I used to be in a place like Doja, where I was an incel pleaser pick me trying to fit into groups of right wing straight cis white men. But I was like 14, stuck in a southern school that is majority right wing so I was constantly surrounded by terrible people who made me feel embarrassed to be uncomfortable with the dark humor and bad ideologies of them. I was 13-15 and doing it as almost a form of self preservation so my queer Mexican self didn’t become the target of the terrible people around me (spoiler alert, it did not work i was a joke to them). But she’s a grown adult who should know better. I hope she realizes what she’s doing is terrible and realizes those people aren’t her friends, that she’s dehumanizing herself for white entertainment and get herself in a better place with better people who see her as a person and make her feel like she doesn’t have to objectify herself to fit in. But at the end of the day, she is an adult and it might be too late.

This is what happens when you’re on the internet from a young age with no supervision. You can get into “edgy” humor & never grow out of it. I know this bc when I was a child I used to go into all kinds of chat rooms with older people who I did not know. I was exposed to things that I definitely should not have been. I imagine this is what happened to her & she just never grew out of it/she enjoys this side of the internet.

Overall I don’t think Doja Cat is a white supremacist or a incel, she’s just herself. We will never really know her despite however she portrays herself to the public/online. There are times where she is in the wrong for sure & where her attitude/reaction was completely unnecessary.
