I'm the Juggernaut, Bitch!
Grand Admiral Shepard Express yourself like a normal human being and stop using that stupid word over and over
i love that line
The only reason that line was in the movie was because of the popular viral video at the time.

Dude, noone cares. Stop whining.
Ken No One Cares yet you cared enough to write a reply. No word is enough to describe your idiocy

I remember seeing this movie as a kid and being really disappointed in it. A couple years later, Spider Man 3 came along and left me feeling the same way.
QKnightZ totally agree!
QKnightZ you're the last person I would expect to see on a Chris stuckmann video lol
QKnightZ same tbh
QKnightZ Agreed. Spider man 3 disappointed me more than this one tho
QKnightZ ayyy Q. That's cool you watch Chris
the fact that Cyclops dies literally straight away with barely any screen time made it suck for me :/
Matt gg the only reason why Cyclops was killed off so early is because that James Marsden who played Cyclops was cast in Bryan singer superman returns film and the shooting schedule for both movies was at the same time.
Matt gg Yep!
Danny Platt Still, it was very stupid.
Me too Matt
Ever his own film one day?
In Bryan Singer's plot outline for X men 3, Jean Grey would've been a very powerful entity causing disruption around the world. Strange lights seen in the sky, cargo ships being torn apart in the ocean carrying mutant prisoners.
Cyclops has build the Danger room and leads the x men on a rescue mission. Cyclops thinks that the X-men could've done more to save Jean and failed as a team.
Gambit would be new member of the X men and Rogue has feelings for Gambit and Iceman becomes jealous. Gambit would be a love rival for Iceman. Apparently Keanu Reeves was set to play Gambit.
The X men and Magneto discover that Jean Grey has resurrected as the Phoenix where she thinks mankind cant co exist and she is taking matter into her own hands. Emma Frost and the Hellfire club try to convince Jean Grey to join their team. Emma Frost was set to be played by Sigourney Weaver
The US Goverment want to capture Magneto and dispatch an army of Sentinel robots to hunt down Magneto.
In the movies climax the X men, Magnetos brotherhood and the Hellfire club all battle each other to win Jean's trust and Jean sacrifices herself to stop the three forces killing each other and to save the world from her own fury.
Then Jean would become a Goddess and says her goodbye to Cyclops and the x men.
That would’ve been pretty awesome!!!! Except for Frosts casting.
@@reesesfan9521 yeh i was like HELLL NAH!
Fuuuuuck, I wanna watch that movie now :(
Man, despite being such a shitty person, Singer really is very creative when it comes to the X-Men
@@15CandlesI find it funny how this X-Men Trilogy was directed by POSs with Bryan Singer and Brett Ratner or Brett “The Rat” Ratner as Mr. Sunday Movies calls him
Tommy Wiseau is the best mutant.

f. g Let's go fight mutants, huh
YOU'RE TEARING ME APART, DARK PHOENIX!!!!
nightviper1115 You are so hysteric!
nightviper1115 Oh hai Wolverine, how's your sex life?
So thats it huh? We some kind of X-Men The last stand.
ayyjose best one yet lol
most overused unfunny joke ever
This is Brett Ratner! He's got my back! I would advise not watching a movie directed by him! His movies trap the souls of his victims!
ayyjose
this was actually funny
MG3 It's funny because it pisses people like you off, you don't get it you are not the audience but the target of the joke
the last stand is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Glad Chris recognizes that.
The only things I don’t like like about it, but can live with, was the silly and pointless love triangle. I wish they’d done a little more with Rogue, she’s my favorite. I wish they’d done more with Angel. A very cool concept but not much of a character there. Aside from that, still a very enjoyable X Men movie. Not as good as the first two, but exceptional.
@@GreatOldOne9866 I just hate how truly underutilized Rogue was in the entire franchise. She's a great character and Anna Paquin is a perfect casting for the choice, it's just because there's so many characters in this movie, they used to sidelined her in the background even in Days of Future Past her scenes was cut and was in the theatrical version for about 5 seconds and Paquin herself was credited in the ensemble cast member at the end credits, atleast there's the Rogue cut that redeem the character and Paquin herself
When Cyclops died, so did my enjoyment of the rest of the movie. Only 6-7 X-Men on their roster and I was like... "where did everyone else go??"
