Never got to see Joe Cocker in this period, missed him at Lincoln Festival but saw him at Hammersmith just before he passed, he looked older and unwell and his voice was not at its best ... but when he sang the line If I sing out of tune will you walk out on me ... the audience meant it when they screamed out NO.This was his song R.I.P Mr Cocker

Joe Cocker transcended all the blues-folk-rock-pop labels that some tried to put on him over the years. At the end of the line, all we can say is that he was an immense talent. I have always wondered if it was Tommy Eyre here.
