To get Acid from the medicine cabinets, open them to generate the loot, close it and leave the loot in, then us an axe to brake the cabinet to have a chance for Acid. The loot will drop in a bag when you destroy the cabinet so you can still collect it.
trader rewards are dog crap in this game now. for tier 4 fetch/clear quest the trader rewarded me with these delicious items to choose from: 5 mechanical parts or 10 lockpicks or 1 skill book (already maxxed) or 1 skill book or 1 sham chowder. just glorious.
Bruh, compared to me in alpha 21 day 15 with max daring adventurer, that is garbage. I got just got level 3 tactical assault rifle for doing a tier 3 location.
@@frozenburst6463yeah you said the keywords “alpha 21” 😂 it’s a good change they just need to tweak the rewards. They nerfed them to hard I’m my opinion. I just take skill magazines about 99% of the time. But the a21 rewards were wayyyyy OP. Good times. 💜
Note, in order to get the acid from the med box you need to leave something in it.
Do you know if the chemistry piles need to be chopped with an axe or a wrench to have the best chance for acid?

3:40 if im not mistaken I’ve heard that the medical cabinet needs to be searchable in order to get acid from it when you destroy it. I could be wrong though (good chance I am lol)
It's funny looking at the quality of loot between you and isyzen on day 13 vs day 30. You have a level 6 stunbaton and he's still using a level 4 stone spear
Level 4 stone spear on day 30? Is he playing on Nomad? (Not that there's anything wrong with playing lower difficulties.)

to get acid out of those cabinet, you need to axe them when they have something in it, so, put cloth or rotten meat in it, before picking the rest, and then axe it down.
Or open the cabinet, close the cabinet and chop it. The loot will drop in a backpack.
The betrayal! Where is the level 6 iron shovel?
I'm fine with the nerfed trader rewards, however now questing is almost pointless aside from double looting certain poi, and to complete the challenges. Maybe instead of better trader rewards, there should be a small loot stage bonus to the end loot of any poi they send you to.
It just seems to me that the fun police just want you to loot for magazines and not necessarily loot for anything else. It used to be cool to find random good stuff in POI end loot, or the quest rewards. But now, it's just a scramble to find as many magazines as possible, and then craft your own shit.
Give it 8 months modders are gonna come along and do the games mechanics 20x better lol.

Tried 2 of the new T5 Pois, to look at them, and will never ever go again unless it's multiplayer. They are stacked with zeds like they are a bad compo pack POI (you know the kind I mean). I ran out of ammo in Grover High, and there were just too many tanky rads in Army Post 7 (4-6 in every single room). Makes me appreciate Dishong/Higashi/Vanity.
Have you met any dire wolves yet? They're terrifying. I had one show up on a horde night. Then seen one running with 6 zombie dogs. I hauled ass outta there.
I was doing a bunch of tier 3's just fine, got the tier 4 Fort Quonset poi, bunch of feral soldiers up top, no big deal, after the first wave in the bunker, the basement area had 6 radiated soldiers, and a bubble boi. Day 9, still had regular old pistol, spent all but 2 bullets on them. My reward was like 10 glue, seriously not worth the bullet sponges.
That feral wight is guaranteed. I found that poi in the desert in A21 when I climbed on that crate to fight of a wandering horde. It was a pleasant surprise to say the least when the horde shunted him up onto the roof with me.
I found this poi on day one and it was a feral lumberjack. Needless to say I was not ready for him. Almost ashamed it was all documented. Seems it is always a tough zombie, but not feral wight guaranteed
I would not say that a wight is guaranteed, but a feral - 100%.

I've a challenge for you!
After finishing this series, don't delete de world. Do this:
1- Craft every single legendary armor set and weapon
2- Run T5/T6 POIs on every single build available
3- Evaluate what is the best build so far
With the way that loot is hit or miss, the optimal strategy would definitely be to Max out nerdy armor right off the bat, and raid every book store in existence. Might be doable.
I mean that seems like alot. The armor sets up to 5/6 would be nice to see. I’ve haven’t seen anybody with them.
continuation based on new discoveries from my comment yesterday.
in A21 steel shovels use the same amount of stamina as iron shovels, but have higher durability and the same swing speed (extra damage is mostly pointless but might mean you can skimp out on 1 miner perk)
i learned today that not only do you get a 10% exp penalty for gathering per rank of miner 69er (-50% at rank 5) but all mods that increase block damage (bunker buster, iron breaker, woodsplitter and the others) also reduce exp from gathering by 10%.
ontop of that, steel tools also have a 10% exp reduction, where augers and chainsaws get a 30% exp penalty.
so, because leveling is now discouraged because of the book learning, because steel tools also apply a exp penalty from digging, steel tools are now better than iron tools.
just found 4 random rad zombies digging a hole in the snow in an area i had never explored before, they were just chilling and digging. also had a airdrop land 3 or 4 blocks into the wasteland and it had 100 steel blocks in it
They need to make a wood pile furniture or something that auto manages fuel in your area after you build it. Just keep it full of wood.
The big oil storage pois now have a lot more shale in them now, FWIW.
My thoughts is to just check medium-large towns for crack-a-books and savage country. Get 100 armor skill and hoard most of the other books. Craft a rank 6 Nerd Chest to read everything else. Maybe even as soon as you get your bicycle this is the way to go. Scrap some street-lights on the way.

