My first concert, as a teenager, was to see the "Green Machine", Mr. Al Green. His current hit song at the time was You Ought To Be With Me. Walking out on the stage, with the tune to this song playing, wearing an all white 3-piece suit & carrying 2 dozen, long stem, red roses, the crowd was in a frenzy. The ladies, in this 15,000 seat concert arena, was making a beeline to the front of the stage to try to get a rose from this young man. What a way to open his show. It was the early 1970's & I still remember Green's concert like it was yesterday. Oh, what a time to be a teenager. Historic.

His vocal range spans 6-8 octaves depending on who you ask and sings in many different languages. He’s been studying music since the age of 5. There’s much more to know about him but you have to hear him to believe it. The version of “SOS” that he sang at the Slavic Bazaar is the best. Trust me, you will only regret if you are afraid to try something that you are probably not used to. 😁
