I continue to be baffled by why my seedlings Phoenix, and Washingtonians seem to grow optimally in my grow tent... and when I put them outside for a month (bring them back in at night), they grow 15% of 100% of what they could have grown in the grow tent... I literally put one back in the tent for 3 days, and grew a whole lot more than what it did outside for 20 days. I am in Bogota Colombia, the sky mostly remains overcast with a few hours of direct sun light. No clue here, maybe lack of intense light. Have you noticed anything similar with seedlings and grow lights vs outside overcast?
Do you have a video on how to grow sabal because I have a sabal and I’ve had it for around 2 months but I haven’t noticed ANY growth I know there slow growers but do you think it’s ok? It’s my first time having a sabal lol
@@dasuper2064 water is important because they love swampy conditions and if it's transplant shock, they benefit from tons of water and they don't even mind poor soils, I have 2 sabal seedlings that I ripped out of an abandoned parking lot that were in pure construction clay and I have them in pretty good soil that never dries out and drains pretty well for a soil with not much perlite and lots of vermiculite, which was an accident, but they both recovered and are growing at a decent speed for a sabal in a nursery bag.
Awesomeness!! that's what I was looking for, I have lots of seeds from my favorite palm in my yard, Thanks !!
Great video, your a super fast talker
Nice collection you got there 🌴
Looking great bro!
Great informative video. Comparatively speaking would you say these are the fastest growing palms?
Nice are you going to protect the filiferas when they get a good trunk in the winter with them being more cold tolerant then robustas?
Can I also just put the seeds in a solo cup and put plastic wrap on top to serve the same purpose as a bag?
Pls how can i get filifera seed
Have 4 Cali palm growing. Hope I can get at least 1 to go
Love how these seedlings are so tough & can take abuse - James, do you like brahea armata palms?