You've shown how op the nerdy armor is. I think they should change the buff it gives with the set bonus, to prevent being able to craft one piece and accelerate progression as much as the chest does.
So you just craft the whole set and wear it when you read

@@elduquecaradura1468 Yeah but I think this one would be a fine change unlike the Lockpicking change, this would have made the most sense to begin with, a Set Bonus should always be balanced to be the best thing you get from the armor, if anything. You'd be more inclined to do things the old way, but if you want to minmax, go ahead and just use up those 3 extra slots on your other 3 armor pieces and be rewarded for your troubles.
You'd need 4 epic parts, and 24 armor crafting kits, rather than 1 epic part and 6 armor crafting kits...much harder to achieve early enough to exploit it. Why rush progression, any way. Once you have all the top gear, the game is pretty much over. The fun is in the chase not the finish.
At your lvl, you should check some clothes stores ;)

@@thedarkuk248 true, i wonder what lore is, maybe the rivers are so contaminated even boiling won't make it safe. boiling while it does kill bacterial it won't kill harmful chemicals.
I got a Feral cop in that container in the junkyard. It's randomised but horrible.
i scrap the engines and sell the mech parts.. a fat stack goes for over 6k dukes ive a ranger hat with cigar and a .44 mag held and better barter and adventure maxed so i get closer to 8k lol electrical parts are the same ya never only really need close to 50 mech and ele parts at any given time unless ya making tons of defense traps lol though only "full" rides net gas and good parts im seeing
you need to keep your loot in it wen you scrap the medical cabinet for the acid , inspect it first so you don't loose the loot .

Day 14 on the desert near the wasteland and I already have the following:
T5 AK47
T2 Sniper rifle (most broken weapon)
T1 SMG 5 (found it in some random ammo stach)
I didn't craft any of this nor looted it from the desert, just going to the wasteland every 3-6 days.
I really recommend living near the wasteland and I also recommend the desert biome for the early game, and later (probably day 6 or 8) go to the wasteland and get some of the most broken shit without wasting your time on this shity book system.
DO NOT ENTER THE WASTELAND AT NIGHT ESPECIALLY ON PERMA DEATH AND AVOID COP CARS!

I still don't understand why keeping so many brass radiators ? You only need one for a vehicule mod.
You can scrap the rest then sell stack of brass to the trader for easy money

Questing absolute DOGSHIT for REWARDS. I dont want to build a crafting base. I dont want to be obligated to sit there and mine for hours to blow levels. Questing should reward you chunks of XP specially the higher tiers, like clearing a long ass T5-T6. I turn off horde nights, its pointless and boring. Sit on a roof, with a rifle or bow and camp. Knife combat is dogshit as well, the Bleed slows are BAD, it should bare minimum be 10% Slow per BLEED STACK, this way you can actively fight in combat and not get meleed through your attack, and you can force a heavily bleeding enemy to slow for your headslice with a machete (max 7 bleed stacks = 70% max slow per enemy - would drastically improve the knife combat experience giving you breathing room late game). The sneak system sucks, poi zombies set to attack mode will auto lockon to you when you trigger the room points in later tiers and its lame. You have to dump so many levels into stealth and combat for it and it still feels awful. The entire early-midlate game is pure pain.
I got a legendary desert vulture red box out of an air drop in snow biome... can't believe my luck to get the max lvl pistol when I was only on sub machine gun lvl 1 in my progression... has anyone seen something like that? It looked something like a farm bundle box but was red...

Every time I start up a new world in this game I just can't be arsed to do anything to progress. Even with the new system, somehow the game still feels like too much of a grind, and has always been. I don't even have the co-op achieves on my new (8 yrold) steam account, like no-one even wants to play this Dumb Stupid Bad Sandbox Voxel Game. The Fun Pimps have created one of the most defendant, toxic players of a fundamentally shit game. And now they want me to pay extra to get 1.0 Nothanksbruv. hope your top down tanks, whateve don't care.
Good vid tho prebuilt, if all you do is show me shit games that I don't want to touch ever again so be it. I like your voice and I play shit mobile games with your voice on my headset, you know just for funsies!
