Eventually, maybe the student learns that you can't let people judge you and ridicule you when they know barely anything about you.
A few interesting storylines could have to do with the lgbtq+ community. For example, someone could realize they have feelings for their best friend and be rejected. Also, a story about anorexia or social anxiety could be really interesting.

SJW cares about them a lot. But what about deaf people like myself? We dont scream aloud like this LGBT "WE ARE DEAF GIVE US ATTENTION". So, I think, this LGBT people should stop crying about it, nobody cares about your sexual orientation, keep it for yourself.