Interesting. I didn't miss him. In my opinion Cyclops was always a lame character in these movies. Maybe they will do him justice in the future, but none of the movies so far have made me care about him as adult or his younger self in Apocalypse.
LyleVSXyle The rest of the movie I was like, "Wait...he died? Did she kill him? Is he dead?" Killing him off screen was a bit disrespectful. Now that we have Days of Future Past, I don't mind this movie as much. It's just a different time line and what could have been.
Toolness1 That’s Cold dawg, Cyclops is the man
He’s not even that cool tho... in the first 2 movies he shoots people with his laser and it literally does nothing just knocks them over😂
@@aydanscott9871 they did him dirty. Cyclops was supposed to be a idealist leader
I'M THE JUGGERNAUT BITCH!!!
Let's face it that line was destined for meme history.
Mr. Ausom bullshit
Mr. Ausom indeed I do, but it was a line still destined for meme status.
,
best part of the movie
I still laugh at that scene that was gold.
Damn, I'm so close to seeing Hugh Jackman's LAST film as Wolverine and Patrick Stewart's LAST film as Professor X.... I don't think I'm ready.
King of Wakanda Why the fuck are you everywhere? you're even on NFL for Christ sakes.
King of Wakanda #AllHailTheKing.
whats NFL? :v
Hugh Jackman has to do Deadpool 2 than finish
stop
Am I crazy or is this movie not that bad. It's not good but it's not horrible either
Persona Hearts it’s pretty bad but it seems a little better just cause the next film is sooooo horrible
@@ZR38315 there are some stupid parts but for the most part it's fine it's just that t here is a lot of plotlines here
I remember it left me feeling really cold when I saw it in the theatre. Still, the handling of Phoenix was the only criticism in particular I've actually heard that seems fair. You're basically right. It's certainly not as bad as what we've been given since.
Im not a film expert so that may be it, but i liked it better than x men 1&2
I mean people say that because they compare it to X Men and X2 which is understandable, a gigantic step down for sure but as a film itself, it's not too bad
5:00 you basically just summarised how I feel about GOT season 8
Haha
Juggernaut: I'm the juggernaut bitch
Me: 10/10
I must admit I enjoyed the Juggernaut in this film, fun character, in a kind of entertaining schlocky way. I do however completely appreciate why people do not like what they did with him at all: Complete betrayal of the original source material, beaten only by a certain person I won't name from Origins: Wolverine.
Noah Weinberg this is the epitome of pure cinema.
Noah Weinberg I actually loved that scene haha
you know who else is juggernaut?
This movie is shit
Personally, I hate that Magneto turned his back on Mystique just like that. All their relationship only amounted to that? In Hollywood, it seems only the good guys are allowed to be faithful to their closed ones.
dataseptable They never really had a good relationship. He straight up tried to kill her in DoFP
dataseptable One of the many reasons why I hate this film more than Origins.
+John Big Boss I don't think Magneto is meant to be racist. He's a victim of racism/prejudice in two ways. I think him leaving her behind is just meant to show that he doesn't see her as one of them anymore and since she's cured she's not even in danger anymore.
Dani Moorehead You don't think wanting to fight against and kill a race of people qualifies you as a racist?
Mmk then..
+Lauren Bennett well shit, when you say it like that, yeah. Honestly I haven't seen x-men in forever so I can't even remember if he wanted to kill humans. Also does humans count as a race or a species? Either way in that case he's a racist affected by a lifetime of racism and prejudice.
I really loved Famke Janssen's performance in this one. That scene with her & Wolverine at the end made me cry...😍
I actually liked The Last Stand and even after having seen it and the two predecessors several times, I still don't really know why people hate on this movie so much. Yeah, the first two X-Men movies where better, but this movie is not bad...
clueso, hi!
