- My cat Cookie has multiple concurrent chronic health issues. She is currently on three medications, two of which must be administered twice daily and the third once daily. I tried my best to find a way to make medication time as pleasant as possible for all parties involved - cat and human. This isn't a sprint, it's a marathon, as Cookie will need to be medicated for the rest of her life. However, Cookie doesn't know any better, all she knows is that she gets special treats twice a day everyday. I really hope this can help someone who is looking for options on how to medicate his or her furry friend.
By the way, compounded medications can really help make medicine administration much more pleasant for everyone. However, the downside is the cost.

my cat friend Linux is so picky about what he eats that it would be almost impossible to trick him into taking medication this way, i've tried giving him treats and he always turns his head and walks away. he won't eat soft food either. the food i had him eating when he was younger got discontinued and it almost drove me crazy finding something similar from a differnt brand. luckily he is very healthy but he sometimes gets into fights with the neighbors' cats defending his territory so i worry about him catching something that way. i hope to be able to get him a much larger yard with no neighbors someday but that yard is so far away. thanks for sharing.
