Thanks for filming! I was there and only got a few of their songs so I'm glad someone got the full set. It was also my first DEVO show, and they're my absolute favourite band ever!
Devo was my first concert. We left by Greyhound bus that picked us up at the HB pier and took us to Riverside. I was 14 and the year was 1980-81. My friend Stevo and I met up with two tourist girls we had met on the beach and saw the most high-energy show of my lifetime. The promoters had booked a double show but the band was completely spent. No way that second show was happening. When we got outside the angry ticketholders were rioting and breaking glass as we slipped away.
I still live here in HB. I had prior plans when I found about this show on Friday. It is still very cool that 44 years after the first time I saw them, they can still bring the house down. Thaks for posting this. It is the next best thing to being there.
They were awesome me and my dad had a blast left the world behind and enjoyed the sound of the 80s 👌