Somewhere it has to be written that real X-Men fans have to hate part 3. It seems to be a Mutant law. But You are right: This movie is not bad!
Even if you don't think the movie is bad, stop and think about where it left the franchise. Cyclops & Jean Grey are dead, Magneto & Mystique have no powers, Professor X is in another body and there could be a potential cure still running around.
+Adam Hasser ah, I see your point...
I agree with Adam Hasser. Plus, call me stubborn, but I am a huge fan of the Phoenix saga, thought the set-up to it in X2 was executed flawlessly, waited 3 years to see X3 on its opening night and felt utterly robbed by its portrayal.
wolverine 2 is technically a sequel to X3, even comes with Jean, Magneto, Professor X and all
They should have made an X-Men 4 after Days of Future Past instead of making X-Men Apocalypse. Everything was in place to do so, missed opportunity.
zoraiz zia Logan is pretty much X Men 4 but everyone is Dead except Professor X and Wolverine.
Wade Fucking Wilson rude
Right!! I always did wanna see an Xmen 4 with the og cast instead of these prequel movies
Joe Logan isn’t a different universe. It’s in the same timeline that was created after days of future past.
We need an X5. with the original cast but ushering in a new generation. That's what the missed opportunity was
randomly skipped to 6:30 and oh boy I was a little scared
Lmao
Jean grey was right in apocalypse when she said “everyone knows the third film is always the worst”
Bullshit. I liked The Last Stand than her shitty movie she called: DARK PHOENIX
Yeah until the 4th sequel prequel came out
But tbh I like apocalypse a lot more than first class
That was a bad movie, thinking it's a good movie, insulting an actually incredible movie, that being Return of the Jedi. I hate it.
Honestly am surprised this movie gets bashed on as much as it does. I'd watch this over Apocalypse any day of the week easily. Watched this as part of my X-Men marathon expecting it to bad, and surprisingly I thought it was really good! I got chills multiple times throughout it. I think it has the best action of the 3 films, the music theme for Dark Phoenix (especially at the end when Logan is reaching her) is amazing, and the conclusion to Jeans character as well as her relationship to Logan was handled better than I expected. The "cure" plot was pretty smart too and added some cool character moments. Also, of course, Bobby becoming full Ice Man was awesome.
Lost Utopia Films I agree although I'd rather watch Apocalypse over The Last Stand any day.
*To me this is my least favorite X-Men movie because I didn't care for Phoenix and they killed off Cyclops early.*
*Also they butchered The Juggernaut.*
That's why I hate it too. Scott was my favourite.
*Yeah really, THANK GOD that Days of Future's Past fixed that for us.*
Duriel Lord of Pain
Only for us to see him for a few seconds and then never again...
Duriel Lord of Pain Why do you type in all bold?
*Its my style.*
Chris only you can bring up reasonable arguments to defend this movie. Great job
The big issue with this movie for me is the nakedly obvious studio interference. The production was troubled; the movie and franchise suffered from it. The movie has the burden of tying up a trilogy but also has to springboard sequels and prequels. Characters are killed off like they're trash that needs to be thrown out. The end result is rushed movie that seemed to be done so that the studio would be able to meet it's X-Men-movie-out-once-every-three-years quota. -- AT
...I thought I was alone enjoying Kelsey Grammer as Beast.
I've been liking the entire xmen series before you had claws
Hahaha
*Logan* Well, for all we know, the government helped cook this up.
*Hank* I can assure you, the government had nothing to do with this.
*Logan* I've heard that before.
*Hank* My boy, I have been fighting for mutant rights since before you had claws.
*Logan* Did he just call me "boy"?
*John Oliver* okay, few things there, one, don't call me boy!
*Ronan comes in out of nowhere* You call me boy!
Logan should've come back at him with something like, "Yeah and I've fought in multiple wars at least 100 - 200 years since before you were born and I was experimented on by a government/scientific branch of the military and they turned me into a weapon. So no I'm afraid you're wrong Doctor I've had my claws longer than you've been fighting for mutant rights and longer than you've been alive!
