacon not getting to make the second TV series attempt that we all loved the teaser trailer for. RIP Fred Ward.
Idea for an upcoming episode. Since Clerk III is coming out, why not do “What is the best Jay and Silent Bob movie?”
This series holds such a close place to my heart! Loved Michael gross as the dad in family ties, I love watching him and his evolution thru each film! Absolute childhood gold!!❤

Tremors 2 is my favorite because it was the only one I had on vhs
One time i was hanging out with a friend of mine and i got stoned out of my mind, he put on a movie and i heard people speaking spanish and i got pist off and said "put something else on i dont want to watch some mexican shit and have to read subtitles". My friend looke at me and said "dude youre mexican and you speak spanish"
The movie was tremors 3 where the reporter speaks spanish at the start of the movie and i was so high i forgot spanish and that i'm mexican

3 or 4 whichever one taking place in old Western town during the 1800's is the best.
Part 4 a good movie! My favorite character hands down has to be black hand Kelly lol he’s so quotable in this movie “you’ve got to know your enemy irum!!!” Lol and all the characters get the sense that all hope is lost when he dies,if an experienced gun fighter couldn’t even fight these things how could they? Lol
The gunslinger was Billy Drago, who starred as John Bly in the Adventures of Brisco County Jr show.
Apparently I need to finally sit down and watch Tremors 2. I love the 1st movie and I've seen it 37 dozen times, but I've never watched any of the sequels; I always assumed the sequels were all just poorly-produced direct-to-video cash grabs. I guess I also need to re-watch Predator 2, which I haven't seen from start to finish since I saw it in the theater (1990).

We played Tremors on the playground at school. Loved the 1st two growing up. 3 and 4 are fine and fun. Couldn't get through any after that.
The reflection in the Alien 3 poster looks like a robot face
I actually really liked 4, thought it was better than 3..
Also, 2 technically DID get a theatrical release. I vividly remember seeing listed at a theater where I grew up, but I think it was a very limited release.
Agreed .4 is probably my second favourite.
Surviving The Game is the IceT most dangerous game movie you were talking about. It would be a great one to review

If I have to go with my favorite to least it would be Tremors 2, Tremors 1, Tremors 4, Tremors 3, then five then six. I haven't watched the last movie in full so I can't really place it on my list until I do. I actually liked 4 and I still think the saw kill is the best kill in the movies. 3 was the worst to me until part 6. Six was just awful.
7 was good; it was a good ending to the franchise.

Michael Gross was classic in Family Ties, he made that show.
4 screwed up Bert’s history. In the first movie, he said he and his wife picked Perfection to settle specifically for its geographic isolation, implying they lived somewhere else first. An ancestor living there first isn’t needed,
I just assumed it meant they had left town after highschool and came back after college.

Burt using big fucking guns, even on smaller monsters, with a smile on his face, is just so funny, especialy using that .50cal Sniper & old WW2 AA, or the Elephant Annihilator

Ice-T movie- It’s called Surviving the Game. And it is AWESOME. You should absolutely review it. Running Man/Judgement Night/ No Escape. Fits into that category.

The first two Tremors were some of my favorites as a kid, they used to pop up on the AMC channel aaaaaall the time. 3 and 4 were ok; I love em but also recognize that they aren't great. 5 was a big stinker, so I'm stunned to learn here that there were at least 2 more. Should be a good episode. :)

The answer is Bloodlines.... that's it. I just answered your question. Cold Day in Hell and Shrieker Island are bad, but Bloodlines actively ruins Tremors canon. Therefore it's the worst.

I like to pretend that the franchise ended there. I saw the show and decided that I would never watch another Tremors movie if they were dumb enough to carry on with them. Finding out that Michael Gross is a total weirdo didn't help, either...
Part 1 is great, but has too many survivors. I can relate to Grady in part 2, so I like him. Everything after 2 sucks and Burt is the only reason to keep watching.

Obviously Tony hasn't seen The Protege with Michael Keaton. Yes stunt doubles are used in small doses but the movie does a good job showing Keaton still has it in action scenes at age 70.
How do these movie buffs not remember the greatest Van Damme movie ever ... Hard Target... with Wilfred Brimley lol.
