- I bought a 2024 Ford Maverick! I have had this truck on order since July of 2023 and it finally came in! I have been vey excited about these trucks since they came out but wasn't able to order one until recently. This should make for a great daily for years to come.

Yeah a small truck is super useful and as they kept making them bigger there was no gap between them and the f150 so its no surprise sales fell off.

That Maverick seems like a really nice package. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it and your thoughts on it as time goes on. It sure makes a whole lot more sense, for so many people, than the current group of full size "trucks" IMO.
Yeah I think it fits the bill. Id argue I've hauled more weight on a consistent basis in my old Colorado and Toyota Tacoma than any 3/4 Cummins. A bike in the back almost daily. I just don't need a big truck
I just got my 2024 XLT equipped exactly the same except for the color (carbonized grey metallic). Already got a tri fold tonneau cover installed, ordered custom seat covers, installed a dash pad, interior accessories, etc. Still have to install the mud flaps and the LED turn signal bulbs in the front. Thinking about getting different wheels and tires too. Just over 200 miles on mine!

Nice! I dailyed an 84 Nissan Pickup from 1990 until 2020 because it was perfect size, very rigid, handles like a sports car, and found nothing I liked to drive better until I drove a 1st gen Ridgeline. I found an 07 in 2020 when kungflu hit and got a great deal. I totally love it for all of the reasons I loved the Nissan but I have lots more room, 4 wheel drive, and it doesn't wear me out to drive it 1000 miles like the Nissan does. Still have the Nissan, it has around 400K on it and would still trust it to go anywhere.
I do love the look of the Ridgelines but something with the Mavericks just speaks to me. I wanted a focus st as I said but this offered more utility and a warranty lol. Also I very much agree that comfort for 1000 miles is very important
Love the Maverick! I was going between this and the Ranger . Ending up putting a deposit down on the ranger raptor! Gotta wait a couple more months but hopefully It’s worth it.

I just purchased a 2023 Red AWD Tremor XLT Luxury package with co-polit 360 because it is higher off the ground compared to all the other trims.Also my truck does not have the back vent window and window tint are lightish.It’s an amazing truck.
The Tremor is definitely cool. I've seen some lifted Mavericks and they definitely look rad
I am so happy that you got your Mav. Like you ,I also ordered mine on July 18, 2024. I have been told that production starts on mine the week of Feb, 26, Did yours start on time?
Mine started maybe a few days late but nothing drastic. It actually sat in Kansas City for almost 2 months before getting its final trip to St. Louis. That was the hardest part to wait for!

I’m from that era of the “small 4cyl pick up trucks”. Them old Nissan trucks of the mid too late 80’s/early 90’s. Always had a thing for lite duty small pick ups. The Maverick reminds me of those times other than the markup that the dealerships are doing with these things. I really dig them. Would definitely be interested in one if I was in the market for buying a small truck. I’ve seen one in my area of Riverside County that someone has made to look rather sporty. Lowered with some nice looking gun metal colored 18 inch rims on it. I don’t know about any other mods but I’m sure it has potential. If I were too get one, I’d be split between making it a true light duty kind of truck with some decent meaty tires & the ability to take it on the sand, drive up too the mountains when we have snow, and drive it on some small trails. Or sport it out, lowered with a nice exhaust & tune. I mean I do live in Southern California so I would not be doing much to any off-raising anyhow.
Fortunately you can get these at MSRP if you search. Not all dealers mark them up as the market stabilized on these as Ford ramped up production. The Tremor package is offroad oriented and they look super cool with a small lift and tires so you cant go wrong in either direction!

