    Good video. I need one like this on getting into (and out of)) a 12 ft rowboat by myself. I've had both knees replaced and don't have the flexibility I used to (68).

    Canoes are ridiculous. These people look like they are walking a balance beam to get into this thing. You can't enjoy a nice, relaxing ride when you're always worried about tipping over. And they are not stable once you get settled. You literally can't turn around and scratch your ass without capsizing.

      Maybe the canoe you were in had a damaged hull...I had 8 family members on and off of mine today multiple times and we never came close to capsizing. Unfortunately, a damaged hull can make it more unstable, resulting in situations like you're describing

      You apparently have no clue what you are talking about. Canoes are ver stable.
