It's really nice to tag as long as you live your life, explore, play with Frank, split wood, cook food. It is so nice to see you getting such pleasure out of each day. And Frank's foot... what a reason to celebrate. Anyone who knows dogs understands how fastidious they are about grooming their feet. Frank has been leaving his wounds alone for so, so long. I'm sure that foot is going to get so tender attention from him once he figures out that it's ok to clean it now.
He’s keeping it pretty clean now and he was indeed such a good boy. His vets said foot wounds are one of the hardest to care for on a dog.

Love the scenery, beautiful. One of your last comments on this video was "Nothing really happened in this video" but you know, in my eyes a lot of things happened. You saw a really cool red headed woodpecker, bears running across the road and Frank protecting you with his barks, and you saw 2 during your walk. You saw beautiful landscapes and micro elements, crab, and I'm sure much more than you showed us. So please never say "Nothing really happened" because life happened. Thank you for sharing your adventures in this beautiful place.

Pure bliss! Thanks for sharing the beauty, Amanda. Our lives change to adapt to the needs of our senior pups but there is so much sweetness to be enjoyed with our elderly pals. They help us slow down and smell the roses in every sense. Good to hear Frank is doing so well. Much to be learned from his patient way of facing challenges. In the words of the greatest street philosopher I've ever known , "We should all live more like dogs" Eat when we're hungry, sleep when we're tired, play in the sun, don't hold a grudge, live with an open heart, appreciate and just be in the moment. 🥔 I heard some of the ingredients in your salad as I was cooking, and copied you! Thanks for the inspiration! My sauteed carrots with tofu were accompanied by minced garlic, cayenne pepper flakes, cilantro, seasalt, maple syrup, & cider vinegar; at the end I added some lettuce and mixed it all; to serve over brown rice with a few white, boiled potatoes on the side. The flavors are incredibly good!!! The bears!!! ❤ I looked up the kingfishers, and was delighted to see they are the belted kingfishers, like the ones I see here, in Southern CA. 😊 Your campsites were beautiful; the walk/hike in the woods... wow. The image of the picnic table and benches covered in moss! That should be a print or something... just beautiful!! Love how you are so connected to the life around you, and you can sense it when bears are near, etc. That sixth sense is something many in our species has lost. I need to watch your entire live stream, as I want to know what you said about a roadtrip on Vancouver Island... we are planning that as our big getaway this year, mid September I think. So happy to see Frank's foot improvement!! Hugs to you both! xo (I know what you mean about books: I do the same, read several at the same time, depending on the mood, and some I breeze through and others have a bookmark in them for a very long time... 😂❤ x )
