ABOUT ME:
I’m Liam Harrison, Bolton born and bred. I’m a lover of Golf, life and laughter.
Started Golf 12 years ago after packing in football when i was 28 due to a back injury.
I started the CZcams channel as a laugh and a Wim, to make me practice but that went out the window as i started vlogging, loving being on camera but more so the interaction with my #golfmates.
In 14 months i have seen the channel evolve and become the only real golf community on CZcams which i am extremly proud of.
I would like to thank all the #golfmates that have been with us and supported us and the channel from the start. Also not forgetting our new #golfmates that may have only just come across the channel. - Sport

I've owned a Optishot for about 3 years. Love it and great info. Open/Close face, distance etc. I've even tested it against Trackman and others. Really great graphics etc. Distance is accurate within 2-3 yards compared to Trackman or CGI. You can also play against people all over the world.
We installed the Optishot in my friends garage over a year ago to play during the amazing winter months here in Canada. Installed powered rollup screen and surround. Works great ! There are better systems out there but, for the price you can beat being able to play year round ! Cheers Mates , stay safe and hope to get back out on the course soon !

Probably neighbours that got annoyed by the noise of the ball hitting the impact screen. No joke, my neighbour shouted at me, because of that and called the police. Police told him, that it's not their duty. I have to say, that my neighbour is a twit and is getting upset about evrery noise we make. I am pretty much ignoring him for a long time because of that. So we keep on hitting balls.

Owned one of those for 5 yrs now. Very good tool to improve and practise all winter ( almost 5 months w/snow = no golf) here in Canada. Since Covid Isolated, 100 balls per day plus a complete 18 holes. Always using a 64 deg wedge and the computer corrects for any other club. I never use a ball since I am swinging in my living room. It does the job just the same.
You can also open an account ''pier o pier', and play with other Opti shot owners in the world. I am sure you will have f a lot of fun and soon many golf buddies over to your place. Your wife will require patience ! LOL

Absolutely love it...what a farm finish that is, my wife would be having kittens. When i push that play button i never know what I'm about to watch, a bit of everyday life at Liam's madhouse a bit of golf a bit of comedy it's just so watchable each and every video, your wife is a saint. Made my own golf hitting net been thinking of getting a golf simulator and this video has inspired me!👌🏼
Did you end up going with a sim? If you are still in the process of putting it together I would spend more and get a skytrak or Mevo. The Optishot might be fun but it's just not real data.

You need light on the Optishot unit. The unit uses sensors to see how quickly your club comes in and at what angle, the less light, the less accurate it'll be. Good vid man, keep it up!

Hi from Arizona. Your playing golf in your backyard while you play golf in my backyard. I’ve played that course. I live right there at the very base of the Superstition Mountains.

We have been using this set up for several years. WE use the Spornia golf net that sets up in under a minute. The projector I bought was less than $100.00 and the Optishot was under $300.00. I built a stance mat with a Gorilla turf for my Optishot! We play year round and it is currently set up in my living room. It's not the high tech simulator that costs thousands of dollars, but it's a lot of fun, once you dial in your clubs. Putting takes some practice and we use an old style shiny stainless steel putter that picks up the stroke nicely.
I love and use the Spornia too but I did spend more to get a Skytrak and I'm glad I did. You can check out my setup here if you are interested: czcams.com/video/97pePtttzhY/video.html. So much fun.

I had a set up like that 15 years ago from Golf Simulators of America. I used it as a portable set up and had it at events, corporate days, birthdays among others. I took it to hotels and shows. The best place I took it was to the Quatar Masters in Doha the year Thomas Bjor n won it which was good because I was sponsored by Maersk Drilling and Production. You will really enjoy it and become addicted
