March is my carnivore anniversary month. It will be my 1 yr anniversary. I started with a variety of beef, pork, chicken, seafood, lamb and Vienna sausages and Spam. Now it is just BBB&E. I'm a 70 yr old Type 1 diabetic with 5.6 A1C. When I am 99 years old, I will still be BBB&E.
Fantastic ❤
You’re doing great!!
March is also my carnivore 1 year anniversary and I will be 70 next month. Best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I watched lots of videos and I now eat 3 eggs cooked in duck lard. I try to eat one thing at a time to aid digestion. On a macronutrient chart Liver is first followed by oysters, beef kidney ,cheese ,and eggs also high sardines, salmon roe, beef, chicken and pork. I love chicharrones to snack on. I drink electrolyte water in the morning easy to make yourself. I cook liver and cut it into domino size pieces and freeze. Every few days I thaw out a cube to eat. I eat a lot of sardines. My bloodwork was great. Cholesterol was “high” and my ldl was” high” and statins were encouraged. I pointed to all my other blood tests including vit D and said I feel healthy. Sun no longer burns my skin which amazes me. I too am Carnivore for life.
Impressive.
Congratulations 🎉🎈🎊 Excellent!!! Way to go!🎉🎉🎉🎉💪🥩🥓🧈🥚🎊🎉🎈
At my small group Bible study every Sunday we have dinner together. Fortunately, the host family's daughter is also a carnivore. So we touch base every week to make sure we're covered for our way of eating. She and I will always bring food that we can both enjoy. Love your content!
I love that! Nothing better than Bible study, Christian fellowship and meat 😊❤
Love that!! 🤩
3:25 When I first heard "order the loaded baked potato, without the potato." I thought "ewe, that sounds gross"
....THEN... after about 7 months carnivore (mostly non-dairy) I started craving some dairy...
So, I remembered "loaded baked potato" 🤔
So I made a "loaded baked potato dip"
2 tblsp softened butter
4 tblsp sour cream
2 tblsp chopped bacon
1.5 oz shredded cheese
(I used "Organic Valley Raw Sharp Cheddar Cheese")
Mix all together and use it as a "dip" with prok rinds.
SO DELICIOUS!!!
I'm gonna have to try this.
Genius!!
@kuntrygyrl2493 Proceed with caution ⚠️ Lol, it was so good, I had it almost every day for about a week and half 😄
It was weird though, I was REALLY craving it during that time, and this past week I haven't craved it 🙅♀️Maybe my body just needed some dairy 😅 🙃
Wow! Great Recipe!! Thank you for sharing!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏
@@arleneblackwood835 Thanks. You're welcome. 😊 I hope you enjoy it. 😊

Sounds scrumptious. 😋
Thankyou! I will definitely give it a try ❤

I'm working on being 💯 carnivore. Right now, I'm keto
That’s great too! Nothing wrong with easing into it if you do want to go carnivore :)
Right on!
I started eating carnivore early January 2024 to try to get more energy- I’m a mom of 3, and currently breastfeeding.
My kids actually love ground beef and will eat a ton of it. They love bacon too. My 2 year old loves egg “crepes”
You’re amazing!
Been on this carnivore diet for about 2 months. Eat all types on meat: beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, eggs and cheese. I also love to make cheese dip with ground beef dipped with pork skins.
Fantastic 🎉
Amazing!
We love your channel!!
My family started transitioning to carnivore last month. We homeschool our youngest child. Our other 5 children are all adults, one is on board with us. But our 9 year old son is 5'4" and 205 lbs. and had/has some food adversions, mostly texture related. He was truly a CarbMaster, to say the least! He never ate much meat at all.
Since starting our transition, my husband has gotten a nod of approval from his blood pressure and thyroid doctor, and our youngest son's ENT approves as well. My ENT however, went ballistic! She told me carnivore is a bunch of hogwash.😅 Needless to say, I won't be going back to her.
We aren't strict with our youngest son simply because it was a drastic change just to get him to eat some meat every day. We are taking baby steps with him, letting him have more keto-ish foods fairly often for now.
We have all lost 10+ pounds. My chronic sinus issues and swollen throat have already went away. When I eat something with grains, it comes back immediately. So that gives me great incentive to keep going.