Nice can't wait to see how you like it, im actually considering one myself till I saw the Toyota Stout is coming back as a competitor so im holding off still. I just wish Ford named it the Ranchero instead.
The Stout may be cool for sure so I'll be curious to see what those look like. The Ranchero name could work but to me this doesn't look like a car so maybe that disconnect was the problem.
I do like smaller trucks, but i recently bought a used 2011 f150 with the 5.0 coyote, 4 door so i can still take the wife and kids around if needed, and a 6.5ft bed so i can still haul things. I mostly got tired of having to borrow a friends truck since i sold my chevy a long time ago for a more famil6 oriented vehicle lol.
The 4 door f150 cab is very nice and I do miss that flat floor in back. It could fit everything. Also, coyotes rule!
@@tangentsbhb wish I had more time and money to do any neat upgrades, but it will unfortunately probably remain mostly stock.
There is a rumor about that Ford is keeping the Maverick
production low to encourage people to order the Lariat model.

Congrats on getting your Maverick, very nice! Been waiting 488 days since I ordered my 2023...Ford required me to re-order last July as a 2024 if I still wanted a Maverick...it is in route to my dealer finally...I might take those black wheels off your hands for the right price...I will have the standard wheels that come on the Lariat and the black would look better on mine I believe if you are interested in selling...not sure where you are located...please let me know...

Thank ya! I live for heated seats but have never experienced a heated wheel and now I can't go without lol. These wheels are not terrible in the grand scheme but compared to any other Maverick wheel option they look like trash

Been watching alot of videos here lately on the Maverick but thats not what got me to follow you! You gave a shout out to JT in Moscow Mills and considering thats damn near my back yard I had to give you a follow! I hope that means that your local! Never met another CZcamsr in my area! The Escape/Broncos/Maverick is an independent structure from the cars since 2019.
But based off of similar engineering. I'm not saying its identical
I have 2022 hybrid and im going to switch to 2.0 gasolina only, many problems with the hybrid, brake, weird engine sounds, im not sire if ecoboost has same problems
I have only seen people having problems with power loss and random glitches on the hybrids. The ecoboost is more simple and seems to very reliable from what ive seen from other owners
How much your rims?

I drove a Chevy Colorado to Louisiana a couple years back, and it seemed no bigger interior wise than my old Metro. How does this interior feel?
You are right, those wheels are, the definition of a STOCK, wheel. Bland and anything is an improvement. Is that the bronze wheels you got off marketplace you mentioned? I thought those were for the Porsche? Can you swap to Porsche wheels? Lots of stupid questions.
These are a weird 5x108mm so limited choices. Volvo and a few others use it. Same bronze wheels you saw before 😎
Interior is a tiny bit larger than my 1st gen Colorado. It's a very good size in my opinion in that it's much smaller than the f150 but not uncomfortable by any means

2023. AREA 51. lariat. ECO boost. Named Roswell. Waited 1 year and 8 days... who was counting. Cold weather. Engine heater plug is under the hood...really. Not a fan of the app to pre start the truck. Other than that, love it.
App to pre start? Mine had the remote start enabled right away via key
@@tangentsbhb Not on the 2023. Just lock, unlock and alarm on the keyfob. To pre start I have to go to Fordpass app on my phone.

Well its hard to argue the fuel economy you get! As a compact versatile pickup it would be hard to beat. I simply wanted the power to have fun with but if I were in the market for more of an economy focused vehicle I'd likely get the hybrid

No these taillights are from the black appearance package. Regular XLT has normal taillights

I have a 23 Mav XLT, AWD with the tow pkg. I’ve had mine since October and I love it! Took a big road trip from Oklahoma to California and back. It was perfect!. I’ve done some mods. Check them out. I’m on CZcams. Make-A-Memory

I personally like single cabs more, since they will heat up or cool down faster, than say a minivan, I like a somewhat squished feel in my cars, the truck is a little too new for me (im a cheapskate), but it's still a nice truck either way. Just wish they had a single cab with more bed space to fill the missing cab with, so the truck is still the same length.
Or I try to find an old Hilux single cab with a V6 that isn't rusted out, and insulate and sound deaden the crap out of it. Lol
A single cab would look cool but these aren't large cabs at all. It heats up quick

My advise is don't they're built like crap and fail alot... warenty is none ex8sfant and just try to Weasley out of it
