I just bought this set and added another small tool box and a parts box on top. I really like these boxes. I like how I can wheel this set around the yard and down by our lake to work on my boat, or inside my house for repairs. Thanks for this video.

The tough system 2.0 is good for two things Temporary storage for a Dyer and to transport your tools if you are moving or fixing something on the go, but I recommend everyone get a proper tool chest to keep at home. These are not meant to store things long term it's a pain to keep separating the system to look for something unless you get the wall rack but again at that point just get a tool chest.

I'd rather use the wall rack, that way you can have everything sorted out by the type of work you're doing, like how I've got most of my drill/drive stuff in one Small box.
The hand truck that uses the same arms is a much more flexible carrier than the wheeled box, as well.

@@1steelcobra This is a really good point. I’ve been debating whether or not to build my own wall rack or purchase the DeWalt rack.

Hahaha!! The foam is really a great addition to these trays. It feeds my need to have things organized and sorted. 🤣🤣

the 2.0 boxes are great, and they are waterproof, but if u are working in the rain and have to open ur box when its wet, the design lets at all drip right inside.
bit frustrating as the 1.0 didnt do this

I like the idea of tool boxes for storage and transport but for just my home and 2 of my businesses where I do my own maintenance I decided to go with the Hart system (5 pieces) for around $100. It seems to do the job OK but not overly impressed. In hindsight I probably should have gone with Dewalt or Milwaukee. I use a $300 Veto for a bag and have all Milwaukee M12 power tools so I’m not sure why I was being such a tight ass. 😂 Oh well live and learn.

Ha! I hear that! Thanks for this feedback and thanks for watching! I haven’t checked out the Hart system, but now I’m curious. I’ll have to see if I can take a look. So far, these Dewalt TS 2.0 boxes have been great.

There's 2 different tower sets. 1 for $199 and the other for $269 at home depot. Have you looked into the differences and what are they?

Yeah, because I want to lift off two tool boxes full of tools and three trays full of tools just to get to the one tool I need at the bottom of the big tote. But hey you made a commercial so you can get commissions from your affiliate links.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I actually gave an honest review based on my initial use. Did I put affiliate links in the video? Absolutely. It takes money to make these videos and I’m thankful for anyone who purchases from these links. That money goes back into more videos. Will I be doing a “one year later” review? Absolutely. 😉

DeWalt pack outs suck. They break. But don't worry they're coming out with a new setup that doesn't break It's only $1,000