Keep up the great work ❤
Amazing!! You’re doing a great job and baby steps are just fine 🙏 proud of you for making some changes!
Thanks for your videos and information about carnivore you put out. I’m 7 months eating carnivore and trying to absorb as much information as possible. I wanted to go to the meat up in Pigeon Forge TN but couldn’t afford it right now.
We’re here for you! 🙏
This is a great tip filled video. Thanks Courtney! Would love to collaborate some time!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you! 🙏
I am 90% Carnivore
That’s great! 🙌🏼
Just doing research, getting ready to begin.
Awesome! 👏
Yay! We are here to help❤
Same! I'm so ready but first my last bad meal Sunday night😅
An older video of yours popped up on my feed. It was when you were only one month in on carnivore. When I clicked it I didn’t realize it was an older video. I was shocked 😳 I was like 😮. She looks so big…puffy…fluffy…. It is a testament to what you have accomplished through carnivore.
Would love a video of before and after pics
Thank you 🙏 i definitely need to do one because I get comments all the time saying I don’t like any different and I’m still fat lol. 55 lbs down I’d have to disagree ♥️
Thanks Courtney, you did very well at explaining. I'm so looking forward to your cookbook ❤
Thanks so much!
Great Job Courtney ❤
Thank you 🙏
Thanks! Love it
2.5 years on carnivore best thing I ever did for myself!!
Great video girly !! ❤love you’re energy 🤩🤩
That is so weird that I felt like I heard someone saying regarding people asking why you eat this way !! Umm 🤔 like a déjà Vu lol
I am staring this lifestyle on Jan.29th the gut problems and my left foot had healed. It is amazing ❤
I fell down the stairs February 22 and broke my ankle in 3 places I had surgery Friday February 23rd I had 2 pins and plate with screws installed and I went back for recheck March 5th and the doctor was shocked at the incision site healed so well. Been keto/paleo/carnivore since 2014. Doctor said my blood work is like a 25 year old woman and I'm 56. I'm pretty much carnivore omad now.
I do the carnivore lifestyle, homeschool my 4 kids, and complete Dr. Mindy (on CZcams) “Fast like a Girl” fasting regimen. I keep my kids at a meat 75% and other stuff 25%. Like you, I let them enjoy themselves at get togethers but I also put the brakes on, if they want to go over board too. I got into eating like this because I still have a terrible mastitis situation, which has significantly decreased. I’ve been to so many doctors and they have completed multiple biopsies with no solution. After taking control of my own health and ditching the doctors, my mastitis has reduced significantly. Doctor never suggested switching my eating or fasting but they did give me a lot of medications that didn’t work at all.
Now Ketovore. Landed on carnivore in 2019 after my nine year old was diagnosed & hospitalized for ten days with type 1 diabetes in 2016. Discovered the link to carbs & insulin in 2016/17 and found lower-carb options reduce blood sugar; energy, hormone issues in my kiddo and then looked into Keto and tried that in 2017/18. Carnivore was amazing in 2019 and we only keep who carnivore foods in the home. If anyone wants junk or keto they can go get it but cannot store it in the home once they are done with that single meal. (This reduces the amount of times we consume those items. We are also not desperate for them after using strict carnivore. The things you learn by going through the carnivore education path & journey is pretty amazing.
Don’t forget for newbies they can use priming! A carnivore does not need to deal with being hungry ever. Especially in the beginning. Steak & Butter Gal’s coaching group is great at helping people understand how to implement this and it sets newbies up to succeed if they are coming from ‘self-control’ diets. ♥️
I've been doing carnivore since August 2023.....love it!!!
My new interest is pork belly in the air fryer with salt, Pepper & garlic powder......delish!!!
That is awesome! We had pork belly yesterday!
I've tried it a few times, but unfortunately end up with digestive issues. It's so yummy, too.
I'm a new subscriber. 6 mo carnivore. Thank you for sharing your ideas!! ❤🥓🥩
Thank YOU!
