Unfortunately he brings it all on himself by acting the pantomime baddie. All the grimacing, posturing, shouting, taunting the crowd. This has shown heâs a decent guy but I have to admit I love seeing him getting beat because of his on oche antics.
Fantastic interview lads, he's great for darts and came across really well.

Sounded like he enjoyed himself. Could imagine other people signing up for the show to please their agent but Gezzy had a good laugh with the boys
He didn't really think it through when he was being a d head with his celebrations and noising everyone up, maybe he should have been more middle of the road
Gerwyn is a credit to darts, not many like him on stage and why not give it a bit sometimes

About 9 years ago we saw van gerwin after the premier League out in a wetherspoons and he bought the entire bar a round, so I think he's not lying about him being generous.
He did the same here in holland. He's an awesome guy you can have a good laugh with him
Iâm Welsh so never had an issue with Gerwyn but it is reassuring to hear so many people on here admit that Gerwyn is good for the game of Darts. Darts needs atmosphere and Gerwyn always gets the crowd going one way or another.

I played van gerwen once at an exhibition.. he thrown a 180 first three darts, flipped the scores banged in another 180 in.. left 170 on purpose by hitting a 41 and checked it out đ€Ł I'll upload it on here.. he was sound as out! He then played my mate and he was left on double 7 chucked 2 darts out of the board had a bet with him for four pints if he hit it with the last dart pinged it right in the middle đ€Ł he made sure he got his 4 pints.. later on that night he seen us after he was done with his exhibition and invited us back stage where he just got us pissed out of our heads and give us a signed shirt! Ever since that night my thoughts of him changed and thought what a top guy.. he was with Vincent van da voort.. both class acts!

This is one of the best interviews ive watched for so long. Price is so honest with his answers, and its nice to see & hear about them just living a normal existence with some drinks & a dance together
We met MVG in a bar in exeter after the premier league years ago and he was sound. Was stood next to me at the bar with a hoodie on and i noticed him lol top bloke got a round for me and my mates then came and sat with us.
god i actually LOVE these podcasts just the versatility of the guests and how you really bring out their true self

Class interview, he always comes across well. He needs to be pumped up to play his best on stage but it clearly doesn't define him off it. BTW that winmau factory sounds immense
Price is world class, so much respect for him. On stage it's all about what you can bring and he brings it. Period. As a Dutchman I'd like to see MVG back at nr 1 but the top 4/5 players are all very good. I enjoy that quality darts.
Gerwyn is overhated. Incredible Darts player, top guy and someone like him is needed in the sports of Darts.
Fair play Mr price. A good interview it's nice to know these things do happen.

Me and a few mates bumped into Chizzy and his wife in a bar in Manchester in December and he was a bloody great lad, had full conversations with us and just didn't have any slight ego at all

@@wvtte6549 thatâs a funny image, crowd booing a Tesco worker đ but in all serious darts players shouldnât get booed because itâs not like a whole football team of 24 people including the coaches and bench, these are individuals who play wonderful darts and are actually really nice guys most of the time

DONâT JUDGE THE PLAYER ON THE OCHE, GET TO KNOW THE PERSON OFF IT. The oche is a battlefield just like any other sports field. Youâre not the person you normally are in the heat of the battle and you have a job to do.

Top bloke. People need to remember that anyone that goes on stage puts on a persona to some degree - to try and bring the best out of themselves to get the results and pay the bills