@@dannyib94 Logan dosnet know how old he is.. most of his memory past the last 10 to 20 years is gone.
The Juggernaut was Professor X's brother, and he wasn't a mutant. He had magic armour.
That's right, if I am not mistaken the same crystal that made the juggernaut cost Charles the use of his legs?
The original x men trilogy changed so much shit like that for no reason and it was so annoying.
They based Juggernaut off his ultimate version which he’s a super strong mutant. I liked it
Not in the movie
They did that version of Juggernaut in Deadpool 2.
Famke is so hot. I can't believe she's 53. Damn, I'm old
Most unrealistic scene in the history of cinema was matt Damon not boning her in Rounders
I met her at comic con really nice woman
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
this hasn't aged well with how she looks now
I re watched X-Men 3 few weeks ago and it's not as bad as I remembered. For instance, the political aspect is pretty cool and the Beast is awesome, but I think that's it.
*Crying baby Scott*
*Phoenix not a space monster*
*Fat thin mutant*
*Crap angel*
*Evil mutants are all heavy metal fans or emos.*
WTF...
Steve Rogers I like that moment when Charles is about to die and Erich yells "Charles!!" A
it's not terrible. About as bad as your first movie Steve.
The First Avenger has nothing special, I agree, but it's a good origin movie and works for its proposal.
+Steve Rogers the evil mutants were morlocks and they're kind of trashy looking so that's defendable
John Big Boss WTF?!?! The Last Stand makes CA: The First Avenger look like a masterpiece.
Honestly never thought this was a bad movie
Same here.
Neon Demon, hi!
Glad to hear that I`m not the only one. A lot of fans seem to hate "The Last Stand". It has flaws but I like the movie nevertheless.
The Cure Storyline was great in the Comics - like most X-Men stories from Joss Whedon - and I think it was not the worst movie adaption we saw in the Marvel Franchise (both Disney and FOX).
There are a few great dialogues. Like when Raven refuses to answer to her "slave name". I was impressed by the Beast (coming right from "Cheers", who would have thought that "Frazier" is a Mutant?) and like him much more than the teenager Beast version of the new films. He looks better and is more in character compared to his comic counterpart.) And of course I enjoyed the scenes with the Multiple Man. Not to mention that I adore Ellen Page as Kitty.
(What a cute little Mutant. Best looking Shadowcat ever.)
"The Last Stand" is not perfect and the first half is indeed better than the rest of it. But I can`t understand the hate it gets. And I have no clue why some fanboys and girls were upset about the fact that a few of their favorite characters got killed! Come on! We are talking about Marvel Comics!! Every Marvel Superhero has to die from time to time!!! It´s a superhero duty and Comic book law. ;)
I thought it was ok. not as good as the previous 2 but not terrible either
me too man..i actually thought this was a great movie..i still do
It wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. It just became popular to rip on Brett Ratner for some reason(s), and people were/are butt-hurt that the Dark Phoenix Saga wasn't as grand as they always imagined it was gonna be. The Wolverine Origins movie was leaps and bounds worse that Last Stand but you hardly hear mention of it.
"I'm the Juggernaut bitch!" was a reference to a fan dub of the 90's X-men cartoon that was popular on pre-CZcams internet around time X3 was being made. Problem is barely anybody knew that at the time and newcomers sure as fuck don't know about it now, so that line just stands out as needlessly stupid.
Cool trivia
To me it felt stupid then to acknowledge internet fandom with that line during a semi serious superhero film. Seemed like a bit of a tone break.
This is a guilty pleasure movie for me.
Same for me
Me too!
It’s a 5/10.
"don't let him be a twin brother he can just inhabit..."
that is actually one of the few canon moments to the comics though...
This one hurt the series a lot (and it did not do the source material justice) and X-Men Origins: Wolverine didn't help either. Thank God that X-Men: First Class saved this franchise.
EndCreditReviews DOFP*
That one was really great, but X-Men: First Class was the best X-Men movie in a long time when it came out.
