I am new to ARs. It took me a couple of hours to put back the charging handle. There are many Videos showing how to take this AR a part and put it together but none of them show the trick. The charging handle does not go in as easy as you show it. Please highlight those areas that you yourself had difficulties with when you were just starting. Thank you
The charging can be difficult. You have to install it onyl half way. You must slide it in slightly while allowing it to ride the upper portion of the receiver. It has a slot that the notches fall into. Once it's in it notches you then install the bcg. I do not have thos rifle any longer as it belongs to a friend. I hope you were able to get yours back together.
I found it at the local big box store. If you are looking for an aresol spray, you can use rem oil or Birchwood as well. They will all work well for a spray cleaning oil.