Ive been eating this way for about 6 weeks now. Its hard to tell because i eased into it. One of my whys was losing weight...and well, that hasnt really happened. But that wasnt my only why....so i focus on the others. I do wish my big belly would get smaller even if i didn't lose weight. Its a little disappointing but i keeo reminding myself of the other whys
LOVE how you are bringing up your kids to think about food and be in tune with their bodies!! I have 4 kids (8, 5, 3, and 1) and I'm always looking for practical and tangible ways to help them understand why we eat how we eat and do what we do. I have crohns disease and they have seen me bedridden and emaciated because of a flare and so they have seen first hand the damage food can cause to the body. God has used the carnivore lifestyle to save my life and keep me from going on biologics and it's such a testimony to the kids to see how God made certain foods to be medicine. We still allow for that free Publix cookie when we go once in a blue moon, or the occasional ice cream from our sweet local ice cream shop during the summer, but majority of the time we really do try to help encourage them to see WHY we want to say yes to the healthy food and no to the unhealthy, without creating a judgemental mindset towards those who don't eat right. It can be a tough balance at this age, but we should never give up since we are raising a future generation that could have an incredible impact on the world one day! Keep up the great work!! And thank you for sharing 🥰
Thank you 🙏 ♥️♥️♥️

Thank you! Welcome!
Pregnant and almost 33 weeks. Am on carnivore and trying to get my two littles on carnivore which has been a super easy transition but why do I have the mom guilt of not giving them veggies? I give them fruit and am lenient with snacks but trying to ease them in easier and maybe doing ketovore with them instead. They don't ask for veggies but ask for fruit. My family loves the diet and loves how we feel especially with my auto immune issues.
You are doing great. ❤
Same! It’s definitely a mind eff at first. My sending want veggies either but love fruit. My older one did have a carrot when we had wings the other day lol. But that’s it! It still feels weird for me too because I used to hide veggies in their food lol. Lots of unlearning happens on this diet
I have bloating, and a full feeling from histamines that are produced in beef from because of the aging process. Can anyone point me to studies, testimonials, or info on how to over this problem?
For me, getting sugar out of my system is very helpful to cutting down on my appetite. I am sure that sugar drives my appetite even for things that aren't sweet. I takes me about 3 weeks to get sweetness out of my system. Once that is done a 1200 to 1500 calorie day is easy. Also intermittent fasting is a big part of my diet. 19/5 is my schedule. I do keto. Around 30 grams of carbs this year. Down from 50 last year. Life is good and getting better. I am 65 and keto is the best thing that has happened to me in many years. I plan on being here and being healthy for many years to come.
That's great!
I tried to get into carnivore but I couldn't stick with it. I just get really nauseous after a couple days with the amount of fat. Even after getting fat adapted I had to reduce the amount of fat I was eating because I would just feel like throwing up. And this is even after taking electrolytes I would always feel nauseous and made food really unappealing to me like I didn't even want to eat because I knew I would just feel sick. The longest I did this diet was like a couple months.
Yeah it can take several months for the digestion to adjust. I know some people push through that with the help of oxbile and the like. Sometimes if a person's got leaky gut or any type of gut issue's, the fat can be challenging. I encourage you to try again....maybe ween off the veg slowly and use something to help digest the fat. Ultimately, carnivore or ketovore are completely customizable! Give it another try friend....we want to help! And we won't be the carnivore police if you decide to eat some vegetables lol ❤❤❤
It can definitely take some time and there are things you can do to help. If you ever want to try again, we’re here for you 🙏 maybe ketovore would be a better option
I have Oxalate poisoning from eating vegan and drinking superfood smoothies, many go through Oxalate dumping making them sick. Fat is very important some go through loose stools this is not unusual. Dr Anthony Chaffee and Dr Ken Berry are a big help in understanding how our body works.
@@CourtneyLuna yeah I was watching like another carnivore video and they were talking about that. It's not for everyone. Like if you don't like meat or a lot of fat Or you only like to eat lean stuff then it's probably not for you and you shouldn't force yourself to do something. I would try if like I had a medical condition but I don't and I don't really have any food intolerances.
Thank you for this helpful video!
May I ask if you average a stick of butter a day?
Thanks for watching! I do not, I maybe have a 2-3 tablespoons
@@CourtneyLuna oh good grief, no wonder I hit a plateau, lol!
