  • These birds are getting full exercise before breeding season. I have European Goldfinches, Green singer(Yellow-Front Canaries), Zipra Fiches, Society Finches, Canaries. They're all happy together in an Aviary.

Thank you so much for showing us how to have happy birds!!! Their home is so sunny and homey - makes one want to be a bird there.

That's funny..notice in the beginning how the canary wants the finch to feed it. The finch is like "are you fucking crazy?"

I thought they said it wasn't a good idea to have multiple species of canaries and finches together.

Thanks for sharing. I have 4 Java Finches in with 5 Canaries. All the research I did online seemed to say it was ok to do that. Plus it seems evident that it is with your vid. I'm keeping a good eye on them and they are getting along fine. I LOVE my Javas. They
have already started to mate and set up nesting in one of the boxes.
I'm just wondering if the canaries will want to nest in their 'open' nests- or if they would be intimidated? Move a pair to another cage -Any suggestions?

yes as long as you have provided good shelter bone dry aviary floor no wetness or dampness cover the mash wires don't let rain get into avairy they can get very quick sick in winter give everyday fresh food n water no lettuce during winter give hard boiled eggs as well.
