Thanks for coming along! It’s always a laugh out here even on the tough days there is humor and joy in the toughness itself

Did you hang a bear bag in Ocala? Anywhere else on the trail?

How many pairs of socks do you pack and do you have a pair of dry sandals/flip flops for camp site?

      Exactly

      (3) pairs of socks , but honestly would have preferred even (4) pairs for the FT, everyday it’s soaked feet.
Also no flip flops or sandals for camp, by the time we reach camp each night usually, eating and crawling into tent and that’s a wrap!

    Hi.
Based on what I saw in this video and a SOBO's video (channel: HopFrogg), there's a lot of water in the Osceola National Forest segment.
I watched a series on this trail (NOBO, channel Chris Berry) from 2016. Even though it was a fairly dry winter when he did the trail, even he commented the Osceola section was wet.
Question: I mentioned HopFrogg's SOBO hike - he did this section around March 6.
Did you by chance run into him (a solo hiker) somewhere in this area or in the Ocala NF?
Will continue following your hike north - enjoy the way you show so much detail of the trail.
God Bless for a safe trip...

We did not run into too many hikers actually... if he was there on March 6th we probably night hiked by, but yes it was incredibly incredibly wet

Yea definitely, once we have time in between trails, we have about a (2) week window here after a few more days of hiking that we will have time to update