Every single one of the X-men movies hasn't done the source material justice. Almost every character was done incorrectly from their background, to their personality, to their character arcs. The 90's Animated Series was much more true to form.
Examples:
Rogue isn't a damsel in distress, she's a bad ass that kills people with her touch and has the ability to fly and hit people like a truck, she was a bad guy to start, killed Ms.Marvel which allowed her to have the super human strength and the ability to fly. She has hands down the best romance of the entire series with Gambit. (Cyclops and Jean are way too boring) Movies didn't keep any of that and had her romance like every single X-men except Gambit lol.
Jean, Phoenix Arc, completely ruined. Lack of Emma Frost being a villain leads to her not having a good nemesis.
Wolverine: As good a Hugh Jackman plays him, he's supposed to be short and ugly. His entire Japan backstory throughout multiple movies was done incorrectly. (Fighting Lady Deathstrike like he never even met her)
I could keep going but it'd be like a thousand page paper on how much they ignored the source material.
True, but this one diverted from the source material the most and from the tone of the first two movies a lot.
Nokturnal Lex Wolverine not being short and ugly is not a big deal at all lmao.
4:54 Chris pretty much summed up all of Game of Thrones, years before we were all let down.
Hahaha
Hes talking about one episone, final season. In GoT case its whole 2 seasons. I was preapared for a lots of bullshit but they exceeded my expectations.
Chris you missed the obvious continuity error. Shadow Cat is a teenager in the film. She was about 10 in the previous file when he she screams and runs through all the walls.
Malkav The Mad good catch but remember in the first one they had her as a teenager girl then she was a little girl then they made up their minds and made her Ellen Paige.
5:10 ish So basically Arrow seasons 3&4?
Shelf Strider yeah:(
Shelf Strider season 4 was solid.
And I guess The Wolverine is season 5
Tell that to Zod's snapped neck
LegendarySpartan117 fuck that bullshitty fucked
Have you tried having a productive dialogue with Zod's neck?
Dude, knock it off.
The same way (not muh) superman knocked off Zod's head? no thanks!
LegendarySpartan117 get out of here!
I was so disappointed when this first came out, but I've softened up toward it over the years. I wish they had just focused on the cure storyline and left out Dark Phoenix. I could even forgive the non-cosmic Phoenix story (it's okay for the movies to be different than the comics) but by trying to squeeze two completely different plots into one movie, they both suffered. And I still do feel really cheated that we've never gotten a chance to see Cyclops really be the leader. But there are far worse movies out there than X3. If it's on TV, I don't mind watching it. I agree with what Chris said: It has characters I love so I like just seeing them. And the score to this film really is quite good. That's its most redeeming quality.
Chris please could you review the King Kong film from 2005 before Kong: Skull Island comes out?
Also the older King Kong movies and Toho Kong movies.
Deadgod91 to be honest im very excited for kong skull island, but i think its gonna be really bad
If it lessens your concern then you should know that WB is doing 139 advance screening for the movie; they wouldn't have done that if the movie sucked. E.G. Independence Day: Resurgence had no early screenings because the studio didn't want to tarnish the film's potential profits and they knew it sucked. I think the movie is going to be really good.
Deadgod91 When I fully think about it, it's not gonna be terrible I just think it will be very very average. The concept is simple: King fights these Skullcrawler monsters on the island and that's it. The characters look one dimensional and have no personality and it just looks very basic. Some of the shots of Kong also have very questionable cgi. They've also copied off Godzilla 2014 a little as in the trailer one says "they weren't tests they were trying to kill something" which is the exact same thing from Godzilla. What you said about the advances screenings though does bring me a little bit of relief :)
BeeTeeDoubleYou9 Well yeah there will be but it still feels like theyve kinda borrowed a lot from that film
Last time I was this early Zod's neck was still intact
I'm not sure that I understand his complaint that the movie relied too heavily upon the others for its dramatic weight. Isn't that what you're supposed to do? Isn't the third film supposed to be the grand catharsis of what's been laid already? I don't expect them to lay the foundation for everything just so that the film can stand on its own. It doesn't have to stand on its own because it's a trilogy. If I'm missing something, can someone explain this to me?
