Looking at the owners manual, it doesn't suggest disassembly of the Bolt. However if your so inclined, feel free. Very easy to field strip and maintain.
I bought a Sport model last Fri as my first rifle and went and shot it today for the first time. I brought it home after 300 rounds and cleaned it wasn't bad - the barrel. Only thing is getting that spring back on the bolt carrier....
@@desertdwellers7294 thanks for replying! I understand. This is my first rifle purchase and I'm working to educate myself. I did pick up some breakfree CLP as suggested by some buddies. The general consensus of firearms owners kd they love the stuff too. I watched another cleaning video that said to avoid getting any solvent on or in the firing pin but you and others spray and lube away all over it. I'm not sure what's correct
@@KineticsReborn, I've never had any part of a gun damaged by solvent, maybe the other guy has had a problem with it happening. It never hurts learning as much as you can about something before trying it for the first time. There are things I have little to no experience with that I'll watch a lot of CZcams videos on before trying it.

I want more neighbors like this

Thanks for the video
Never clean from the bore, always clean from the beach.
what cleaning solvent are you using? I dont recall if you stated that or not
I still use Hoppe's #9, I doubt it's any better or worst than any other solvent, it's just that I've been using all my life.

Is that a 5inc barrel n where I can buy one?
It is 6 1/2 inch. The gun was originally made as a pistol. I got the tax stamp to convert to a SBR.
