  • Rugby Training - Explosive Session. Have you ever wanted to know what a high standard training session looks like?
This video will provide you with a full self-guided rugby session that you can do by yourself or with a few mates down at your local field. This session has a full warm up, speed, change of direction and cardio components that together make for a great training session.
This rugby session aims to educate players on what a good warm up should look like, how to do it and why it is important. We then go into sprint mechanics and 2 speed blocks these should be done at your own pace, at least 3minutes between Sets. The last part of the session is a series of change of direction drills which focus on moving in multiple directions with acceleration and deceleration components.

Awesome video-- I want to implement this with my team before practice and games! Any chance this routine is written down so we can print it out and take it to the field with us? Could you put it in the description?

small sprints 3x10 2x20, (2 days a week) can be enough. do it on training days