Ethan O'Sullivan yea I agree. The third movie in a trilogy should not waste time developing the characters we already know well from 2 movies.
Ethan O'Sullivan Your right
Dude you just described Game of Thrones, except the one crappy episode, is the entire season 6.
No season 6 is fine season 5 was trash
😬 Boy, do I got news for you.
I loved Vinnie Jones as Juggernaut! He was over-the-top, but just so enjoyable to watch! He's just a natural badass in whatever film role he's in!
This beard tho 😍
My guilty pleasure is Juggernaut. He is so over top I love him
I'm not gonna lie.I know the film sucks,But it's definitely one of my biggest guilty pleasures.
Kelsey Grammer was my favorite part of this film. Such a great casting choice.
This and Spider-Man 3 weren't nearly as bad as people think.
Spider-Man 3 had the misfortune of having an excellent predecessor so it had a lot to live up to and people's expectation were high. The combination of too many villains and a dip in script quality due to the studio pressuring Raimi into including Venom (when he didn't want to) meant that people remember it as being worse than it is. That's my take on it, it's still enjoyable and it's an ok film with a few shining moments like all of the fight scenes and Sandman first forming: that editing and cinematography combined with the music was gorgeous.
The Last Stand I feel is in the exact same boat, though with the obvious problem of having an inferior director.
Liam Powell spiderman 3 had the best amount of action scenes in a spiderman movie although nothing ever topped the train scene
The810kid Yet spidey vs venom sucked ass
@@fox2569, pretty much. I do enjoy Spider-Man 3, nowhere near as good as its predecessor but it’s a fun movie
they both fairly the same too, way too much plotlines making into a messy movie with some good scenes throughout
Just rewatched it (after many many years, possibly over a decade since last time I watched it!)
Honestly, it was SUCH an enjoyable, fun, and easily rewatchable superhero film!
Yes, the plot may be crunched up but the runtime being a little over an hour and a half...does fly by super fast, like a swift summer blockbuster breeze!
It has its flaws BUT it’s also got some major pros/strengths too!
1) all 5 original XMEN getting featured, for one! Including Archangel’s short but effective arc/scenes and Iceman powering up!
On top of BEAST finally having his bonafide SHINING moment! From the look, sound of him and even his suit jacket...it all worked perfectly!
2) Killing Xavier AND SCOTT...midway was a super bold, gutsy, ballsy, risky move...that imo raised the stakes and emphasized the pathos of a third film, in a trilogy...which at the time was not the norm at all...for a popcorn superhero film!
I think, ultimately that’s the reason why this film got as much flack as it did...people had an emotional attachment/reaction to it/all those legacy characters dying that,
in retrospect after all those years and decades of MCU deaths and higher stakes...feels not as painful as it originally did, yet still EFFECTIVE in kicking the drama into high gear!
3) the debating themes of THE CURE, and an injection /jab/vax being the answer...it’s polarizing effect amongst both mutants AND between them and humans...in a post 2020 Pandemic/Cov-19 world...feels oddly downright PROPHETIC! At best!
Predictive and ahead of its time, at worst!
Quite FASCINATING and layered to take in, after the current climate of 2020-2022
UNCANNY and chilling to ponder on!
4) the special and practical effects were and still are AH MA ZING! They Still hold up very strong...especially the initial Sentinel Simulation Room fight as well as the final battle,
especially JEAN/Phoenix going ballistic with Fire/Water/Rain/Lightning all layering around her, as people vanished to ashes...
also...Kitty’s run alongside Juggernaut is oddly VERY fun and satisfying!!!
5) LOVED how at its core, the film is about pushing on against life’s tragedies and finding a way to continue on...staying United and doing what is RIGHT...as true heroes would
(I cried during Storm’s Eulogy at Xavier’s funeral, it hit me so much harder as an adult having lost so many people I love in my life...compared to when I originally watched it for the first time...all those moments of grief NEVER really registered with me!)