Love, love your recipes, can't wait for the book! Keep up the awesome content, your a rock star ⭐️
@@jackndianne3823 lol!!
@@jackndianne3823 and thank you! ♥️
I have one kid who ears nothing but carbs and another who is less picky but wonr do red meat because its made hwr throw up too many times. I wish the carb heavy kid liked meat. He just doesnt. He will eat chicken but thats it and he definitely wont eat that 3 times a day. Its hard.
When I first started Carnivore, I wasn’t tracking macros and I was losing fairly easily. Lost basically 7lbs in the first couple weeks but since then (been on it for almost 30 days), I’ve almost totally stopped losing and I definitely still have plenty to lose! I’ve got another 40lbs+ left to lose. After tracking for the last couple days, I realized my heavy cream intake was adding a ton of carbs to my day (12g alone😮). So therefore I was ending my days at around 15g carbs for the day. Could this be what’s causing my stall? Otherwise I have about 115g Protein, around 100g Fat, and approx 1,300cal/day. And I exercise between 1-5x’s/week (depends on my schedule). What are your thoughts?
How tall are you and what’s your goal weight? You can try eating a bit more by adding more protein
My kids were raised vegan. They are 8 and 12 now and it’s a hard transition for them. They cried over ketchup the other night. I switched to the sugar free primal kitchen. No bueno. Then I had the audacity to serve hot dogs without buns, they had baked potatoes on the side! They are carb addicted
Yes potatoes are evil
I'm in southern California. Are you ever doing a meat up?
I’ve done 2 so far! No plans for one as of now, trying to get Dr. Lisa to plan one out here 🙃
Does this happen to anyone else? My hubby is apparently turning out red meat intolerant. We buy conventional red meat becauseI'm trying to transition my family of 6 toward more animal based, carnivore, right. So, unfortunately he gets mad bloated no matter how I cook it. He has no problem with poultry, no problem with pork. Is this common? Does anyone know or has heard what could be wrong?
Hmmm. Just came to add my daughter cant handle ground beef or red meat. After throwing it up every time after eating she stopped eating all red meat except for a couple meatballs here and there. It could be the way it's cooked? I'm not sure.
No one mentions beef stick..seems pretty fatty...is this viable thinking??? ANYONE?? I'm new post 1 month
Beef sticks are great 😊
Did I not mention beef sticks? Thought I did, we eat them everyday 🤔
I've got a food addiction. Been Carnivore, not dropping weight. Confused: eat until mildly stuffed or super restricted calories... please address. Thanks for all your info & recipes! Good job🎉
Are you doing dairy or processed meats?
Cut out all dairy BUT: 2T heavy whip once a day. Said goodbye to cheese 6 weeks ago.
I guess 0->1g carb sausage is next. : /
I have a littlec2 year old grandson and he will eat fries egg bites they buy at starbucks- help i can't get him to eat even eggs 😮 he will eat pb crackers and a pb muffin hus mommy makes and drinks milk - oh he does like bacon
Heathen carnivore. I know the right way. I do it enough for pain tolerance and seasonal allergies. I had a regular meal from cookout where i ate the hush puppies and drank a coke float, twice in one day whenever i was rundown. Didn't eat the bun. But i only ate meat and dairy the rest of the week. That wasn't a cheat day. I just didn't get enough sleep the night before and used the carbs to cheat sleep. Do that only occasionally. Usually straight meet. Occasionally fruit or vegetables if they're provided. Oh and I don't avoid cheaply fried chicken. I regularly eat too much dairy. Im about like a reformed alcoholic who drinks on occasions but is responsible enough not wreck his car.
The last line lol
I have a 15 & 19 year old here at home. They are not interested in getting rid of the junk food. My 15 year old gets really tired of meaty dinners. My 19 year old will just go by his junk food if it’s not in the pantry.
That’s got to be tough! I’m lucky my kids are little enough that I still have control, haven’t thought about how I’ll handle the teenage years 😝
Carnivore 1 yr. My kids are 7,5,2. Meat based most of the time. 1 meal per day only meat.
We are switching to homeschool next year.
Amazing!
🤘💯🤘
