We love a spiffy new Boeing plane. 🤩 Check out this United 737 MAX 9, and their new signature interior - TVs, reclining seats, and all new kinds of luggage storage. #shortsvideo
Except for JetBlue, every narrow body first class is pretty much the same as premium economy, except the seats are wider. Never had a problem with Comfort+/Premium Economy seats so idk why FC would be worth it.
@@Blank00 Yep! I'm including all those airlines; I'm not familiar with Alaska First Class but afaik they, like AA/Delta, also don't have anything too fancy for seats
Door plug* not plug door. It is impossible to open a plug door because of wedge design that makes it physically impossible to open at higher altitudes due to pressure differential. Door plugs on the other hand, like the ones on the door behind the panel of the hidden door between the wings and rear door on the Alaska airlines flight can and do fail (although very rare as well). Still scary as hell, especially since both Alaska and United found loose bolts on their 737 max 9's!
Common misconception about the Alaska airlines flight. The door that blew out wasn't even accessible. It was hidden behind regular panelling. It would've just looked like any other wall panel on the aircraft! This is because Alaska doesn't opt to fit in all the seats allowed in the aircraft, and therefore they do not have to use the door between the wings and rear door.
To everyone saying that first class looks like premium economy, you didn’t really expect to have an emirates type first class seat on a 737, did you? It looks like a premium seat on a wide body jet. This is a narrow body jet. You should be happy they provide tv’s in economy and first class.
Tacky comment considering people could have been killed in that incident. Trying to be cute at the expense of civility does not go unnoticed but gives you no style points.
At least United still has the bulkhead. I was on a 321 Neo on Delta this past weekend on the last first class seat, and there's only a clear piece of plastic for a bulkhead that doesn't even go to the floor. I could hear all the screaming babies in coach. Ridiculous that there's nothing separating the two compartments.
I think the Bluetooth is a nice touch. I never really liked united, but the one time I did fly them, I was on some older aircraft with probably outdated interiors, so I think it would be interesting to fly their refreshed cabin
Too many people have died on the max for me to have a good feeling about how nice the cabin looks.. I’m sure those planes that crashed had a nice new look too!
Good design. Looks sharp and is easy to clean, especially spills. Now if UAL would just step up its game regarding catering, and you'd really have something!
It is amazing how low is the bar for passengers outside of the Middle East!! This literally looks like a budget airline in the Middle East some even have better seats
@@Blank00 in reality nobody really copied anyone, it's just that they went with the same provider for the seats. (ie how american's oasis cabin uses the same seats as southwest or other LLCs)
It’s good to hear your voice again Brian and how excited you are about the new plane!! I’ve been out of the loop for sometime now but I have been working on working for United at Denver so may see me as you taxing into Denver!!!
United should label that "first class" as business at best. It's miss leading. Still though a welcoimg interior which i will never see cause i dont fly United. Made that mistake once 😂😂
@@denziiey United, Delta, AA, and Alaska all name their premium product the same way. When flying domestic (US airport to US airport), it’s labeled as first class, and these seats are first class seats because these planes fly domestic most frequently. Less frequently is when these planes fly to Canada, Mexico, or Central America. That’s when these seats are called business class by all 4 airlines
I used to be a United Airlines loyal customer. Stopped flying United in 2006 and prefer Delta today. Nowadays, if United doesn't mess up on take off, they they mess up on landing
Such a beautiful plane the max is in general. Personally, I look for flight that fly the variant over anything. Can’t wait for the 7 and 10 to get certified sooner.
No. Even if there were, bugs mostly come from suitcases or bags that have been screened by airport security, so that scenario would be most likely be the fault of airport security and not United’s fault
I'm not even from the US but for everyone moaning. The first class on narrowbody American airlines, delta and united are for domestic flights only. 2-4 hr flights max. Also, on an underbooked flight frequent fliers will he upgraded to these first seats, forging a sense of loyalty& reward.
Since this came out a year ago I’d like to inform everyone watching this now, boeing has plead guilty to falsifying documents saying how safe the 737 Max 8&9 were.
Some few weeks ago I wen't on a Boeing 737 Max 9 from Copa Airlines to go to Panama after been on Orlando for 11 days quite a great flight for 2 hours to Panama
Anywhere outside the US, that first class would be called Business or Economy Premium. But I get that those planes don't fly long haul and let's be honest, what EU airlines call Business Class on 2-4 hours flights is nothing more than standard economy seats with a giant cupholder that blocks the middle seat and a meal. So the name is wrong here, but the cabin looks fine.
That's a FIRST class?! Heck, even premium economy are better on airlines like JAL. they have a "semi low-flat" seat, so it's not completely lie-flat but it gets quite close
It’s domestic first class flown on routes within the US almost no carrier In the us actually run a lie flat seat for domestic flights since it’s not cost efficient
I wish KLM and Transavia had those screens in the 737 so you can watch a movie or see where you fly, buy sadly Netherlands airplanes only got those at the 777, 787 or 767 but not on the 737 sadly
The first class looks like premium economy
That’s literally what domestic first/business class is. It’s Premium Plus on some routes towards South America.
