I'm attempting to install one like this. The plastic spacer appears threaded but it's not. I was worried about forcing it on as there's no clearance to screw it on as the hoses are blocking that. Did you force it on or file the ridge inside the plastic gasket that's "threading"
Done wrong!!!!! Metal bracket should be touching screws!!!!! Plastic C bracket should be touching underside of sink then the metal bracket then the screws
thanks for the video... there's no gasket ring sticker comes with my purchaseed single handed delta meka product.... is that ok? because I've seen some videos that shows using a gasket sticker to insure fixing the faucet..
I was going crazy over that too. There is a plastic black ring, with an inner ring for the same part you put the brass ring and all that on. But it goes on top of the counter, if all that makes sense

I'm currently having this same issue. Pretty sure it has to be forced, but it's a complete pain in the behind.
I started threading it on but took it out and filed it.

What is the name of the grey plastic you're using to stabilized the valve - it's like a converter, or plate for stabilization?
Sorry, not really sure what it’s called but it’s a stabilizing plate that came with the faucet.
What size is the brass but my sink didn’t come with one
