    In some ways I can understand AJs friend having his back. But do we really live in a world where youre not allowed to criticise someone anymore, in the fear of offending them?...Bottom line is AJ has shown over the years that he cant take criticism. From when he called Lennox Lewis a clown after the Ruiz loss, to confronting those students for trolling him, to throwing a tantrum after the second Usyk fight, to now this thing with Froch. The best way he can prove everyone wrong and shutting them up, is by going back to the drawing board, learning from his mistakes and delivering in the ring, where it truly matters. The biggest irony is that AJ, with all his power, strength and imposing physique, has shown to be very thin-skinned.

    • @Jezeb2k
      @Jezeb2k Před 9 měsíci +28

      Hasn’t AJ acknowledged that he’s in a sport where a lot of eyes watch and will criticise? What BS narrative you trying to spin that he’s beyond criticism. He simply pointed out sometimes he gets unfair criticism and if he did what fury is now doing Davies, Simon and the fury cheerleaders would be singing a different tune!

      @@Jezeb2k what have I said that isn't true?...didnt all those things transpire over the years, or was it just a dream?..yes Joshua has made statements, but simply hasn't responded well to constructive criticism, when called out. The fact that youre making comparisons to Fury, plenty of people have ridiculed Fury and Warren for taking this fight with Ngannou, but you conveniently leave that out, to fit your own narrative. I'm simply a boxing fan trying to look at this objectively. The fact that you have to pick and choose for your own justification, has more unconcious bias than mine ever did.

      AJ should be more humble regarding what and where Rob had taken him. I would love to see AJ go to Kronk gym and I believe that would make him the best he could be as every HW that has gone to Kronk has excelled and I believe that would be his best option if Fury was to leave Kronk. I never rated Fury until he went to Kronk as he was afraid to sit down n his shots and take an opponent out, his movements have always been excellent he just didn't have that power shot which he now possess which has come from training at Kronk. Kronk in my opinion are the best trainers in HW boxing and AJ would be almost unbeatable if he learnt to have that killer instinct again as he lost that in the Ruiz bout and he should have on paper taken usyk out but he tried to out box a boxer, he should of steam rolled him from the get go and used his attributes to his advantage but he played right into usyks hands twice. Maybe Rob had taken him as far as he could but he should show respect for what he had done. I think a sports psychologist would be a great idea as he needs that confidence again. I am hoping his dislike for Whyte will bring out the aggressive side of him and we see the AJ of old.

    We are well aware of AJ's shortcomings, and it's reassuring that he recognizes the need for improvement. Undoubtedly, AJ has made significant contributions to the sport of boxing and served as an inspiration to numerous other fighters. However, there exists a fighter with a belt who is, regrettably, tarnishing the reputation of boxing. Strangely, the criticism aimed at this fighter, especially on channels like TalkSport, remains minimal, perhaps merely to appease disgruntled fans.
    While AJ's impact in the boxing world may be temporary, the same cannot be said for Tyson, who appears to be causing irreversible damage, especially for fighters in their 30s who require top-level opponents to propel the heavyweight division forward. AJ, during his time as a titleholder, never shied away from facing worthy challengers, ensuring that he played his part in boxing the right way, regardless of any emotional outbursts in the ring.
    Recently, the CZcams channel Sporting Icon provided conclusive evidence that the Ngannou fight had been planned much earlier in the year, further supporting my argument. For an extensive period of six months, Tyson and his promoter, Frank Warren, seemingly kept the heavyweight division in a state of uncertainty, cleverly avoiding a matchup with Usyk, while guiding Warren's other boxer, Dubois, to face Usyk instead.
    Regarding Carl, though I appreciate his work, it appears that he tends to focus on popular news stories, sometimes straying into the realm of sensationalism purely for the sake of attracting attention.
    Interestingly, AJ now acknowledges the validity of Lennox Lewis's past critiques, indicating that any criticism aimed at his former trainer is something he has come to accept.

    Froch 1 - 0 AJ Yes Man. Froch is absolutely right, AJ has had a great career, but does not have a legacy … to have a legacy he needs to have beaten Usyk, beat Wilder and beat (or at least give a good account of himself against) Fury. Fury is the best of the generation and just putting up a good fight would be good enough. However, he can’t beat Usyk, and both Wilder and Fury would knock him out (in my opinion). The problem lies in the legacy question, which was posed by Simon Jordan.
    Joshua hasn't finished yet, so as Froch said you can't judge his legacy until that day comes. Froch could've said that, but knows he gets more publicity for his CZcams channel by saying something controversial as its AJ, same as his comments about Fury/Warren.
