Launched a bird the other night. Next I hear is a friend of server scream as a zombie bird landed at his feet outside of base. Base was 350m away.
One way to cheese even more the quest system: when you find a crack a book POI quest, you can start it to reset the POI and then cancel the quest so it will stay in the trader list to do. and there is a good chance of seeing that quest again.
The rewards for lvl 2-3 are so low that it is more profitable to do certain POI that way and keep them in the loop.
I hadn't thought about it that way, thanks for the idea.
I just farm the quest like 10 times before finishing it. Connecting and DC for restart

Just saying sending a mob into low orbit never gets old to me. Only issue is when your doing a clear and you send someone off the top of a tall building and you know its going to be a full 5 minutes until they find you again.
This was the most entertaining hoard night video I've seen thus far. Specifically, cuz you don't have a base and kept calm the whole time
You know, Bob's Boars and Carl's Corn has several solutions for your glue problem. First, Super Corn can be used to turn into glue, and it has both the recipe and the seeds. Second... Grace is made of leather and bones.
That was great that you forgot to bring a pipe for repair and then a search for a pipe brought you to a funner place for the horde:)
If you want a really good way to make a ton of Dukes quickly, go out wrenching cars for a day (preferably while wearing some scavenging gear and using hackers candy to get the bonuses), then craft stacks of Minibike Handlebars. These stack to 50 Handlebars per stack and the trader will buy up to 3 stacks. Each stack of 50 can sell for upwards of 27,000 Dukes if you use a Sugar Butts candy, Bartering drink, and the .44 bartering bonus. There is also a head armor that boosts the selling by another 5%. This means, if you actually make 3 full stacks of handlebars, that would earn you nearly 85,000-90,000 Dukes.
I haven't played 1.0 yet, but as an obsessive-compulsive chair scrapper one thing I'm never short of is leather. Or wood. Ok that was 2 things - I would have included iron as well but that's more of a steady low-level supply as opposed to enough to load up the forge.
Friends ask me why I grab every chair I see. "Have you ever been low on leather? You're welcome".
A tip that I discovered airdrops are actually kinda worth it when in the wasteland I was getting tier 5 armor and an smg-5 bundle at only loot stage 70ish
The wall mounted first aid cabinet can drop acid if wrenched. Also if you craft a purple ranger hat and put a cigar in its that’s an additional 20% barter. I keep one in my vehicle for when I visit traders

I stopped leaving my motorcycle out front of base when I came out to find a zombie trying to walk over it and did like 20% damage to it.

That feral wight in the junk yard is not guaranteed... but it was the first zombie i came across in my playthrough... did not go well... since then it has been regular zombies every time i stop by there
day 56 on my playthrough and i've had bleeding twice, i'm not doing anymore of the healing challenges no point, and even the 10 horde nights challenge, including today's one for me i still need 3 nights at full 7 days. and i've completed all tier 5 quests with tier 6 open,, not sure if i'll bother, may just start another playthrough.
I feel that. You probably have most of what you wanted already and it's just not worth the time, unless there's a decent payoff.

Junkin POI doesn’t guarantee a wight. I’ve had lumberjacks there as well. Either way probably all tough zombies so something to avoid.

I'm using legendary commando gloves - gives you 60% ranged damage. It's crazy.
There's quite a difference between some of these armor pieces. Some are OP and some are worthless. Just as I was thinking - if you want to get the bonuses you should go for the farming set and the mining set. Those two are helpful but it's a trade off. I have a routine down of changing my armor in my base to farm and carrying the mining set while wearing the full biker set. I really like the biker set.
The biker set really helps with gas - between when you have the motorcycle and you don't yet have the chem station to make gas.
I'm using all legendary armors most of the time - nerd goggles +20% xp, commando gloves +60% ranged damage, +20% against crit hits raider outfit and I kind of swap boots around. That all gives you about 78 armor rating.
I did the nerd outfit buff for reading magazines and it was just as much work trying to save them up to read a whole bunch at once then change out the armor. I just stick with the raider armor because that critical hit buff is really necessary this time around.
It would be so easy to get water if there was a hopper mod. Have a dew collector hoppering water to a storage box and poof infinity water

Easy answer is to tie game stage to days and not level. So you know that there will be like...radiated wights in pois and the streets by day 35 or something so you want to level to be ready instead of avoiding leveling so things dont get harder.
My favorite late game answer is digging a giant circular ditch about 6 blocks down and then covering it ( at ground level with cobble or concrete). Ride my minimize around that circle track. Bird don't spawn in there. Zombies are too busy chasing to dig.
Stay strong guys 18 more days for the console update 7 days to die if everything goes well.
maybe healing injuries on other players count for the challenges??? that would make sense but when have the pimps of fun ever been sensical...
So I'm just gonna say it , don't let the pine forest fool you like it has me. I'm playing 1.0 ver 313 as well both single and multi and uhhhh yea on multi a day 14 forest bloodmoon (BM) is equal to a single player day 28 forest BM which on BOTH can confirm you will probably get Dire Wolves but yea if my hunch is correct the day 21 BM in Multi will probably be the same strength as a day 42 BM single player and also .... after your gamestage hits over 55 in the Pine forest you may also start seeing wild Dire Wolves, I've seen 1 so far and I'm at day 34 on Nomad gamestage 63
don't sleep on the treasure maps, I have gotten good gold from them, like 20000 split between two off them

you get acid from scrapping first aid boxes that hangs from walls, not from chem sets
He's not wrong, there is a chance on breaking large chemistry piles to get acid (temreki did a special epsidoe showcasing it)

If you need money stacks of supercorn sell for over 5k woth the right armor/barter bonuses.
Would it be possible, if you do a respec, to explain a bit about the explosives tree for perks and books? I’m curious to see if throwables and the rocket launcher are all you get from that kind of play through or if there’s another weapon you get before the launcher.
The more I see of 1.0 the less I want to play it. I might exclusively play overhauls from this point on. Only trying vanilla until the mods are ready.
Hmm, i liked the gyro too, i don't know why so many people complain about the controls. I hope it being easier now doesn't mean we lose some of the control we had before due to being dumbed down, i'll have to try it as soon as i can unlock it again
It seems like you can get good loot rewards (t6 weapons, tools and armor) only for doing t6 infestations, atleast something.
T6 is craftable only

Also for bones and rotting flesh and other useful shit, I hate that you can’t loot and harvest killed zombies. I mean…I get it cause it’d be an obscene over abundance with the number of zombies in POIs and hoard nights, but at the same time, dead bodies would be at least SOMEWHAT useful in the apocalypse😂

The awesome sauce has been nerfed. Just gives 10 percent now however it can be stacked with sugar butts and any barter armor pieces.
In alfa version acid easy get from medical cabinets, from wall, just need keep in them some loot, and smash with axe, don't know if they not nerd that in 1.0

If you do all the quests for a city, you'll have to move to a different trader to get quests...
I did some quests in my city and rekt's closest job was 3.2km away or I could do buried supplies only...
It also seems like you can only get the T5 and T6 clears/infested clears once you've done ALL of them. Then it resets and you can do the POIs a second time...

No, for people who bought the game, they get 1.0 as an update. The thing that changes when 1.0 is released is that it is more expensive for those who didn't buy it when it was in alpha.