And on top of all of that...it was about
6) the EPIC LOVE between Wolverine and Jean Grey caught up in this pyramid of pain with Cyclops already having paid the price...and the sacrifices necessary for the greater good!
Those are all mature and dark themes, that we have come to CRAVE for and deeply desire more of them, in the MCU after getting mostly safe, vanilla storylines UNTIL endgame and phase 4 (WandaVision and Loki etc.) for over 10 plus years!
Again, only pointing towards HOW BOLD and FEARLESS (and yes messy! At times) those FOX films were being...
All in all, in retrospect I don’t find THE LAST STAND to be as BAD as everyone made it out to be...the truth is...it’s MUCH BETTER than other Marvel films...
Definitely better than DARK PHOENIX imo!
Gotta say tho....Cyclops was underused and not utilized properly, just like Rogue!!!
This is your best review yet...Made me laugh. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas Chris.
Have you not seen the "juggernaut bitch" animated thing on CZcams? Watch it for a few minutes, it's awesome and it's the reason behind the line in Last Stand. I laughed so hard in the theatre when he said it - but I was the only one sadly.
The Last Stand is better than Superman Returns
waayyyy beter
Yup
Randall Hogg Agreed but not much.
Randall Hogg Yeah, but that's not really saying much.
Not really.

Almost at 1 million! :) great job Chris
Wolverine being a substitute teacher in a school for mutants isn't that odd lol
you dont understand why professorX live again?
try to watch when he discuss about the unconcious men video from dr. moira mctaggert
thank you
this film wasn't terrible, just disappointing in its execution and storytelling. like i was happy about the inclusion of storm being more prominent in the film, singer and the writers have said they didn't know what to do with storm in the first 2 films so rattner wanted to put storm in more of the film for the story and make her an actual person part of the x-men team. i liked what they did with Jean grey being a person with DID or bipolar instead of some cosmic entity that took over her body since they didn't even do any space shit to back it up. loved kelsey grammer as beast, was perfect for the part and one of the high points for the film. i hate how they put too many new characters in the film, did we really need juggernaut? did we really need that porcupine mutant dude?? did they really need to do the mutant cure thing while the phoenix story too?? did we really need angel in the film????? why did they have characters just wait around to do stuff??? like jean grey is losing her mind, why would she be hanging out with magneto and other mutants that are nowhere near her level of power where she could easily just kill everyone and be done?? couldn't they make fanka a better wig than what they gave her?? lace wigs were around since the 1920's they have all that money to spend but can't find a good believable wig for her to wear??? they should've focus on the phoenix stuff only in the third and at the end they introduced the cure bc of the destruction jean has caused to humans and mutants, would've been better. also they did nothing with rouge again , no powers of flight or super human strength at all. i know fox doesn't have the rights to ms marvel but you mean to tell me there wasn't another mutant character she couldn't get the same powers from??? had a lot of potential but didn't meet it bc of time and focusing on action pieces instead.
been watching chris for about 3 months now, Starting to get weirdly good at guessing what his score for a movie will be just by how he talks about it. Love the content Chris, keep it up.
I've been waiting on your collab with John! That should be a fun watch, as per usual, aha.
The FX was pretty good, especially the movement when flying. It did feel rushed and lost it a bit at the end.
Chris if you're going over marvel stuff you should review the blade movies! Especially the 1st one, so underrated
Ey Chris, question please!! How do you make audience feel for the characters and what happen to them?? thanks. Amazing content as always (thumbs up)
I'm glad your channel has grown so much.
i love this movie, easily the weakest of the original trilogy, but still pretty cool, this one is my biggest "WTF, everyone hates this movie??" ever
carpos p Lol
Yeah, this along with Spider-Man 3 is a movie that just makes me go "Why does everyone hate this movie so much?"
4:54 who else thought of Game of thrones while he was saying this
Hey bud, digging the X-Men Reviews. Wondering if your going to do X-Men Days Of Future Past: The Rogue Cut?
