    • @tamaracarter1836
      @tamaracarter1836 Před 3 lety +1

      I think a lot of the Midsummer Murder episodes were filmed in the English counties of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire - although the parts of Oxfordshire that sit outside of the Cotswolds region. This was definitely a popular filming location for them, but I’m sure they also utilised many others parts of England as well. However there’s another show called “Agatha Raisin” that was actually set in Biddestone (Agatha’s house can be seen at 1:13), plus all of the episodes were shot in different villages and towns across the Cotswolds; including a couple in Lacock.

    Very beautiful, natural, old-fashioned houses. Filled with trees, flowers, lawns, small pathways that infuse houses and flower gardens. It is a peaceful rural life. Far from the chaos ... but let's blame the quality of the pictures for a bit. I think you take pictures from a distance and then zoom the camera. Making the image shaking It is not clear and the image will be large and not realistic. But still thank you for bringing a beautiful video Come and let us see ...

    Very pretty, but I would not want to live in one of those cold and draughty houses. I was brought up in the UK, and many of those old houses still have the old single paned windows and doors with big gaps.

    • @michaelstevenson8612
      @michaelstevenson8612 Před 4 lety +1

      I, think you are missing the whole point about these houses, villages, and town's.
      Modern properties do not have a fraction of the character or beauty of anything that you see on this video.
      Souless is one way of putting it when it comes to modern housing and living.

    • @chriswilliams6568
      @chriswilliams6568 Před 4 lety

      Michael Stevenson even when they build new in the UK, they seem to have the old style, which is fine, but with all the modern conveniences, and draught proofing and insulation, hopefully. Stone and brick homes are cold, and damp, to live in. After our wood frame homes here in Canada and every home having at least double thermal panes, I know and have felt the difference. Also why the Brits are always complaining about the cost of heating a UK home.
