- Fred Armisen has been lucky enough to be able to bring his personal passions into his work, and if there's one thing Fred has shown us through the shocking reunion of 'Crisis of Conformity', it's that once a punk, always a punk.

The Fred Armisen Off Camera clips might be my favourite in the whole series
He’s my Absolute Absolute Favorite💕
That punk rock band reunion sketch spoke volumes to me, growing up punk way back when. It is one of my favorites. I can totally relate. I am glad he was given the green light to go for it.
"It's a love letter to my record collection, it's like if my record collection were alive and I was like, guys, I made something for you." It's so amazing to see someone who's inspired by the right things...to be creative...to be endlessly funny.

Who else watched the SNL skit right after watching this portion of the interview? Pretty damn good.
Bo Didley SNL
I found out about that sketch when Julian Casablancas tweeted about it a while ago. It’s one of my favorite SNL sketches. As a big fan of comedy and indie rock, Fred Armisen is one of my favorite SNL alumni and comedians in general.
Sam.....you are SO underrated as an interviewer. You are most probably the best there is. I have not seen one guest who seems uncomfortable to be interviewed by you. That takes a lot of preparation, patience and mad skills. THANK YOU.
Definitely.
Conan once said you have to do all the research and be totally prepared to be able to throw it out the window and go with whatever is in front of you. He does the same.
One of the most interesting, most relaxed interviews I've seen of Aubrey Plaza is Sam's.
i feel those last couple of seconds wow
One of my fav all time sketches. That sucicidal tendencies breakdown in the middle was so awesome
Way more depth to this dude than I could have Imagined. Love it.
As a 13 year old kid I went to see a john waters movie at the Naro theater in Norfolk, VA.
Sent me in a different direction, or rather, it was fuel for the direction I needed to go.
This was 1982-3
So excited to listen to the whole podcast!
Mikkel Toldam
What’s the podcast?
@@Eskey__ Off camera has a podcast with the full length interviews :)
I loved this. I can relate so much.
You hear that, Alexander Haig?!?!
May you live a hundred years, Fred.
you make awesome vids!
That ending is great, it really captures why some of us are so nostalgic about things from our teen years. We formed a pack. Meanwhile I don't think my wife engages in any entertainment from her teen years, she's totally separated from it.
Crisis of Conformity is so funny because of Corrosion of Conformity.
CoC is dope.
I still bang fist fight in the parking lot!
“Phase” is perhaps the most patronizing word anyone can use when describing another’s behaviour.

Cringe interview…. Unless I’m totally missing it and they’re both goofing right now. If so… brilliant!! Don’t let me get in the way of your butt sniffin!