Hey Mr. Stuckmann. Could you please make a top 10 favorite movies list, doesn't necessarily need to ranked, just the top 10. OR could you review some old golden age hollywood movies (Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, City Lights, Psycho etc.) That would be pretty cool... and nice :)
i just dont like what they did with Leech. i really like that character. Also i dont like what they did to Juggernaut.
I like X3. It reminds me of T3: not as good as the two movies that proceeded it, but attempts to make up for it with more action. My biggest issue with X3 is that Ratner opted not to include a shot of Phoenix rising from the water, one of the most iconic images in X-Men history.
Vin Ucci Same here
I dont think this is a bad movie.I mean yes compared to the first two its not good as them but still okey.
Also another great scene is what Magneto says to Pyro after Profesor X in the forest
umm you never mentioned how AMAZING the soundtrack is, by John Powell. :(
I like this more than X-Men 1 honestly.
pirates of the Caribbean reviews?
Chris where did you get that shirt? I friggin' love it
Please review the Flash Tv Series sometime. Would to love hear your opinion about it!
I'm a Juggernout, Bitch! Great line.
The Last Stand is the movie equivalent of The Walking Dead.
4:55 - 5:25
WOW! I think Chris perfectly summed up my thoughts on the MLP episode “What About Discord”.
So we're not even gonna mention how amazing Jean vs Charles was?
The rogue/kitty thing TOTALLY makes sense. It's what causes her to get the cure
Not gonna lie., I f*cking LOVE X3. It was the only X-Men film (at the time) that we saw them actually fight *AS A TEAM!* The first 2 films COMPLETELY ignored the fact that in the comics and tv show, they would work together to defeat their foes, so I loved it. With that said, I have some issues with Chris' review. How can he penalize X3 for basically being a sequel? He doesn't give the emotional moments of the film credit simply because he says that he only cares for characters because of the first 2 films setting them up so good. Well...that's how it is in most EVERY sequel. They rarely set up the characters in them (since you likely saw the previous films), so they get right into the story,. Hell, some sequels literally start right where the previous film left off, so they don't have time to give you a detailed backstory on that character's history, so I did not understand Chris' point there. Also, "I'm the Juggernaut, Bitch!" gets a lot of hate today, but when I saw that scene in theaters back in 2006, not only did the audience cheer loudly when he said it, but HALF of them said the line right along with him, so they clearly loved it...and so did I :)
Kool Keith Productions i agree with you! I love X3.
You're right, criticizing a film for not re-setting up all the characters when there are already two previous films that did that for you is bizarre
The music was amazing though
thanks for mentioning the post-credit scene because I honestly had no idea it existed. I've always believed that Charles was actually dead after the Last Stand because I only got to the scene in which Magneto is playing chess and he manages to use his powers again (?) now that I've discovered that bit of information I can see Days of Future Past and First Class from a different perspective omg
Huh, I'm surprised you were quite easy on this film, I thought you would be as hard on it as you were on Spider-Man 3.
Tornado Chaser This movie never happened
Tornado Chaser I always felt x-men 3 and Spider-man 3 were in the same quality.
Well at least they did the Juggernaut better in Deadpool 2
I enjoy your videos and was wondering if you've ever thought of reviewing short movies by you tubers
Hey Chris will you review the movie Lion? I watched it today and I bawled my eyes out, it's such a good film in every aspect and I'm curious how you feel about it!
Please review Fargo! (Tv show)
Jcvks Just finished season 2, ameizing
Hey Chris when you were talking about how much you love a good show and you can forgive it for the bad episodes I thought directly to Buffy in season 5 when Dawn is introduced
Also please review Buffy
Jake P. I think Dawn begins to become a better character in season 7, but I really didn't like her when she was first introduced.
Daisy Gomez but season 5 was one of the best seasons of TV Whedon ever did though
I always watch your reviews if I want to see someone ranting.
BTW, love the t-shirt.
Great review as usual Chris!
Review all the Alien films before covenant comes out!
We don't want the Cure for Wellness!
nice review Chris
I was wondering if you could add Imperial Dreams into the list of future reviews. it a great film i would like to see what you think of it
hi Chris! just asking, where'd you get that awesome shirt?
